Have you been scammed recently? We can help, just send 10,000 Hyper to a pair of known scammers for setting up servers which will soon be gone. Furthermore, we will also throw in a "Goodbye and fuck you" note. If you wish to opt in, please do not delay. This offer ends soon!

nah but seriously good luck with your currency, because we got some free money out of it anyways. That's all we wanted. Sorry but we love money more than we love dying cryptos. HYPERFuture I again wish you luck, sorry we had to do this but can't deny free money. With regards from TE and me.

3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: A couple of questions from a newbie. on: October 23, 2014, 01:24:34 PM
You should buy from bitmaintech instead for their latest and more energy efficient miner. Old miner tends to eat a lot of power..

The U2 is an USB miner, 2,5W isn't a lot of power. True though, it isn't efficient: the U2 is actually a revamped U1 with a bit better OC capability, but that's about it.

If you're planning on investing in ASICs, to get the best return, always go with the most expensive from a trusted company Tongue Mostly, only those are worth it to invest in.

On the other side, I have 10 U2s that I used for a month or two Tongue I could resell them at a bargain price (they're eating dust now anyways), but only if the OP is from Europe too Wink

How much would you be looking for per unit? I live in the UK, so I am in Europe Cheesy
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / A couple of questions from a newbie. on: October 23, 2014, 11:44:37 AM
Hi, I'm semi-new to mining altcoins, I used to GPU mine BTC back when it was profitable but that seems not to be the case anymore.
I've gotten into mining altcoins, but GPU mining seems not profitable enough for the time it takes to earn profit. Would it be worth getting an Antminer U2(as i don't really want to buy a seperate unit, atleast not yet,  and use a ton of extra power) to mine altcoins with SHA-256? How profitable would it be with most coins, and about how long would it take to make what I invest?(most likely around ฿0.09 each i've seen them for new, if anyone knows if they're cheaper anywhere else I might consider bulk) I just use a multipool and set it to most profitable coin by the way, so whatever is most profitable gets auto changed into BTC. Thanks in advance for answering my questions.

Guys, I have some bad news. TeamEquinox(zel) has fallen ill and has been taken to hospital to recover. For now, I will be in control of the JC2 and the FTB servers and progress may be slowed a bit due to this unfortunate circumstance. But don't worry. He's not in a critical state and hopefully he should recover quickly. Stay tuned for updates and if there is any bugs/glitches on the servers etc. feel free to message me about them and I'll do what I can. Thank you all for the support.

You know you have a terrible gpu when it tells you to lower the difficulty below the minimum you can set it to :') Probably won't be worth me mining for now, I'll have to look into getting some asic's too Cheesy
Nice thing about gaming and cryptocurrency, is they both need a good GPU…it's worth it to invest in a nice 700-series NVIDIA, or equivalent AMD card!   Wink

Indeed. I'm getting a 970 probably within the next week or so, was considering a 980 but it's not worth the extra price for the 10-15% gain. I've been surviving on a 500 series card for the last 4 years Cheesy

Hi again... besides TF2 I'll be trying EVE online also, my question is: do we have to blow stuff up... or can we get Hyper by "mining" asteroids etc.
Thanks.

You can mine if you like but as mentioned the game is very PvP oriented and a PvP situation could be forced upon you by other players outside the corporation.

This is a pretty cool idea - rewarding players who also help the ISK coffers of the HYPER Crypto Corporation grow through mining in-game. We'll also need money to dominate the Universe as well as a HYPER army right? Sounds like it might be a dangerous task though - more dangerous than it seems!

I will be responding to all PM's and answering previous questions in this thread later today. Thank you everyone for your support and game on Wink

I am all for it. The only issue is that our corporation may have wars declared against it, relaxed half afk mining in EvE would result in loss of your mining ship. If we can get the corporaiton built up then we would have the ability to provide security for those mining.

The CS:GO server had a lot more players when running "workshop" maps. These maps can be buggy and cause errors resulting in illegitimate game currency gains. I can easily repair those damages as I have done in the past, but it also results in the statistics being skewed which can effect the monthly competition. I can not easily remove stat points gained due to bugs. Does anyone have any solutions for this problem?

As is we just run the default CS:GO maps. That is fine, but one of the biggest selling points of CS:GO is the ease of which one can mod and create content for the game. Some of the most popular user created content are the workshop maps. We need to run them.

