How much does one share generate? Where can I learn more about the LTCgear shares?

1 share is 100Kh of scrypt mining power for Litecoin with weekly payouts in LTC or BTC. Check out http://ltcgear.com/ltc-payments/ and https://ltcgearcalc.com/.

Last week it was 0.01357833 LTC or 0.000128994135BTC per share for one week.

how to get the CLAM with privat key Wallet?? :/ please help me..

You get 4.6 ish CLAM per each good wallet.

PLEASE BE SURE TO EMPTY THE WALLET PRIOR TO CLAIMING CLAM AND CONSIDER IT COMPROMISED AFTER!

This is an interesting idea for a new crypto, but I don't like compromising old wallets. Anyway to avoid that?

Going offline for a few hours, I'll check back late tonight. PM me if interested and I will get back to you.

Thanks for the response.

I bought a 3K0 qASIC pack and it has been in an 'on-hold' status for the last 2.5 days.  Over 158 confirmations on the payment already.  I figured that it was an oversight or something, but wanna make sure that it gets fixed before Friday :-)

E-mail Chris@ltcgear.com and in the subject headline write, "order 'on hold' but paid in full."

Hello. I'm new and I'm thinkig about:

ASIC share 3K0
ASIC Shares, 300000KHs.

Is is good to invest at the moment - will I get ROI in 5-6 weeks or not?

Thank you.

I'm buying the gen2 shares but ROI will be longer - probably twice as long. The idea is they will also be profitable for a longer period. You could also buy qASIC shares from resellers for less than at the LTCgear page.

Don't buy shares - hold on - the price will come down....

The price did go up for qASICs this week, maybe resellers will drop it a bit next week. It really matters the demand and payout. I doubt LTCgear is going to do another big promo until the 2nd gens are about to launch for real  Wink.

Did anybody choose Convert to Mods for payout? Or has anyone read how that turned out this week?

Do you have to have any previous mods bought for this to work?

I'm not sure about that either.  I have MODs but didn't choose the convert this week and haven't heard of anyone who did.

I don't believe you need to have existing MODs though.

This is the first time I have heard of the Dual Mod conversions. The current price is too high at $1200. I don't see how this is a good idea unless the price drops back to under $900.

Edit: The 2nd gen 10 packs appear to be roughly half the hashing power of Dual Mod 10. So, closer to $600 is a good price point to buy MODs from my perspective.

What do people think about buying 2nd gen ASIC shares now? Is the price likely to drop at some point before they are launched? I'm trying to decide when to sell qASIC shares to buy the new ones. I am not that confident that we will get a good deal offered for any possible upgrades.

Edit: If anyone bought 2nd gen shares and is having second thoughts, PM me if you want to trade them for an equivalent value in qASICs.

Do you think qAsics will loose its value after 2nd gen? Shouldn't they still be good for LTC? Provided difficulty doesn't shoot up.

I think they are valuable as is and will continue to be. However, I don't have the extra funds to invest the equivalent amount in another cloud mining operation. Maybe I'll just reinvest the payouts over the next few weeks but it would be easier to just trade for 2nd gen shares.

I trust Chris, he has been awesome so I bought 4 10packs of whatever it is  Wink

I think you guys are on the right track.

Instead of choosing the raw performance path - this is where the industry has been going...
Chris has decided to go the highly configurable path - leverage newest algorithms -  be the first ASIC mining new coins and algorithms and then switch to the next newest etc...

He choose flexibility over raw performance - which means we all have DUAL MOD XXX when you buy qASIC 2's today or upgrade to them in the future.

His announcement made it sound like he was going to sell these new shares separately and maybe not go the upgrade route. qASIC shares are still profitable as is but upgrading would be nice.

Paid, but what's up with the new ASICs? 10 shares only running 12Mh until Jan?

Edit: I bought two already but still 'on hold' status. I wonder which column they will show up in.
655  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: LTCgear.com, the best scrypt/scrypt n/X11 cloud mining service, ROI 2 months on: December 06, 2014, 10:59:23 AM
They should keep these new ASIC shares in stock for a while if the point is to raise money.

So, 12Mh of scrypt power for $300 until the final chip arrives?

I appreciate the offer, but just sent payment.

Can't say I wasn't warned if something goes wrong  Wink. Right now I am just waiting for vanitygen to produce a suitable address to go on the back.
657  Economy / Auctions / Re: "Mazuma" 8 inch Physical Bitcoin - Auction on: December 05, 2014, 07:28:40 PM
Are you using escrow?

I was just going to send it directly. Why, is there a reason to be concerned? If this is a scam, it is a pretty elaborate scam. I am only waiting on some mining share payments to come in so I can send the full amount at once.
658  Economy / Auctions / Re: "Mazuma" 8 inch Physical Bitcoin - Auction on: December 05, 2014, 05:12:17 PM
I hate these snipping competitions and I don't want to cause any animosity. It is up to OP if bidding stops before 12:00:00 or 12:00:59 EST. I have seen auctions run both ways. I honestly thought that OP's last call was to encourage any remaining bids until he called a winner in the auction.

Auction Ended

Winner: Pistachio @ 1.6BTC

Last call !!!

Thought auction ends 2 min ago?

It did, the darn IP address clock prevented me from posting.

Actually Pistachio was to late and ukcrypto won. If he does not pay in time, I would be happy to get a pm from you.

Anyone selling BlackFriday / Monday shares for a good price?
Is there another thread where shares are offered?

I think they're all gone. There are some good resellers with threads posted under https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=161.0 or https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=93.0.
