New York is at it again. Now, a member of the government is suggesting to make bitcoin a 'penalty money'.

http://bitforum.info/t/use-your-bitcoin-in-new-york-to-pay-for-parking-fines/275?u=angelo

I think it would be wise if Bitcoin can be used that way.

Imagine using bitcoin for government fines and etc.

What do you think?

That would be great if it could be used worldwide.

The unusual behavior of 'Willy' - A Mt. Gox trading bot.

Do you think Mark Karpeles is behind this?

Do you think that because of the fact that Ulbricht is going to be sentenced soon, are they going for Karpeles too?

5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do You Know Andrei Svintsov? on: March 05, 2015, 12:57:23 PM
He is the Russian Lawmaker That Says - “Bitcoin Was Made By United States To Fund Terrorists”

First of all, I believe that this man is uneducated and has not researched his subject yet.
I don't what he is trying to prove, but I think he is just squeezing his self into Russia - US limelight.

I just hope he shuts up before its too late for Bitcoin's journey in Russia.
Why should someone educated listen to this guy?

7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did ISIS Really Passed On Bitcoin on: March 05, 2015, 12:37:52 PM
Did ISIS Really Passed On Bitcoin

Well, I agree with the former under secretary.

Maybe, they are just stalling the media or giving false news about them making a new currency.

Anyway, if they do use Bitcoin, price shouldve been astronomical by now.

Doesnt make sense..

I think its just too early for ISIS to be using Bitcoin.
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do We Need Social Media Promotion on: March 05, 2015, 12:29:32 PM
Does Bitcoin Need The Social Media's Help To Promote Itself?

Well, Bitcoin needs all the help that we can get. With its current situation, Bitcoin Foundation is just thinking out of the box to help Bitcoin recover and might even succeed.

With the help of Social Media, bitcoin can attract new and young users. Learn about bitcoin and eventually adopt it.

Maybe this is the first step of mass adoption.

What do you think?

Everything that could help mass adoption and mainstream acceptance we need it.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Is The Media's Effect To Bitcoin? on: March 05, 2015, 12:19:22 PM
What Will 2015 Bring For Bitcoin And Media?
Of course, like any other topic around the world, media sometimes overshoot their reports about Bitcoin. Still, publicity is publicity, its doesnt matter if its good or bad.

I believe that 2015 will be a big year for Bitcoin in terms of popularity. Right now, there are a lot of good news coming each week. International businesses integrating bit[Suspicious link removed]gle accepting bitcoin, Dell accepting bitcoin and so on.

Media will slowly realize that Bitcoin is a game changer, a vital tool for mankind and people needs to be informed.

As Andreas said, give bitcoin two years...then lets see what will happen.

Media is very important to Bitcoin.
That is the source of all the information that the masses listen to. Smiley

I think theres a docu coming up about Ulbricht. Smiley
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Is Safer Compared To Other Digital Payment Platforms on: March 05, 2015, 11:55:10 AM
A result of a new survey says that US customers are more confident in transacting bitcoin and considers it safe compared to other online wallets or mobile apps.

Although we are in the most bottom part of the survey, I myself can say that this is a positive thing for us.

As what analysts says, give bitcoin time.

Soon.

I will be proud if they could beat cash in the number 1 position.
