1  Local / Skandinavisk / Re: SVERIGES VIRTUELLA VALUTAVÄXLING (BTC Exchange) on: February 15, 2014, 07:31:58 PM

2  Local / Marketplace (India) / Re: Traveling with Bitcoins (selling Bitcoins), Delhi, Mumbai, GOA on: May 23, 2013, 06:25:15 AM

3  Local / Marketplace (India) / Traveling with Bitcoins (selling Bitcoins), Delhi, Mumbai, GOA on: May 14, 2013, 06:08:20 AM
I am arriving in Delhi tonight and I am trying to use as much Bitcoins as I can when traveling.

I'm not looking to sell bitcoins for 10% below marketprice,

I am looking for a fair price for anyone who wants to meet up with a Bitcoin-nerd from Sweden and help me avoid ridiculous fee getting by using Bitcoins instead of Swedish Kronor to IRS.

Will be traveling to different parts of India: Delhi, Mumbai and Goa is the only I am certain about right now though.

Not to crash in on your thread, but I am interested in the same thing this fall. Especially anyone in South Eastern India. Looking for rupees, horse rentals, and wildlife trackers.

This new service seems awesome for prepaid phonecards:

Currently looking for information about 3G/4G USB mobile and how good it works at different locations, prices and possibly if there is a way to fund them with BTC.

Thanks for all the information.

I don't know where I am going but probably spend a couple of months just traveling and hire a place to live for a while.

Will be planning projects online while visiting, so keeping my tablet updated with all the reading I want to do and having a good connection for my laptop is important.
I'm definitely ready to pay up to 50$ per month for something that works, seems like India is great Smiley

I'll be sure to contact you guys if I want some INR vs Bitcoins!
9  Local / India / Traveling in India, what can I do with Bitcoins? on: December 26, 2012, 07:56:15 PM
I might be traveling to India soon for a couple of months, what can I do with my Bitcoins there?
Can I exchange my Bitcoin to Rupee, can I buy stuff?

Also I need internet-access to my laptop, can I buy that with Bitcoins? If not, how much does it cost for a stable internet-connection on my Laptop?

Thanks for any help.

10  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] OGRR.COM adds 20,000 users, HIRING Full-Time PHP Developer, Designer on: November 19, 2012, 01:20:28 PM
we're in search of a full-time Senior Web Developer to continue expanding and refining the features on the forum,

is this telecommute or only for candidates in the bay area (or willing to relocate there)?

It's a telecommute employment, but being located in the bay area would be great.

11  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Ogrr.com merger complete - 17k new users try Bitcoin on: October 31, 2012, 12:07:13 PM
How does one advertise on ogrr?

We will add a own sub-forum for this in the future to keep advertisements in one place.

The merger is not finished yet and we have tons of stuff to fix before the site is fully functional.

Thanks for all the support.

12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [SOLVED] Bitcoin's chicken and egg problem on: May 04, 2012, 02:25:59 PM
I've had a serious bitcoin related issue with Ogrr for the last month or so, and have not gotten any help or responses from the admins there. Hopefully it's an unusual circumstance, but it doesn't look good.

this is news to me.  admin's mailbox is empty.  how have you gone about seeking help for your problem, and what is your problem?

I've messaged superior and killbill and have received no response. I just messaged admin, but I have no record of the message being sent.

Admin hasn't received any messages.  you can pm me the problem here or post it publicly here or on Ogrr.

I sent another message to admin, it should be there now. I still don't understand why the other board admins/mods didn't get back to me about this issue.

From what user account did you send me a message?

We removed a bunch of forums and made the main-page a lot smaller for now, we are still working on some stuff improve the main-page.

You can see a members mBTC in their profile or right under the avatar in any thread.
I noticed that! Good job for listening to the advice and truncating it even further now, I think bitplane was right on that. The Bitcoin forums evolved the same way, and now it has lots of subforums. With this kind of ambition, I’m pretty sure ogrr will do well. Smiley

BTW, I saw you had a nice contest for banners and used it for a favicon, do you plan to place that on the front as well?

This thread has been useful for us and I agree bitplane posts was really on spot and we are grateful for any input we get.
Yeah. I can't say we are 100% certain on what logo we will end up finally using yet, there will be a logo placed on the front and we are also working on a front-page.

The forum numbers will grow dramatically when Diablo 3 is actually released. There is not much market for D2 stuff now, and most of the other games they have listed don't have as large market potential. Look for the numbers to double by June, then skyrocket from there. My guess is 200,000 by the end of the year.

Not if they don't reduce the number of forums it won't.

Also, has anyone even got any mBTC listed in their profiles? I can't see any.

All feedback and criticism is highly appreciated!
Are you going to add automatic funds?

It's on the way but I cannot give you an ETA on that today.

I saw that you were in our IRC-channel earlier today, I missed you by an hour, you can contact me (Superior) or jesse on the boards with any questions you might have.

Hey guys, thanks for all the support.

It surely makes sense to inactivate some of the sub-forums until we reach a higher need for them, it's something we will discuss.

All feedback and criticism is highly appreciated!

18  Economy / Goods / Re: wtb d2jsp fg 1$ worth of btc -> 100 d2jsp fg on: January 21, 2012, 05:19:32 PM
You might want to try Ogrr.

never heard of that, looking now... interesting... i've been on jsp since it was a java script parser.. and hadn't heard of this

edit: eh spoke too soon there are like 2k posts on that entire forum = worthless

Ogrr is still in beta and has just opened for public registrations.

New members still get 1 BTC free after making 10 posts and you are probably more likely finding people trading you d2jsp forum gold on there than here.

19  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What's the first thing you're gonna do when you become a Jr. Member? on: December 01, 2011, 08:17:44 PM
I'll be looking for some nice trades, discuss the future of BTC and be posting in the Scandinavia section!
20  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Whitelist Requests (Want out of here?) on: December 01, 2011, 02:17:56 PM
I would like to get out off here so I could use different parts of the forums, discussing ideas for a project we are working on in order to get Bitcoins out to a broader audience.
I just did a trade via these boards but I couldn't reply to the thread and had to make a private message (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=53446.0 trade was done with this guy and it worked perfectly)

I'm interested in many parts of the forum, discussing ideas in order how to make Bitcoins easier for new users and it's use for virtual items trading.
I also have a interest in the Scandinavium section since I'm from Sweden.

I was at the Bitcoin-conference in Prague this weekend and meet some cool guys and had a very interesting week.

I'm using this whitelist thread because I don't want to be posting in order just to post.
