Cards are crap unless there's a business behind em.
So are domains. And off-the-shelf shopping carts.

Well seeing how the programers I know for SL I made friends with from one group or another, the goal is still the same. The programmers I know for SL would help me in the drop of a hat because A:I know each of them more then 5 years and B:I'm a friend and friends don't charge each other to do stuff.
Hi, friends. Please do hundreds of hours of work for me. I can't pay you, but we're friends, right?  Grin

WOOOOOSH

Most of the programmers I met in SL code servers for the likes of IBM.
Most of the programmers I know, myself included, get paid good money. What are you going to give them? Random IC parts you've desoldered from old junk you find lying around? 0.01BTC per hour? Pepsi Points? Subway cards?  Are they going to do this out of the goodness of their heart? Why, what exactly are you bringing to the table here? The domain name, some free web space, and a long history of delusions? You're a liability more than anything else.

Anyhow, here's my max. 1.5btc I do have more then that, just not much more.
You "don't have much more" than about $7.50 to spend on a domain. You can't even eat the cost of the bitcard domain name. I'm sure your casino will be fantastically successful. I look forward to the first customer winning a 'huge' 2 BTC and you threatening them with a restraining order because you can't pay them until you speak to your wife and she loans you some cash generated from a few SL cyber/phonesex jobs.

Since he has no money in $ or BTC, what currency will logansryche's casino operate with? Dr Pepper Points?
5  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTS] Domain: playcasinobtc.com on: September 27, 2011, 06:48:05 PM
If you take the .815 btc I have a server and a team of programmers on standby(one is from here, the others are from SL). We could make your project of opening an online bitcoin casino very possible.
I hope it goes better than your bid to buy the rights to Talespin, your attempts to start an animation studio to animate "Better Days", your multiple attempts at an online gift card store, your attempts to sell your "professional" services to others, your attempts at a furry radio play...

When will you learn that, no, its not possible, without skill, capital, planning, and above all else, a basic ability to accept reality? You can't even fucking give someone their $10 worth of bitcoins back without taking a loan from your wife. The domain name should be the *last* step in starting your casino.

Go back to Second Life.

6  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Scammer Alert: logansryche on: September 21, 2011, 10:25:23 PM
I don't think he was scamming in this case, no. But I think it's fairly obvious he he lies about pretty much everything (from having cards in stock, to obtaining restraining orders, to all the stuff in the CartsForCoins thread where he lied about how much work he put in/the size of OpenCart modules) and we don't need the lack of a wife-to-husband BTC transfer to doubt his story which is largely irrelevant in the scheme of things.
7  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Scammer Alert: logansryche on: September 21, 2011, 10:09:49 PM
Your landlord accepts bitcoins?

Again, logansryche has a history of being a liar/scammer/immoral guy. Why are you so surprised that he didn't in fact need to borrow a ridiculously small amount of money from his fiancée?
8  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Scammer Alert: logansryche on: September 21, 2011, 07:05:25 PM
logansryche has demonstrated several times now that he's a morally questionable immature manchild, predisposed towards lying and scamming, filled with a tremendous sense of entitlement and questionable grasp of reality, and utterly incapable of taking neither criticism nor responsibility for his own actions.

Do we really need to lower ourselves to making fun of his fiancée's appearance?
9  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Scammer Alert: logansryche on: September 21, 2011, 02:44:55 PM
This isn't how business is conducted!
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I'm done on: September 16, 2011, 07:12:15 PM
Aside from serious emotional instability he has a good hand for art.

He contracted it out.

Seriously. The guy starts an "animation studio" when he can't draw. A service offering tech expertise when he has none. An online store with $0 capital and not even a domain name.

And its *our* fault they weren't successful.

Sorry but I just CANT resist:

Wow, it looks like this guy has a history of getting angry and ignoring good advice and honest criticism.
http://voiceactingalliance.com/board/showthread.php?33743-Talespin

Starting an online store when you can't code or even afford a domain name is one thing. Asking Disney to give you the rights to Talespin and getting angry when people tell you its not going to happen is something else  entirely.  Cheesy

Seek help Matthew.
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I'm done on: September 16, 2011, 05:29:32 PM
loganrysche, to be 100% honest here, you deserve to fail. You cannot take criticism or advice, lack basic common sense, and then blame the community for your failures.

People complain about your prices being higher and you bitch at them. They complain about your site not keeping up with exchange rate fluctuations and you get all defensive, saying that you don't know how to code  a script and can't pay someone to do it, and can't be expected to do it manually. Well, yes, if you can't write a script or hire someone to do it, you SHOULD be doing it manually, or not operating the site in the first place. It's not the community's fault they don't want to overpay for a gift card when they already have the inconvenience of waiting a week for it to be mailed. You even complained about the *hassle* of setting up a .com domain for your online store after someone complained fei.x10.mx didn't look professional. You bitch that you can't afford a .com domain name. What the hell are you doing running a store in the first place?

