don't use namecoin-wallet.com It's a scam. I can't even see my new coins on there, and now I have to create an entire new account. Scammers should be shot

Oh great --- now I just helped them for free. I guess I am "earning" my .0001 BTC,
|
|
|
SO, I get a random .0001 payment from this wallet 1ABq4tonjP9mSt5GMabpH3nWyQFqtfPgYq. I go to blockchain.info to see who it is and the subject website is the heading for the transaction. The entirety of the transaction header reads, "Public Note: YOUR RETURN ON INVESTMENT FROM -> LIMITLESS-BTC.COM <- You will receive next payment in .."
I know this is probably a scam, but should it concern me that they went and dug up my wallet address and advertised like this?

I even re-clocked again at 193 and used 0695 volts. Powered down for a good 30 seconds and then back on. I sacrificed about 100 GH/s, but my fans are about 20% less rpm and chips are down to 41-43 temperature. Man, I was running her so hard at first before I knew what I was doing. Poor unit. 2.5 to 2.7 TH/s and my chips were 50 temperature and 3720 cfm on all four fans. Thank you again for your help, and glad I didn't run a good unit into the ground.
My wife is also much happier with the noise greatly reduced.
Sidenote - I run a plumbing and HVAC business, so I had my shop foreman in the sheetmetal shop make me a 90 degree transition that fits over the back of the entire unit. This rectangle turns up 90 degrees and then transitions into a 6" round duct. I cut a hole in the ceiling of a large closet in my home office and run the exhaust directly into the attic. This alleviated the BTU load of the unit on my central HVAC almost entirely. The door to the closet is louvered so the unit has plenty of air. I live in Texas, so this was an important modification for me. Aside from the BTU load this also muffled the noise 90-95%.
The only issue i had was making a slot for the power cord, so I lose a little exhaust with that, but it is negligible.
If anyone wants a picture I can take one. This application has really worked well .... for the home hobbyist.

The x's on the ASIC chain status row #1 turned up almost instantly when I clocked back to 200.
I just now clocked back from 225 to 200 and set voltage at 0705. Seems to be doing great now! Thank You.
That thing was really cranked up at 225 and 0725. High fan CFM and high temps (49-50). I feel much better now. It sounds better and not so loud and hot. Hashing at 1.9 TH/s in lieu of 2.2 - 2.5. All o's.
Thank you, sir!!

My S4 dropped the first ASIC board when I underclocked to 200. Started by showing x's in seven places, then eventually turned to all dashes under ASIC #1 status.
I reclocked at 225 and 0740 volts and everything is back up and running at all o's. She is running great, but I am worried that I am running her too hard. 2.5 TH/s on average. EDIT - She runs at up to 3 TH/s for long periods at this frequency. I just checked and this worries me.
Will I destroy the S4 at these rates? If I underclock, is there anyway to keep all 4 ASICs running properly?

Oh no, I have my miners linked directly to the same router that my ISP comes into. I just tried to extend that same wireless signal to the rest of my house ... the extender did not play well with my network. I tried the wireless crap for a couple days and it aggravated me worse than anything. Outages and inconsistency were awful, so I moved my modem & router into the same room as my miners. Thanks again for the replies! Happy mining to y'all

Thanks for everyone's help. I did a reboot from the GUI and that did the trick. Also, I tried to add a network extender to my wireless signal and that thing played havoc with my internet connection. I unplugged the extender, rebooted everything, and then even added my new (used) S4! I have been hashing at over 3TH/s all night.
The network extender, and the internet intermittance it was causing, was most likely the cause of all my angst.
Happy hashing gentlemen!
This S4 is like some women I have been with ---- HOT and LOUD. LOL

I can do that when I get back home. I am back in the office now. Thanks for trying to take a look for me! I will post back in a few hours.

Yes, it is a second hand miner, and nothing new on my desktop. This news is not so good .... oh well. Thanks for the reply. Now the miner is showing 0 hash when I look at it on my pool. If I look at my network I can see the miner on the network as active. I'll have to tinker with it tonight I guess.

I am mining on an Antminer C1, and have been for a few weeks. My has rate has always been right at the capacity of the machine --> 1 TH/s. The past 24 hours my hash rate has been down to 750 GH/s. I rebooted the miner, reset my router and reset my modem. Still running 750 GH/s. The miner status shows all o's.
Could this be a virus? If not, then what do you think?
Thanks!

Thanks for the replies! I was making sure that it wasn't 27% and I was losing 1/4th of my hashing or something. I haven't gotten my first electricity bill yet and my wife and I have a joke/bet running that I will or will not profit. My rate is very cheap, don't know what it is exactlty off hand, but I remember before taxes it was 1.1 cents per kWH. She just thinks I am a nerd LOL. At any rate we are having fun. My kids run to my office with me to look at the "Giga-Hasher" and see if we hit another block yet. To make it look better I switched my wallet to mBTC units, and we watch the number grow and then go talk smack to momma. I am on the road for business, and need to look at what my total cost per kWH is. BTW - I am adding two more TH/s when I get back on Friday. I bought an S4 unit and it delivered yesterday. Just hope the PSU and fans are OK. Seller says they are, but we shall see. Price was excellent compared to three months ago. We appreciate you all having us!

Another noob question, if you have the patience.
My worker shows .269% invalid. What does this mean? (worker = mirahan)
Anticipated thanks. Just trying to learn. It seems I am very slow to catch on to all this. Trying to read as much as I can, but ugh.

Yeah ... something woke me up last night. like double tap cannon fire or something. Block! finally. Awaiting confirm ... Confirmed - just under 400%

I like to review the dates of 3/23/15 and 3/27/15 on the block history. We are due! Then it will hit again quickly. Noob optimism, I know.

Thanks, Kano. I just updated to mirahan_worker a moment ago. Hashing away! Thank You, sir! I will change it when I get back home to my network. Wake up to a block, get to work and another! Noob Question Alert
If I set up my account with username "Mirahan" and have my miner set up to mine to BTC Address 1G89H4qjVgtTt6PBzSAdvGu11pBi9RhrRc_worker, and I have BTC address properly entered into "mirahan" account setting, am I all set to go?
When I look at the pool stats my BTC address shows ~1 TH/s on average, so I see that I am contributing.
Just want to make sure I haven't fouled up my set up somehow and should be using account username as worker address in miner interface.
I love this stuff, glad I started ... but I know I am late the party. Still fun tho!
you want to use your username as the worker for example: Mirahan_worker1 You can mine using your BTC address like that, but you wont be able to use all the tools the webpage has to offer. Also the payout generation will combine both the address account and the username account into one line in the wallet payout transaction, if the username account has the same payout address. So even if the total in one is dust but the other isn't dust, the combined value is what is checked to decide if it is a dust payout.

I wound up not having to reset. Got the miner on my primary router and the IP address was different than what the seller told me somehow. I found the unit on my network and simply navigated to it. Mining to Kano's pool right now at right at ~1,000 GH/S
Thanks for the help! Glad I didn't have to reset!
