1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Scrypt Miners on: August 03, 2015, 06:20:28 PM

ok but what about roi?
i do a simple calc

for ltc with 110000khash, 1000watt consumption and 0.2$ watt/h

$10.04 gross profit / day
$5.24 net profit / day
$4.80 for electricity

the ASIC cost 1349$..

so you get ROI with 257days at this ltc price..
oh..
do not forget that in the best case, if ltc price double, you will get roi in 257/2 days, but if ltc price halve, you will get roi in 257 * 2 days!!!  Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin

and if the consumption is 0.35$ watt/h where i am then forget about it , Nice Math BTW

3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is there any chance Dogecoin will ever reach 1 Doge = 0.10$ ? on: August 03, 2015, 06:13:50 PM
1 ct would be a nice goal to reach first. If you buy a small amount of doge you can have your BMW easily by then Smiley

even if you have 1 Million Dogecoins and the price hit 0.01$ then it will be 10,000 USD, who is selling a BMW for 10k$ tell me fasttt ?

Mintcoins will probably reach 0.1$ sooner.

that is because its your own coin right ?
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: can i mine any altcoin with any miner ? on: August 01, 2015, 06:11:08 PM
Hya

its a noob question but can i mine any altcoin with any miner for example lets say antminer s3 can i mine peercoin dogecoin or anyother coin with antminer s3 ? or it is only made for bitcoins ?

you need to know wich type o ALGO the coin use.
for example if you want to mine bitcoin, you need an SHA 256 asic miner.
if you want to mine doge or litecoin you need an scrypt asic miner...
and so on...

In short, no. Altcoins uses different languages that they code in. Bitcoin uses SHA-256, litecoin uses scrypt and so does dogecoin I believe. You need to purchase a miner coded specifically for what you are planning to mine.

which mean i can mine any altcoin with any scrypt miner ?

It all depends of what coin you want to mine. Each coin uses it's own specific algorithm, some have the same algorithm. You have to, in order to get profit, purchase a miner capable of the coin you want to mine's algorithm.  Cheesy

Thank You Both  Smiley
