1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin XT - Officially #REKT (also goes for BIP101 fraud) on: December 17, 2015, 09:07:55 PM
It's possible gmaxwell has had enough abuse. Apparently he gave up commit access to the bitcoin github. I saw his last post was in this thread a few days ago.

I've found the abuse the Core devs and BlockStream to terrible. I wouldn't blame any of them for choosing to walk away. On certain (unimportant) forums there's some celebration of the idea that gmaxwell may be walking away. Reading it, I have to say that I would walk away from a community with so many evil people. Frankly, I don't want to be in a "community" with people like that either. If there were a way to boot all of them out and keep gmaxwell, I'd prefer that. If they'd just fork off and leave the rest of us with Bitcoin, things would probably be fine (after a shaking out period). Instead they seem intent on "occupying" Bitcoin.

I'm sure gmaxwell knows he has a lot of supporters in the Bitcoin community. That wouldn't change if he decided to leave. I think most people would understand.

Looks like we know more about the politics of paycoiners from this post.

Not really a surprise after looking at the "economic model" of Paycoin. Maybe Obama is part of the Sea Pig.
4  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW / Josh Garza discussion. Paycoin XPY CoinStand Mineral. ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :) on: April 26, 2015, 06:45:30 PM
I thought you worked at the paycoin foundation

No.

They a funny part in that paycoin chat video the other day when a question wuz: "Why ain't Jonah got no friends?" or somethin like that. Got big laughs. That dev guy said Jonah a good guy tho.

Another funny questn wuz "How y'all diffrent from Josh?"

Last half hour of that chat video is good. At aroudn 1 hr 9 mnts Matlock said he and Paycoin Foundation guy had been "courtesy called" by SEC to say Johs wuz lying about SEC thretining to take Priem Controlers.

Super good and super long podcast, yo. Coinfire dude remarked at 1:33 mark about coinfire loosing its cf domain. Partial transcript:

Quote
Our domain did not simply expire. There was somebody behind that. We know who it was. The authorities know who it was.

I'm just waiting to see what the next move is going to be...if they're gonna pursue this guy or not. I don't know if it's worth it to the authorities to  pursue this guy because he's already wanted for other things...and they haven't caught him for those. So mine is kinda...it's just a domain on the internet. ... I'm just a website. It's just me and a couple of people and we write news. It's not like we're a big deal or anything. And so to the authorities it's like ... to the people involved in
the investigation ... this is probably the bottom of their list.

This guy is wanted for other stuff that's much more serious than him basically getting in and taking our domain down and getting it reregistered.

Its clear they ain't wanting to say who yet, but I'll lay odds its...

Neal Rauhauser: cyberterrorist, child support delinquint, SWATter, comrade of Brett Kimberlin (speedway bomber, American terrorist)

Yo, heads up. soon I'll be telling y'all I told y'all so.

I can tell you that after he insinuated it was him who did it on the HashTalk forums, David swiftly fired his ass.

Oh, yeh, I done forgot that part of the story. Thanks!

It makes me so sick to think the Republicans might get voted back in in 2016. Their first candidate out of the gates, Ted Cruz, is probably invested in XPY and posting as a shill on HT.  That's about his speed.

Yo, if anybody's interested in the politics of GAW: one of the main shills there is "Neal Rauhauser" -- a Kos kid. Google him. He is likely who hacked coinfire when it was still dot cf. He calls swat teams to the homes of conservative bloggers. Maybe it's time for supporters of Dear Leader to give XPY a second look. I hear it promises to bring Hope and Change to the cryptoworld!

Seriously, you really don't want these GAW supporters or Obama supporters to know your identity. They're delusional and fucking dangerous, yo. Fucking dangerous.

Yo, glad to see this thread is getting back on topic.

There ain't no good reason for these kinda private pics to be made public, so if somebody got more share them with me in private by PM.
12  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Miners Paybase Paycoin unofficial uncensored discussion.ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :) on: March 08, 2015, 09:00:50 PM

But fork or not, crypto is permissionless. I could do it and GAW couldn't do shit. Threaten to sue me, but fuck them. Jot Ganza ain't goin near a courtroom unless he's done arrested.

Not when you have miners only owned by a single entity: a Company in our case.

Not "this case" -- not "the case of XPY" -- but "our" case.

People wanna be calling "troll." I be calling Ganza.

If transactions confirm instantly, it ain't a cryptocurrency. If it's a cryptocurrency, transactions ain't confirming instantly.

