Same thing for Lyra2v2 hashrates here. Kept falling, now my balance has been stagnating for the past hours. Something is wrong.

I thought it might be temporary but the past hours have been under-reporting badly, is this normal? It surely seems not. I thought it could be normal that the reported rates might be off a little but now that's a big offset we see here...

Wow looks pretty good! I'm impressed! That's exactly what I'm looking for to building!

Must be performing well with all these Vegas! I heard they are very efficient.

Would you mind sharing what motherboard you are using?

Do you think a BIOSTAR TB250-BTC would work?

https://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813138449&cm_re=BIOSTAR_TB250-BTC%2b-_-13-138-449-_-Product

Somebody recommended me a BIOSTAR TB250-BTC+ but the lesser version cost way less so I'm curious.

https://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIAEGN6MV1417&cm_re=BIOSTAR_TB250-BTC%2b-_-9SIAEGN6MV1417-_-Product

Thanks for the help!

That's it! I had enough! I am switching to mining pool hub! Too many bugs with zpool. I was mining all day for a few cents! I was mining with 120 MH/s and the pool reported only 1-2 MH/s.

On zpools wallet page it is reporting on 5 GH/s when on Cgminer i can see it is 55 MH/s?Huh

So far so good on my end.. I had a few hiccups that lasted a few seconds but otherwise it's okay for me.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Looking forward building a 6xGPUs altcoin mining rig on: December 11, 2017, 10:12:56 PM
Hi,

I've been mining with my gaming rig for a few years and it's been a fun way to pay for games and gift cards from various suppliers to order online and now I'm looking forward building a custom mining rig for mining on altcoins pools such as MiningPoolHub and ZCoin.

1) I wanted some advice on what's currently the best bang for the buck rig to start with? Most particularly GPU-wise? I read and heard from friends GTX 1070 were a good spot but I'm pretty sure there's less expensive alternative.

2) Also what do you suggest to use as a rack? I'd like it to be as portable as possible so I can move it somewhere else once it's ready and stable.

3) AMD vs NVIDIA? Is there really a difference performance-wise and money-wise?

Any advice, suggestion or tips are welcome!

Thanks and have a nice day.

Stability goes on and off today as well?

I hope not.

I've not said anything, to avoid jinxing it but I *think* things are settling in now. Very minimal db errors now and very few spontaneous stratum resets.

Thanks for the reply, so far so good it seems stable on my end  Grin

Pretty sure it's down during the update. Don't know when it will be back up though. I wish this would be announced somewhere...

Same thing here, just switched my miners to MPH since every now and then I looked at the status and saw connection refused. Happened often in the last two days or so... Might be due to the higher loads since the NiceHash hack?
9  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: GekkoScience Compac BM1384 Stickminer Official Support Thread on: March 07, 2017, 10:32:43 PM
Hey, just found out about that stick. I was thinking about buying an old Antminer S5 from a friend for 125 bucks but from what I read these tiny little sticks performs pretty fast? I read between 8-15 G/h. Where's the catch?

What do you mine with these and how much of it do you mine daily/monthly? Thanks!

No wonder they had super deals in the last weeks. They wanted to cash in the most possible.

Glad I didn't fell for those deals and also glad that I got more than my money back before they got away.

Still this sucks.

13  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Scamming and lying] The user Jstarc on: April 23, 2015, 06:34:29 PM
For what it's worth, all I see here is somebody who bought something they didn't get informed enough about before making the transaction, got the bad side of "taking a small risk of buying a cheap key on the internet", noticed that it was not what he expected and backed off by accusing the seller.

Also from what I'm reading it seems that there's no way of "maturely" talking with this person. Just accept the fact that you purchased something on impulse, accept the replacement key the seller offers you and stop crying.

I purchased a key from him and it's been working great so far. Yes it's from an "unknown" source, it might stop working but hey that's what you get for 5 bucks! When something is "too good to be true" it's often not exactly the "real deal". It doesn't mean that the seller is a "retard".
14  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [Selling] Cheap Microsoft Product Keys - 1337keystore.com on: April 23, 2015, 06:22:57 PM
All the accusations thrown against you are total bollocks, I've been a long time seller myself and it costs me close to nothing to keep my refund guarantee, and it wouldn't cost OP much either. Most of the time when it's in regards to refunds, it's mostly human error as you sometimes need very specific ISO files and such, or activate the key before installing service packs and such.

