... As a gox victim i wont be selling my bitcoin at a loss, no point in that.
You're framing the question wrong. The choice is not "sell @ loss now or sell @ profit later." It's "sell @ big loss now or @ [possibly] bigger loss later."

yeah I don't think tulips solved the byzantine generals problem or could be configures easily as a trustless distributed network. But hey that's just me.
Solving the Byzantine generals problem is a pointless when you have no armies. If you're impressed with trustless distributed networks which manage to solve it, there's a whole bevy of >>>/altcoins/. Enjoy "investing" in them. If I'm not being clear, I'll spell it out: No one but a handful of paranoid libers *care* about money being decentralized. Normal people just want money that 1) Is simple to use 2) Is accepted everywhere 3) Doesn't lose 75% of its buying power a year. Bitcoin fails all three. So now you're in the know

That HYIP has been running for less than a month, no way they scammed people for "tens of thousands of Bitcoin". Don't underestimate investment prowess of Bitcoiners.

... and is willing to pay a higher price than the previous sell...
Bob has wised up & isn't willing to pay more than the previous sell price. He's not even willing to pay as much as the last sell price => BTC price tanking. Money is exiting the Bitcoin network Right now it is true. cex.io stopped cloud mining, bitstamp has been hacked, the Dollar is strenghtening against all currencies. In Euro Bitcoin is still at 230 euros and things will change when the Dollar will tank and Bitcoin starts having positive news, a positive trend. The future will look very bright for Bitcoin and the price will rise but it will be too late to make a big profit for those who didn't believe in it. No better way to lose money than blind faith in shit you don't understand. But hey, if it wasn't for your ilk, this forum wouldn't be full of raped lolcows what it is today. Carry on.

I think what this thread needs is a maybe 20 or 30 more trolls and their sock puppet accounts...
TL;DR: I'm an emotionally compromised tweeny girl. No need to get upset, sweety.

... Cryto-currencies are not like fiat...if everyone just accepted that I think there would be a lot less pain.
If by "survival" you mean one neckbeard with two netbooks continuing to mine Bitcoin, I agree. If. OTOH, you mean "not making everyone holding for more than a day poor," that's sorta iffy... trolls could hate bitcoin to death with incessant FUD, misinformation, confusion spreading. But what will they have really achieved? Nothing, because going back to the bonds of fiat tyranny where they can snivel and lick the boots of their banker masters is not progress... Since I've started posting in this thread, Bitcoin price has nearly halved. Coincidence, you say? HAHAHAHAHA!

This market feels broken down to me. Volume is low at these prices. Like someone else mentioned, one would have expected more. Where are all the buyers? I sense we are in some kind of fear phase and you know what happens next. ... In Bitcoin world it's denial again. Stuck in a hideous Mobius loop they can't get out of & sure as f8ck can't understand.

-I'm frightened, Auntie Em! I'm frightened! --Dorothy? Dorothy? Where are you? It's me, Auntie Em! We're trying to find you! Where are you? -I'm here in Oz, Auntie Em! I'm locked in the witch's castle, and I'm trying to get home to you, Auntie Em!
When I count to three, gentlemen, you'll wake up, and this miasma will vanish like dew in the morning sunshine. It's all been a really, really bad dream! Lol, just kidding, shit's 100% real.
