Are you looking for Shibanu coins as well? I may still have some of those and possibly graded. I attached the wallets in case that's a problem.
2  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Pandaminer B3 Plus Motherboards on: February 11, 2021, 09:28:50 PM
Did you try contacting Panda Miner directly? If they won't help, I bet one of the vendors on Alibaba that sells used panda miners would be willing to sell you a used motherboard. Good luck.

Edit: I think you can buy spare parts from Panda Miner, see https://pandaminer.udesk.cn/hc/articles/67362?api_name=

I will take all 4 if you don't mind using an escrow for this.

You have not posted for 18 months give or take before this so it just makes me a bit paranoid.

Or, if you want to trust me you can ship and I'll pay once they are here. Up to you.

agreed, I will ship first. Sold pending.

10  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTB] 2011 Cas (any value) on: October 10, 2018, 02:40:18 AM
Interested in one redeemed and handled? Holo is still halfway attached.

If you peeled this coin please stop doing that and message me as I am sure we can work out a better arrangement for me, you, and the coin.

You are several years too late. This one has been rolling around in a drawer for some time. It's a series 2 on a 2011 coin.

Are they numbered on the back of the hologram?

No, these are not the limited edition 1-100 version. I think I have one of the Bitcoin limited edition versions if someone is really interested in one of those.

Edit: These are not the DIY versions. They were purchased loaded by CI.

Blazed, maybe you need to start your own grading certification company for physical cryptos. You could add features like a balance check QR code, a warning alert for reports of compromised coins, and a record keeping option for chain of custody.

I did the math on this as as few of us were considering such a venture.  There is simply not enough volume (revenue) to cover operating costs (insurance, facility, admin, etc..)

Edit to add:  new label is horrible and that warning will scare away any new collectors.  The application of the hologram shows how little they care about looking professional.  Fuck ANACS!

If you are thinking in terms of a traditional corporation, yes. However, drop the idea of having a warehouse or store front and only do coin shows with grading and slabbing on site. The insurance would be covered by the promoter of the show. I believe there are ways to do this without requiring the same kind of volume that ANACS needs.

Edit: there are certifications you can get to be an appraiser for insurance purposes. I am not sure what else is really required besides demonstrating competency in consistently grading coins and having nice looking tamper-proof slabs.
