Congratulations everybody on the great price rise last night.
When the gods (universe, your higher self) and you decide that you need to finally learn a lesson (maths 101) the hard way, they will bring the house down on you and then really try to bring it home by doubling the value of what you have just lost, it may seem harsh but it's just tough love, they did try many, many times to get your attention in less extreme ways but you choose to disregard the hints, some none too subtle, like 'Attention, inevitable disaster ahead, take care!' type warnings. Thanks for the well wishes on the price goodness atm You'll bounce back, np, don't worry stronger & wiser not hard Thanks Otoh. I know what you are saying. I've bought as many DRK as I can afford and have received some really humbling donations from the community so I do have a stake in the race. Sadly my next payday isnt likely to be until the end of May so I've missed the opportunity to get a bigger stake while cheapish. Time will tell. As for me and Mrs Hedge, we're good. Occasionally very bitter about how much we needed what I threw away but we're at peace with each other and can only look ahead. We're going to crawl back, one DRK at a time. 1 less Dash to go!, just sent you 1.0 Dash, welcome back!

Giving up exposure on BCT is a mistake.
I wouldn't suggest leaving it all together, but to constantly refer users to dashtalk for the most accurate info at this stage of the game [re-branding and all] would not be a bad idea IMHO

These forums actually used to be fun to read... Now all I see is 'this user is ignored' and then others still fucking replying to the trolls. Let's get back on track please, for Fucks sake.
Maybe close this thread and move everything over to dashtalk on the 25th? Would make for a nice clean transition to the new branding. Just thinking out loud here... Not a bad idea! at least there wouldn't be all the confusion & misinfo spread by Trolls & Fudders. For noobs or new investors trying to learn more about Dash we need to point them over to dashtalk

Live Coverage from a multinational, multicultural, multilingual, multi-everything you can imagine, industry oriented trade show.
PACKED full of retailers, wholesalers, producers, distributers, whole industry circuit.
After a whole damn year of pushing crypto's, specifically Darkcoin because, well, no need to explain... everyone always looked side-ways! And in MOST cases I did not even mention Darkcoin, just Bitcoin!!
This time, I am absolutely ASTONISHED at the reception to Dash! GP - Hello mate, remember me from XYZ trade fair 6 months ago? dude - Ah yeah!, Kind of, of yeah I do recognised you GP - Super! Hey, have you heard of Dash ? dude - hmmm... Dash? not reeeeally... wot'iz'it? GP - Well, in a nutshell... its digital cash. dude - Oh right, yeah, we use Paypal. GP - No no ... I mean, really, digital cash, not a payment processor, like real cash, no fee's no chargebacks, no banks, no nothing. dude - wot you on about mate? (he's english) GP - Well...
I then explain the fundamentals, and he's 100% hypnotised and eating my every word, like and evangelist preaching to his cult audience.
Never, in a full year, have I had such immediate response.
+1 Bump!

Kind Reminder for DASH members...please respect other members and do not quote, feed or engage Trolls or Fudsters!
Agreed, I, and I hope all DASH members will refrain from engaging the Trolls I was drawn in by their blatant B.S. In the end DASH will speak for all of us!

LOL, so now the spork trigger is being fudded as a key to control masternodes?
1. The code for the spork trigger, which is used to keep the network from fragmenting while DRK/DASH is under heavy construction, is all in the open code, and you can see there that it does nothing but enable/disable enforcement of minimum wallet version, at least that's how I understand it, correct me if I'm wrong.-- and the previous wallet will have min. wallet enforcement from before so that a network manipulator will still be limited to how old a wallet he can use. The rest of the network will still reject bad actors.
2. This does NOT give anyone any control over any masternode, except it's owner.
3. It might continue to stay in place for some time because we're still improving the technology and it makes hard forks less risky, and the risk to the network is virtually nothing other than possibly causing masternodes to miss out on payments. This is a risk we understand, but it can not be avoided when introducing new or upgraded technology. And this very new technology is what gives DASH it's value.
Well said I'm done feeding the trolls

Trace just one darksend transaction and prove yourself. Hell I think there's even a bounty out there for this....... I was actually referring to Bitcoin being traceable not Dash, no troll here....

Darkcoin's masternodes is a centralization risk. Masternodes run on servers, servers are centralized, meaning masternodes are centralized and are a risk to the network. Even if masternodes are kept offline, there's an even higher chance of losing the masternode due to human error, accident, etc.
You actually make zero sense. Welcome to the growing ignore list. Yea, it doesn't make any sense to say that hosting a node on a centralized server, means that node is now centralized as well? Don't quit your day job. You do know they [Masternodes] can be ran on a Pi right? maybe not "Even if masternodes are kept offline, there's an even higher chance of losing the masternode due to human error, accident, etc.". It's unrealistic to even think that the majority of masternode owners would run theirs on a Raspberry PI. The majority of nodes for Bitcoin, which is the most popular cryptocurrency in existence, are not run on a Raspberry PI. #logic It's unfortunately also one of the most traceable cryptocurrencies in existence

Wasn't there some video donation address at one point? Is that still going? I'd like to donate something if it is, but I haven't seen a post on it in some time.
I think DEV paid the remainder on this.
