2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Moolah/Mintpal V2.0 Scam Thread on: October 22, 2014, 08:22:42 PM
After reading this (http://pastebin.com/VYpQ5CWA) I think I have a pretty good idea what this Ryan guy is trying to do.

From everything that I got he was interested in developing a payment system/atm system similar to paypal for crypto currencies. A few things stuck out to me when I read the conversations.

1) Payment system (moo pay or w/e you wanna call it at this point)

2) ATM Machines

3) Copy of Bitcoin made in another language (red flag)

From my experience in technology and business this is my take on what he has done and is trying to do in the future. What reason would someone need a clone of Bitcoin? Especially if they are running a payment company? This is a huge red flag. It looks like he is trying to setup a fraudulent payment company where people buy fake BTC that exist only in this payment system. Any BTC or $ that is transferred into the system gets deposited directly into his pocket and the victim is given a fake balance that only is reflected in the payment system. Wouldn't people be able to tell? If done right not at all. If a payment is made from one account to another that use the same payment system then its virtually undetectable. If someone makes a payment to a real BTC address then that is paid out legitimately as to go undetected same with withdrawals. Eventually if the company grows big enough more and more of the BTC will be logged in the fake BTC system while all the real BTC has been taken out (stolen).

This is a very complex con, similar to a bank to a degree.

I believe the mintpal transition was a test run if not a complete switch over to a fake BTC system. This would explain why people have balances but can't withdrawal them. The mintpal transition should have realistically only taken a few hours not days which would explain that there were probably bugs in the fake system that had to be addressed.

My warning would be to be very cautious about any new payment systems of any sorts popping up within the next year. It will more than likely be him implementing above plan.

I also forgot to mention it would also explain why he purchased such a large quantity of miners, how else are you gonna keep a fraudulent BTC network running? I'm surprised no one has responded about this....

XAL? Really... you might as well name it any random combination of letters at that point. Try WIC, WHI, WCO, etc. Keep the main identifying factor in the abbreviation.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Mintpal V2 Launch Tomorrow on: October 08, 2014, 02:24:30 PM
I'm not happy with this upgrade. The old Mintpal worked fine. Why did they feel the need to upgrade I have no idea. The old saying goes, if it isn't broke then don't fix it. So we got "upgraded" to a platform that looks worse, doesn't work, and is buggy. I honestly don't get it.

Remember kids, what comes up must come down. I wanna thank tw0r for the 3.5BTC I made from his attempt at a pump & dump. This isn't natural growth, this is greed from one individual (who btw claimed all of his coins got "hacked" a few months ago and asked for donations, yet his address is still active on the rich list) I'm happy for WC and the progress it has made, I honestly didn't think it would last this long.

Don't fall for the fake bullrush.

I might know someone who just made a large BTC withdraw, they might be planning to buy some Whitecoins. But you didn't hear anything from me

What a great sign!  Glad we have so many random comments being made to bury the true progress.  Never had this when I was trying to get BeatleCoin off the ground Smiley

There is no progress, there hasn't been any progress for months. You need to stop the charades and lying to people. I really want to see the potential in this coin but it's simply not there.

You have donated to carry out these improvements (as do many of us)?
Or maybe you expect rain down from the sky?

I will gladly donate when we have actually contacted and contracted a real programmer.

It's been months and nothing has been done. Just the same usually circle jerk. lol I don't know how you people can be so naive. I bet if you actually used the funds to pay a programmer and didn't hoard them then maybe mindfox would actually give two shits about this coin. I can't take you people seriously anymore. and no I'm not gonna fall for the charades and waste my time trying to help this community. I already tried and it's a joke at best. The sooner WC gets delisted, the sooner we can forget about this nightmare and move on.

No this isn't "fud", its a kick in the ass to snap out of it. When there is no dev team and two baghol.. I mean community leaders then you have to really take a second look at your investment. The coin has nothing to offer, it has no features, no development team. Basically everything that makes a coin valuable isn't here. If your expecting mr. salisbury "press releases" to take you to the moon then I you deserve to lose your BTC.

/end rant

What's promising about this coin right now?

Currently its a stale mate and its losing a bit of steam. The community has lots of drive and great ideas but no ways of executing them, so its kind of going nowhere. That's the honest truth, I've been here since day one.

Ownski just sell your stake to my 95sat buy order and goooo from this forum.

Wanna play in the pool with the big fish?