Thanks for supporting me. I appreciate it big time mate.

I don't know why people are so butthurt about this. I just bought a Windows 8.1 key and it worked flawlessly!

Personally I don't care if it stops working after a year or what not, for 5 bucks I have genuine install of windows with no crappy KMS service or any kind of malware dumped into it like the popular torrented ISOs.

I recommended your website to my friends so they can get off crappy pirated versions and finally have a real version of office, etc. Keep it up!
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Altcoins Miners Questions on: April 22, 2015, 09:25:35 PM
Hi,

I've been mining QubitCoins, Quarkcoins, X11 and X13 for a week and started to look at the possibility to get a small mining device to make it independent from my GPU since I don't want it to burn after a year.

I saw all kind of miners but quickly found out that miners like Antminers are for SHA256 only so I couldn't use them for my purpose. Then I found about USB miner stating that can do altcoins like this one http://www.amazon.com/DualMiner-USB-Gridseed-Litecoin-Dogecoin/dp/B00J5TK6RE#product-description-iframe

I'm sure those are pretty shitty but I thought I'd ask about it: is there usb miners compatible with x11/x13,/etc? Is there bigger miners compatible with these too?

USB miners like Antminer U3 sure looks awesome and powerful, unfortunately if they're sha256 only they're useless to me...

I read that X11 was developed to prevent big ASICs from blowing it up so I'm kind of confused right now about what should work and what shouldn't.

Any comments?

Thanks!
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Free Profit on Altcoin on: April 21, 2015, 08:45:03 PM
Sorry to crush into the thread but I'm a noob and I've been mining altcoins for few days having fun and got about 1$ (wow lol)

But now that I've mined a variety of coins I've started to wonder about exchange. When you say you've bought x coins and sold them for y coins how do you do it?

I mean, is there a website for this? How do you convert a coin into another type of coin?

I really want to get into this, I'm having a lot of fun and I could see myself enjoying the exchange game.

Please enlighten me! Thanks a lot everybody
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Miner Control 1.6.1 - Auto profit switching miner controller on: April 21, 2015, 06:55:14 PM
I really like the idea, good job!

I'm having one problem though. When I try to run sgminer from within your app I get:

Quote
[14:39:12] Starting YAAMP X13 with sgminer.exe -k x13 -o stratum+tcp://yaamp.com:3633 -u 1Bj1zjvfMhrgJJVG22bnnB7JTbKUGVUyV6 -p x

[14:39:12] Global quota greatest common denominator set to 1
LINES value must be >= 2 and <= 114: got -30272
initscr(): Unable to create SP
[14:39:12] Dead YAAMP X13

But when I run the command itself "sgminer.exe -k x13 -o stratum+tcp://yaamp.com:3633 -u 1Bj1zjvfMhrgJJVG22bnnB7JTbKUGVUyV6 -p x" it runs fine.

My guess is that's a .NET error: LINES value must be >= 2 and <= 101: got -30272 / initscr(): Unable to create SP. So have I stumbled on a bug?

Any idea? Thanks!

EDIT: Somebody talked about a -T flag that fixed this a few months ago:

I'm getting this error. bat tested directly doesn't gives error, only with Miner Control

20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][AUTO-SWITCH] Profit-switch auto-exchange pool: CleverMining.com on: April 21, 2015, 02:18:58 PM
Hi!

I was wondering if it's normal that on my client I see: http://d.pr/i/kLCC ~625Mh/s but on the website I see that I mine at 18.6Kh/s. Why the difference? Is it normal?

Also I see this in the real time chart: http://d.pr/i/13mEb is it supposed to be my hash rate in real time shown there?

Finally, I'm mining with the same BTC address from two different computers. Does this matter? Is it wrong or should I use separate addresses?

Thanks!

What I can find about that software is that it's for mining bitcoin. Am I right? Or are you using the GUIMiner scrypt version?

And 18 kh/s is low but not a weird number for using a low-end GPU Smiley

My problem was that I was trying to mine the wrong coin with the wrong algorithm. As soon as I switched to the right kernel/algo I've got 3Mh/s and started getting blocks, etc.

Thanks !