Paycoin ain't a cryptocurrency. Confirmed, yo.
14  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Miners Paybase Paycoin unofficial uncensored discussion.ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :) on: March 08, 2015, 08:07:38 PM
The problem with this proposal is that much of the coins are likely on exchanges already, so you can't seperate out the ones owned by Gaw. Plus, what about the customers who hold coins on Zencloud or Paybase? If they withdrew, they'd lose their coins on this plan.

Yo, not the sole controller of private keys, got no bitcoins. I was gonna say "paycoins" but "got paycoins" and "got no paycoins" ain't that different.

About the "instant transaction" feature of Paycoin. Yeh, paycoin made people's bitcoins instantly transact into Ganza's wallet. Good point, yo.
15  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Miners Paybase Paycoin unofficial uncensored discussion.ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :) on: March 08, 2015, 07:32:32 PM
Yo, people be confused about how easy it is to get rid of the GAW premine. Let me lay it out:

1. Pick a block height in that XPY chain.
2. Collect all them unspent transaction outputs.
3. Throw out them that look GAWish.
4. Restart with new block chain with a premine giving coins to non-GAWish addresses. (Look what Clams did for example.)

And that there is how Paycoin3 can be started cleansed of its Ganza roots.

It ain't hard. Unless you ain't got enough knowhow to even redirect DNS. Then it's kinda hard.

If the Paycoin community be wanting advice on how to do this, then they should go to the start of this message and read it again. </consultation>

Edit: jot

Does this create a new fork in the blockchain?

If yes that separate completely the Paycoin software from the ownership of GAW Miners or the Paycoin Foundation.

You need authorisation to do that.

Shit, not really a fork. Not the same genesis block.

But fork or not, crypto is permissionless. I could do it and GAW couldn't do shit. Threaten to sue me, but fuck them. Jot Ganza ain't goin near a courtroom unless he's done arrested.

Just for the record "terrorist" is the modern day bogey man.

Just for the record: what is currently misnamed "terrorism" is actually "jihad" -- and has a very long bloody history predating the US by more than 1000 years. This is obviously completely off topic in this thread.

I disagree, terrorism, as defined by the US government includes more than muslims.  There is a reason they said that if you believe in the US constitution, ever served in the military, use ham radio or internet chat and a whole bunch of other things you might be a terrorist.  It is basically anyone the US gov disagrees with or is unable to politically control.

Further jihad answers the "why" question where terrorism answers the "how" question.  You can be a jihadi without being a terrorist and you can be a terrorist without being a jihadi.

The reason this is on-topic is because of the claim of terror funding.  Was it specified if it was domestic or foreign terrorism?  For all I know he was helping support one of the activist groups (ELF is listed as a terror organization), militias (some but not all are terror orgs some just do the more historical role), or perhaps some other crazy group out there somewhere in the world.

I ask because while there are things mentioning ISIS there are also a lot of conclusions people have jumped to and I did not know what was factual and what was speculation with the ISIS ties.

You make a good point. Released govt documents have pointed to people with anti-government views as being "terrorists," while the current powers that be try to avoid using the word "terrorism" when actual jihadi attacks occur (e.g., Paris). I see a lot of jihad-denialism on forums like these. It's annoying. (It's also a jot demeaning to Muslims -- like they're not capable of being evil unless the *real* evil people, us, have made them evil. Not just ahistorical, but dumb.)

This is from the coinfire article:

Quote
The SEC has been sharing documents with the FTC, IRS, FinCen, and even the Department of Homeland Security regarding potential money-laundering and the movement of money to those believed to be actively working with terrorists abroad.

Assuming this is correct, it's foreign not domestic. (Edit: I see vnhyp0 just posted another quote from the article pointing to Saudi Arabia.)

Now that you've brought this up though, there are a hell of a lot of anti-government types in crypto. DHS could easily target every exchange using the pretense of having "domestic terrorists" as customers. (Maybe they should add a couple of questions to their KYC: 1. Do you think the constitution is, like, really old and out of date? 2. How much do you (sigh) really love our glorious President Obama?)

This is all on-topic because I used the word jot.

On topic: If Garza took a few million from jihadis and "laundered" it into worthless paycoins, then that sound like the first good thing about GAW I've heard. It's more effective than the "anti-terrorism" governments have engaged in.

Exciting day, yo.

Word to the wise. If you don't want to get caught up in any legal hassle, consider making a new account over Tor (e.g., using Tails). This especially goes for people posting and analyzing this material.

Alot of people done good work calling out this scam. I don't want to be seeing any good people get in trouble for whistleblowing.

Posting analysis on one of those reddits sounds like a good idea too. I don't care which one. Reddit don't even ask for an email address.