Any ideas or suggestions on handling this? Thanks all

The lack of players on CS:GO has nothing to do with "no workshop" maps. The server is unplayable, it's extremely laggy and keeps warping.
The ping used to be around 70 for me before the addition of the bots, now it is sub 200. Everyone i have seen on the server tells me it is the same for them.

You live in Estonia. It's because you're so far away, not any changes on the server. Since the changes in the number of bots I've only seen a minimal(~1-3) ping change.

Distance is an issue for sure, but this seems to be the same issue for must EU users. I know my internet is not the best, its only 25mb downlink and 12mb uplink but it should be enough to play CS:GO on US servers.

I used to play on the server and my ping was around 70 but after the bots were added (i do not know if its the bots that cause it but its the timeframe where it started) the ping went to 200 and i started getting immense warps.

P.S I play on other US servers where i get 50-70 ping and can play with no issues.

Well, I get 130-150 ping from the UK and it's playable, i've always gotten that. Unless they've moved where the server was hosted then i don't see why your ping would change by THAT much. Maybe it used to be hosted in the EU? who knows.

Oh yeah and the winners of the CS blitz on both servers will be paid out today! Please make sure your HYPER address is on this thread to get paid out quickly http://hypercrypto.com/forum/index.php?topic=178.0

After payouts have gone out we will then be launching a new round which also includes the Team Fortress 2 server! Due to the rapid growth of HYPER 1st place is going to have to be reduced to 1000 HYPER next month. Sorry about this but we need to make sure we still have funding for all the awesome new HYPER game servers - as well as keeping the competitions alive Wink

what is max supply for this coin?

tyvm

rudar

there is no maximum due to interest. If you mean how many are in circulation, I believe it's around 3 million as of now? Not exactly sure.

I do believe that the CS:GO competition deadline was the 21st, correct? Well today is the 21st so I'm going to post the final rankings.

My HYPER wallet seems to be having issues syncing.  It gets to about 40% through the blocks, and gets stuck.  It seems to still have a healthy connection to the network, but just does not progress through the blocks any further.  Undecided   Any thoughts, suggestions?

EDIT:  I've already tried deleting all the HYPER data in the appdata folder, and starting the sync over from scratch.  No change, still gets stuck.  (repeated this a few times, made no difference)

Try just killing the task in taskmanager then reopening it, it tends to work but only for a short period.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Long term investments? on: October 18, 2014, 01:59:49 AM
Definitely invest in HYPER. Earn it for gaming mostly and it's a currency that in the past month has increased in value +200%

17  Economy / Trading Discussion / New(ish) user of bitcoin, Wondering where is the best place to sell. on: October 17, 2014, 09:48:06 PM
Simple as the title goes, Where is the best place to sell my bitcoin, I only have about 0.75 but I still want to sell. I'd like to get it paid into my paypal or directly into my bank account(in GBP if atall possible) and also obviously get the best price possible and as little fees but be able to be 100% sure that it's not a scam. I'd like a majority vote here so I can make a good decision. Thanks all for your help.

Nearly page 100! I'd say that makes us pretty popular Smiley Right, some updates for now. JC2 Checklist is done. Bugs are mostly ironed out, we were hoping about today we'd have all bugs ironed out, but we are pretty close to be fair! I think we're going to have to go with the last resort we had for the ftb server as I'm out of ideas as is everyone else that has helped me try to set it up. That idea being that we will have to find an already established server and ask the owner on how he set it up. It's certainly not the way I wanted to have to go to actually get someone else to pretty much set it up for me but we basically have no choice. Once TE gets back on, we shall get onto that idea and atleast hopefully we'll be able to sort this out, as I know alot of you are looking forward to the server.

Deposits now available on the HYPER Just Cause 2 server! - Refer to this thread for more info Smiley

http://hypercrypto.com/forum/index.php?topic=219.msg8286#new

I'm also changing the equivelent system. 5000 in-game is now 1 HYPER. .01 was far too low as the game is somewhat harder to earn money than I thought due to the server being quiet. Once it gets more popular, more things will advance!

so HYPER = EQX ?

EQX? What's eqx?

I think he's referring to EquinoxCoin, No, HYPER has nothing to do with that and is not at-all affiliated, he's just called TeamEquinox cause me and him have a youtube channel and were known as that when we used to play CoD, Minecraft(back in like beta days) etc.