You blame the community "hoarding bitcoins" as the reason your site was not successful. Hell, people complain about your inability to see that 10% of ($5, $10, $15) is not a flat $2 and you blame the school system.

I mean, look at this:

EDIT: and besides, even if I did drop prices now, I betcha no one would still buy em.

Just because we hate you? Or because you're selling something nearly no one wants?
Its not because you slap bitcoin prices on something that its gonna work.
It did in the begining.. amazing how many people will stand here and oust me now, but backed me up 6 months ago. One more reason why I'm done with bitcoin.

Now you're just delusional. When you launched your sorry excuse for a 'site' you were given plenty of criticism. And you then had the audacity to sell your services, saying "I can build such sites. Not everyone knows how to build these sites and/or set them up to run correctly. My rates are reasonable and my work is professional.", demonstrate exactly how unprofessional and incompetent you are, and you expect people to flock to your site?

Take some fucking responsibility, get your life in order, and stop trying to turn Bitcoin into a business when you have zero business sense and no startup capital and blaming everyone but yourself for your failures. If you need a car, work and save up for a car. Instead of bitching that the community 'doesn't trust you or is hoarding coins' and caused you not to get that '94 Explorer you wanted, how about recognizing that you shouldn't have sunk hundreds/thousands of dollars buying inventory for a site you don't know how to run or operate that isn't even initially hosted on a proper domain, and take on a shift or two at Quiznos.

No, just pointing out that the court summary shows the old lady as a sue-happy opportunist
Bullshit it did. Just because Joe Blow on the street had that uninformed opinion doesn't mean the court *that awarded her millions of dollars* did.

If anything, you're proving exactly why we should trust the court.

So Bruce is innocent because a jury decided that McDonalds were 80% at fault for serving coffee so hot that a woman suffered third degree burns and was hospitalized for 8 days receiving skin grafts?

Ok.
16  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I want to teach you how to make money. [Sticky Please] on: September 07, 2011, 06:42:15 PM
Hello Ms. Santos. Haven't seen you around TalkGold and Forex-TSD in a while. Still gambling and pretending you're investing I see.
17  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Has Bruce talked at all about the accusations of fraud against him? on: September 06, 2011, 10:45:59 PM
all i know is that in 5 years I have seen no sign of it, prostitutes, yes Ive seen thousands, child prostitutes, not one so far

No child prostitutes? What about "really short" prostitutes?
yes, there are short ones, the thing is, I dont care, all Im saying it that its a myth to portray pattaya as some kind of child prostitution place, sure you can no doubt hunt it out and its quite likely someone will report you to the police or blackmail you, but its not on the streets at all

I don't think anyone is portraying Pattaya as some sort of place where there are big "SEXY PRETEEN BOYS" neon signs or anything. I was also critical of the accusations of pedophilia against Bruce Wagner, until he decided to lie about what he did and didn't write in a thread about seducing virgins for 500 baht.

I understand that there is another side to Pattaya, but the fact remains, incidents of child prostitution are much higher in parts of Asia.  Pattaya is known for being a 'prostitution paradise'. And where there's prostitution, there's child prostitution. Hotel staff in Pattaya are specifically trained to warn guests that its illegal, and there are many Pattaya-specific outreach programs for the children that end up there.

And just because you don't personally witness something doesn't mean it isn't rampant. Do you frequent sex clubs, or just the streets? Are you a western tourist, or a local?

18  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Has Bruce talked at all about the accusations of fraud against him? on: September 06, 2011, 09:22:15 PM
Yes there is a lot of prostitution, the economy is based on it ever since the US military started coming here, but underage prostitution is illegal here
Prostitution is illegal in Thailand, period. So your claims that it 'doesn't happen' because it's 'illegal' are flawed.

I have no doubt there is child prostitution here if you look hard enough as it is in every city in the world. I know that wont sell many newspapers in the west but thats the way it is.

Quote
According to the US-based research institute “Protection Project”, estimates of the number of children involved in prostitution living in Thailand ranges from 12,000 to the hundreds of thousands (ECPAT International). The government, university researchers, and NGOs estimated that there are as many as 30,000 to 40,000 prostitutes under 18 years of age, not including foreign migrants (US Department of State, 2005b). Thailand’s Health System Research Institute estimates that children in prostitution make up 40% of prostitutes in Thailand.

*Thailand's own* research estimates that 40% of all prostitutes in Thailand are children. You're crazy if you think it's 'no more' than any other city.

Good in Pattaya!

That doc should probably link to this post as well. It's the only one Bruce could delete because the other two were guest posts.

It's nice to contrast "Bitcoin Bruce" claiming that child sex doesn't happen in Pattaya to "Thailand Sex Bruce" talking about karma coming back to bite the asshole foreigners that painfully rape virgin customers for $12. I find it interesting that Bruce differs himself by offering 'love' and 'higher tips'. Nothing about not going after virgins. How old can these virgins be?
