1  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: CRYPTSY stopping withdraw locking accounts without notifying users! Class Action on: January 20, 2016, 08:38:23 AM
I don't expect my withdraw of Magi to arrive by tomorrow morning.

Still pending. Nothing out-pendings the Cryptsy Bunny. It keeps pending...and pending...and pending.

He made this statement on twitter https://twitter.com/cryptsy/status/689659502904348673

some wallets have "opened up" whatever that means.

It means if you have 0.99999999 CLAM then you're below the withdraw limit even though in math 0.999999.... can be shown to be 1. Too bad, so sad.

Losing all that Btc Ltc If that's what happend Is very sloppy but not criminal If it was actually stolen from them.
But selling off those other currencys that don't belong to you That's criminal.
I hope Bigvern gets a big cellmate I'm sure we can hold a collection to make sure that his cellmate gets a never ending supply of Viagra.

There are cases when negligence is criminal. Whether Cryptsy's negligence was criminal I don't know but if reasonable precautions could have been made and standard practices weren't followed then I think it should be criminal.

Yesterday after Cryptsy went down and then came back up again the withdraws I made in November and December for AnonCoin were finally promoted from "pending" to "processed". However, after more than 24 hours I still haven't received the three withdraws.

Heads up: Double check all your "processed" withdraws that have been pending for several months.

Trying to figure out how to recover. Back when Dallas was on the air (1979) they had "I Shot J.R." T-shirts. Anybody want to buy a "I Stole the Cryptsy BTC" T-shirt?

Isn't there the possibility the judge could refuse to allow the bankruptcy discharge of Cryptsy to occur?

Now it seems to show hashing but 0.0 WU/m.
7  Bitcoin / Hardware / FAIL: USB get_lock not found <1:1 on: April 22, 2015, 08:37:32 AM
I'm starting to have trouble with my Gridseed again. Scrypt only seems to work fine. However, when I try to use cgminer for SHA256 only it seems to start up fine for a moment and then shows the message "FAIL: USB get-lock not found <1:1>". Can this be fixed? I'm a little worried this is a physical problem because my gridseed seems to be causing RF interference for the AM radio across the room that hasn't been there when running the gridseed scrypt only mode in the past.

And now it's off Suchpool and in the Orwellian memory hole. Well, something was dumped.

Quote And premine is horrible....  Tongue Why do you need 60% of a coin? (let me answer... dump  Cheesy )

I'm working on a conspiracy theory that it's Suchpool's competition trying to get miners over to their sites by making a pool that completely failed at the promised time.

11  Bitcoin / Hardware / Warm Gridseed GC-3355 on: April 01, 2015, 10:06:39 PM
Thanks for all your help with my last question. I've got my Gridseed working and I'm mining BitMiles and HamRadioCoins. So far, so good. The thing now is I'm not sure if too much power is going to the Gridseed. I'm using a 12V 6A power supply and the gridseed starts to get warm to the touch after running for awhile. The fan is supposed to be cooling the gridseed. Should I be concerned and use something less like a 12V 5A power supply?
12  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Power Supply for Gridseed GC-3355 on: April 01, 2015, 09:52:26 PM

okay that piece of gear will be a piece of shit garbage for bitcoin mining.

It has been modded to mine  lite coin and doge coins.  if you mine btc you will burn that gear up.

If you only purchased 1 piece for the 14 bucks you need mine ltc/doge with it not btc.  the  power supply you point to is weak.
send me a pm I will send a proper brick for mining .  also go to scrypt section and ask how to mine ltc/doge coins.

mods may move this to that section anyway.

I'm not mining for profit. I'm really just trying to learn hands-on about this technology so I don't want to put too much money into this.

That wallwart will work,IF the barrel connector is 2.1mm x 5.5mm.

Do you mean 2.5mmx 5.5 mm? I can't find 2.1mm x 5.5mm.

I am new to alt. coins. I am going to buy an ASIC miner and I've found a modified GC-3355 on eBay:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/171724850900?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

The miner needs a 12V power supply. I sent a message to the eBay seller asking if this was the kind of power supply that would work with the miner:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-Black-DC12V-2A-AC-Adapter-Power-Supply-for-5050-5630-3528-LED-Strip-24W-/191210306026?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2c8505b9ea

The eBay seller replied that it may work but recommended getting a power supply that could handle a little more power so that I wouldn't be overworking it. Can somebody recommend a power supply on eBay (or other site that I can pay using PayPal) that would be best for supplying power to the GC-3355 for bitcoin mining?
