I have a server available to move site to if I need to.  I am working on a programmer to see if he can do what I am looking for.  Hopefully if he can I would like to have this domain and be ready for play soon.

If you take the .815 btc I have a server and a team of programmers on standby(one is from here, the others are from SL). We could make your project of opening an online bitcoin casino very possible.

I hope it goes better than your bid to buy the rights to Talespin, your attempts to start an animation studio to animate "Better Days", your multiple attempts at an online gift card store, your attempts to sell your "professional" services to others, your attempts at a furry radio play...

When will you learn that, no, its not possible, without skill, capital, planning, and above all else, a basic ability to accept reality? You can't even fucking give someone their $10 worth of bitcoins back without taking a loan from your wife. The domain name should be the *last* step in starting your casino.

Go back to Second Life.

1.5 BTC? Why that's a pathetic amount of money to bid on a domain! Insultingly low! A man of integrity and with true intentions to build a venture should be willing to bid more than 10, or 20, or more! I would myself, if I so cared. And in truth, when an entrepreneurial opportunity comes up, I frequently salivate at the thought of it, itching to contain myself. There really is nothing more satisfying that hard work to the accomplishment of industry. However, there is only such honor and satisfaction in proper business, and gambling is no proper business, so far as I'm concerned. Best of luck to whomever undertakes this venture with the integrity it deserves, and bully for your effort, but I must draw myself out of it.

I might build a poker bot to play there, I know the guys at IBM that coded Watson.

And I shall name it AI NAME GOES HERE

I can probably pay them 10 BTC each for working on the bot, 5 BTC up front and the other 20% later.

Most of the programmers I know, myself included, get paid good money. What are you going to give them? Random IC parts you've desoldered from old junk you find lying around? 0.01BTC per hour? Pepsi Points? Subway cards?  Are they going to do this out of the goodness of their heart? Why, what exactly are you bringing to the table here? The domain name, some free web space, and a long history of delusions? You're a liability more than anything else.

You "don't have much more" than about $7.50 to spend on a domain. You can't even eat the cost of the bitcard domain name. I'm sure your casino will be fantastically successful. I look forward to the first customer winning a 'huge' 2 BTC and you threatening them with a restraining order because you can't pay them until you speak to your wife and she loans you some cash generated from a few SL cyber/phonesex jobs.

The domain name should be the *last* step in starting your casino.

Yes, there are far more important things to do, such as naming a CEO, coming up with logos, deciding whether your bevy of programmers should use web 2.0 or web 3.0 technology (I suggest 3.0), setting up a forum, ordering up business cards, designing some "under construction" graphics, "hiring" a VP of Marketing (working for equity only, of course), writing up a mission statement, ordering a copy of "PHP Illuminated", etc etc

If I've learned anything from these forums, it's that the first thing I need to do is proclaim myself CEO of my company. I'll worry about setting it up and all the other little details later - I'm an ideas guy.

Well I would bid more but I can't so I won't. I bid what I can spend. You would too.

Well seeing how the programers I know for SL I made friends with from one group or another, the goal is still the same. The programmers I know for SL would help me in the drop of a hat because A:I know each of them more then 5 years and B:I'm a friend and friends don't charge each other to do stuff.

Actually If I really wanted to I could just let the bitcard domain slip into oblivion and say the hell with it. It's bought and paid for in full. So I want to sell it, it's my right. I paid $12 for it as it's a godaddy domain. Big whoop. I look at this way. Either op sells it to me or I go and register a domain and do it myself. Either way a online casino will be built.

Logansryche, I took the liberty of making you a business card to help you get started:

https://i.imgur.com/Duzzb.jpg

You'll notice that I tried to adapt it to your style as much as possible, which is the kind of quality you can only expect out of such a premium service such as mine.  Notice the comic sans?  I thought it was a nice fit.  Since that took me 7 hours to make and upload, you now owe me 3BTC.  If you doubt the time I spent on it I will upload a picture of the post it note where I wrote down all the times.  That will probably take me another 3 hours, though, since I'll need to upload it in small parts, so at that point you'd owe me another 2BTC, which I calculate as a 10% markup.

So are domains. And off-the-shelf shopping carts.

Either way a online casino will be built.

What's stopping you from starting to build it now before getting a domain name like a normal person would?
