Same thing happened to me at some point today. Reinstalling wallet to see if that fixes it... will edit this post to reflect update
Looks like you guys are on a fork. Simply restarting the wallet should solve it for you. You may have to delete peers.dat too. Keep your debug.log files, zip em up and send them to the dev so he can fix this if its truly a problem with the coin.Yes please.

Hi everyone, I'm alive and recovering. Still do not have much energy but I'm glad to be back home and have my own bed  It's going to be a bit slow moving forward for the next little while. Firstly, I am not feeling 100% yet, and secondly, I want to make sure that all the groundwork is solid and done properly before moving forward. In terms of Dropcoin updates, I don't have much to offer as I haven't been able to do much of anything in the last week or so. There has been some progress on a pool, thanks to some active community members. Rough code for a working nomp pool is located at https://bitbucket.org/kernels10/nomp-droplp. I have not tested it yet but am told that ccminer and cpuminer should both be able to mine on it. If I get the chance I will try and get one up in the next day or so. Cheers, nscrypto |

Guys, if you want to sell your DROPs start pushing proper exchanges with volume instead of spamming the BCT thread. Last time I saw only a few people used twitter to adress the issue.
Agreed. I filled out a submission request form at poloniex, as I believe they are one of the best exchanges for new/different coins.

Ok that went faster than expected wallet links in the ANN updated I've tested the 32 and 64 bit windows installers and the osx wallet. They seem fine so far except for the osx wallet that crashed once in 3 hours due to some networking error on a hackintosh system that is known to have a network driver issue. If you get a warning asking if you want to rebuild the block index (or similar) just click ok and everything should go fine. Again, BACKUP BACKUP BACKUP before you update  thanks! The update will be mandatory eventually.  seems something wrong with new version of wallet.. I'm not 100% sure why that is showing up. It should be safe to ignore. I will look into that this afternoon when I get home again. |

I've updated the code on bitbucket. You are welcome to try it BUT, BACKUP YOUR WHOLE DATA DIR as this update will alter some items to make them unreadable by the previous version.
I have done a fair amount of testing on testnet and everything should be ok.
Seednodes have been updated and I should have compiled wallets and installers ready either tonight sometime or tomorrow.
If everything goes smoothly, I'll be turning my attention to getting a pool or something setup/working.

Alright, as some people are getting antsy about news, etc. I'm just going to say that this is not a short proof-of-stake/hype marketed project. I did not build everything and have it ready at launch time so I could have daily updates and releases for a couple weeks (and then have a completely dead coin). That said, I cannot sit at the computer 24/7 due to life/work/girlfriend. Believe it or not, I do occasionally enjoy going hiking or going to the beach tl;dr If you don't see me online for a day or two, don't panic.
Status Update:Major update to version 0.10.0 is very close to ready and I should have clients available for download by the end of the day on Friday. My build server is in good shape again so I should have windows installers as well as linux binaries for the v0.10.0 release. |

The standalone cpu miner doesn't work, I wasted an entire day mining with it and never found any block  . when I went back to mine with wallet miner I found a couple of blocks a few hours later. Did you make sure usepok was off? |

That's almost half of the supply! I had not realized there were so many coins out already. With ~50KH I managed to get like 4 blocks in around 8 hours and net hash was still below 4MH. Instamining might have sealed this coin's fate already there is no way this was anywhere near fair distribution at all. Sorry if it sounds like FUD, I'm not that good with numbers but I can't wrap my head around any logic as to why would i waste 8 hours of a dual xeon for 55 coins if a few people already have thousands? This was all yesterday BTW soon after a community member posted the windows wallet. That's a "WTB" not a "WTS" Hehe
Status Update:I have updated the OP/ANN with some more info and we have a block explorer Currently, I am merging bits of the current bitcoin core code into dropcoin and working on making it possible to create windows installers. |

Ok, making repo public and launching w/out windows wallet as my build server is now having connection issues  this is the 5 minute warning! it will not be fair... you're excluding lot of people... how much time takes to compile a windows binary? not long if you have a working build environment  oh and launched! |
