Coupons were offered to customers who bought S7 Batch 8 and the order has been paid till Nov. 30, 19:00 of Beijing time. Please kindly check your account if you've already had Batch 8 order  Batch 1 compensation? Havnt heard anything yet |

My Internet went down before i woke up this AM.
My S5s came back online when the internet came back up...but my S7 (batch 1) didn't. I can still see it when i check it thru my LAN. All the ASICs are there and have all 0's but there is no hashing. The fans are running too.
I rebooted. No change. I switched PSUs - still no change. I did a few reboots- no change. Then i reset it to factory settings- still no change. Finally, i called Bitmain in Denver. The tech guy used chrome remote desktop to look at my kernel log , miner status etc. Then he shh'd into my rig. He couldn't find a problem either.
So I will be contacting Bitmain to see what can be done.
Has anyone else had this problem?
I have this issue, go into Network>Diagnostic and then ping something. Go back after a minute and check if it is hashing. |

Can you show us how you setup the tube - I am trying to reduce the sound from my S7s - the neighbors are complaining now :-(

I put a piece of foam in front of the intake. Before I did that the miner was running at approx 75 Decimals  After It is down to 59 Decimals here is a screenshot of the temperature. The miner is sitting in a garage with 6 other miners going. weird, i don see the image in chrome Nor do I, here you go https://www.dropbox.com/s/tma3fwh1lk5bym3/20151114_181306.jpg?dl=0that little thing changed the noise from 75dB to 59dB? I will try it tomorrow... For sure my wife would not let me keep the S7 with that annoying loud howling sound so I had to come up with a solution. |

It seems to me that Bitmain has had time to get things caught up...so I am wondering when the compensation for Batch 1 will start to get taken care of? The longer they wait the higher the BTC they own us is worth.  everything is priced in USD... if bitmain owes any moneys, it will be the USD amount.. correct me if I am wrong..

NICE! I almost wish my batch was delayed a week and get a months worth of hashing out of the deal! Has anyone received compensation for late shipment yet? No any news on this? Its been awhile since B1 was finished shipping. |

Hi, does anybody knows how to stop beep sound when connection to net is down? I cannot find any controler of "beep sound" like S4 had. Thanks for any advice.
I don't think the S7's have a speaker to notify you when the internet connection goes down. I may be wrong but I though that's how they designed them. I have two now .. both of them beeps like a hell  ..so it does You hear beeping over the jet blasters? That's a good question. Has anyone changed the fans out on their S7 to a quieter version? What I did to help the noise is I placed a small foam piece covering the air intake maybe 10%-20% covered. I have not had any heat or noise issues. |

For some reason, my Antminer S4 card became corrupt. I went out and bought a new SD Card, but I am unsure of how to put the firmware on the card. Any help would be awesome thank you!

Serious question. Why are people buying these. I just did a quick break even calculation and assuming zero electricity costs, not including the PSU cost, and zero difficulty increases you break even in about 190 days. Obviously those are very favorable assumptions, probably very unrealistic.
Not criticizing the product, just really curious about it, since I mined for a very long time (before finally giving it up last year), and I've bought Ant Miners before, but I now find myself scratching my head. The numbers these days just don't seem to make sense to me.
i 100% agree.. the s7 is too large for a home miner.. you have to get special outlets if you already dont have 30 amp or 220 outlets. takes 2 high end or one large expensive power supply. you would be lucky if you break even on cost before the block halfs.. if you dont you might not ever.. its not like the price of btc will double overnight.. bitmain should have made smaller home miners, maybe one of the s7 hash boards. i would have replaced my s3s with those. Built in my recreation room downstairs just for home mining:  ALL of this gear is gone now awaiting S7's: [That is black spray paint on the wall inside the mining closet. It was as good of a place as any at the time to do some painting]. Five (5) 240V/30A circuits provide power for the Five (5) 240V/30A PDU's. Two of the PDU's are mounted to the ceiling joists out of the picture. Don't mind the orange 10/2 wire hanging down. That's another 240V/30A line I was running that was not completed yet at the time of the photograph. I had more hardware (S5's) that were put into use on the left side that were not set up yet at the time of the photo. As you can see... I already have the 220V to 240V outlets with PDU's and I have several Corsair Platinum 860 watt PSU's. What you don't see in this photo are the 19 IBM 2880W PSU's. Four of the IBM 2880W PSU's were being used for the 15 SP20's. The rest are out of the picture. So, I'm not spending any extra money on outlets, wiring for outlets, PDU's, PSU's, ethernet cords or PCI-e cords. I already have the peripherals. I only need the rigs. The 14,400 CFM exhaust fan is plenty for my present needs of getting the heat out.  This photo was taken during the initial setup of the hardware.
