1  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Madness! The Iranians Get to Self Inspect in Secret Side Deal on: August 20, 2015, 05:05:35 PM
Has the IAEA ever entered into an inspection and verification agreement with any other country previously where the country inspected itself?

No, this is what Obama meant by "unprecedented verification".
2  Other / Politics & Society / Re: ‘Hamas-Israel deal imminent,’ to the dismay of Palestinian factions on: August 18, 2015, 06:17:23 PM
Israelis do not want Gazan workers any more.
They can go work in Egypt if they want, but they are not welcome in Israel anymore.

Gazan will get peace for peace. If they want war, Israel will react accordingly.
All this Turkey talk is just wishful thinking, nothing to do with Israel.
3  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Jeb Bush POTUS campaign appears dead in the water on: August 16, 2015, 06:12:00 PM
B-But then they'd have . . . nothing. Hahahahahahaha . . . sweet!

So the huge crowds of Democrats that are showing up at Sander's events are figments of our collective imagination?
4  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Obama announces stronger action on U. S. power plants on: August 04, 2015, 05:41:02 PM

No matter the acronym of choice, what is the solution to replacing coal for energy? What is it? Will this be in place and running efficiently by fall 2015? How much is this going to cost each consumer, not just the "rich" ones?

I thought the Earth was entering a cooling phase?

Well sunshine and rainbows and the butterflies that fly out of Obama's ass will replace coal. But all kidding aside, Obama probably didn't know about this policy until he read about it in the paper.
5  Other / Politics & Society / Re: DNC Chair can't tell difference between a Democrat and a socialist on: August 01, 2015, 05:06:18 PM
Not sure whats come over Matthews, but I liked it. And of course she couldn't give an answer on the difference....they're the same thing with different banners. Camaro vs Firebird lol.

Im guessing fear of losing his job for being too left has caused him to move to the oreilly format.
6  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Supreme Leader of Iran Tweets Photo of President Obama Pointing a Gun to his Hea on: July 27, 2015, 05:05:46 AM
On the surface, the scene you guys are yapping about is simply, A WARNING:
Don't be treacherous with Iran as you have been to Iraq, Libya, Syria and other countries.

Obama, with both hands tied behind his back, head butts the GOP out of the ring.

UN Security Council has endorsed the Iran deal which now renders the decision of USA congress as irrelevant because trade with Iran is now permissible.

This will be a big boost for world trade, although USA is not likely to gain from the trade boost because of residual hostility of Iran to USA.

The big gain Obama received form this was to have the GOP-led Congress rendered impotent consequent to UNSC declaration.

Obama smashes GOP out of the ring again.

The Americans will get their fair share out of the deal.
8  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Marijuana helps broken bones heal faster, a new study has found. on: July 21, 2015, 04:04:48 AM
It can't make me smarter. Such stupid statements of studies just prove how fool and naive smokers are to believe these studies.
I smoke weed some times and I felt becoming slower at my mental activity. I am sure weed is not for me...
9  Other / Politics & Society / Re: UCLA provides internship opportunities to illegal immigrants on: July 16, 2015, 06:02:55 PM
They might not need one in CA. It wouldn't surprise me.

No Kidding. How can any legit business hire anyone without a SS#? Internship. Where I work you have to be at least a junior in college, have to apply, face a
background check, drug test, and usually a recommendation from someone internal. Basically no one where I work wants to risk someone stealing anything, disrespecting anyone and where all the interns are related to associates it guarantees the best.
10  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is a mini ICE AGE on the way? Scientists warn the sun will 'go to sleep' on: July 12, 2015, 05:18:04 PM
"The Earth could be headed for a 'mini ice age' researchers have warned.

A new study claims to have cracked predicting solar cycles - and says that between 2020 and 2030 solar cycles will cancel each other out.

This, they say, will lead to a phenomenon known as the 'Maunder minimum' - which has previously been known as a mini ice age when it hit between 1646 and 1715, even causing London's River Thames to freeze over."

So what happened to Global Warming going to kill us off? Yes there is climate change, some man made but the rest.

I'm sure humans will somehow be blamed for it even so. It's part of the agenda.
11  Other / Politics & Society / Re: South Carolina House votes to remove Confederate flag from state house grounds. on: July 09, 2015, 02:55:26 PM
I guess that whole massacre-black-folks-at-church thing didn't tun out as planned for the master racers. It might - just might, possibly, maybe, perhaps - be that the vast and overwhelming number of Americans thought it was a horrible and terrible thing and that they don't hate their fellow citizens as much as some on this board would like to think. But I'm sure that the storm frontiers here obsessed with AF-Ams will just chalk it up to political correctness run amok and imposed by ( fill in conspiratorial blank). I've noticed a doubling (or more. If that is possible) of "blacks-are-bad and blacks-victimizing-whites" threads on this site since the Charleston massacre. Utterly predictable.

15  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Secular vs religious marriage and other rights, Poly etc. on: July 06, 2015, 09:39:20 AM
Should the government end the marriage thing as we know it?
No, keep it as an option for all citizens. As has been pointed out elsewhere, laws have been written that apply only to married people, the two examples that immediately come to mind is a spouse not being forced into testifying against the other spouse and rights to SS payments.

Should we go to contractual agreements only- without the current "default" we have now?
Same as above. How would one contract for SS payments or claim the right to not testify? I don't think it can be done. You don't get to write your own laws without going through the appropriate legislature.

As for people living in polygamous communes, go ahead. Just don't expect to have rights such as child support, alimony payments, and whatever other rights there are to marriage and its subsequent dissolution. In the common vernacular, you're shaking up. It's an informal thing that might involve contracts but usually doesn't.

Neither of those are necessary. If marriage were abolished, then those laws wouldn't necessarily even need to be amended. The condition would simply no longer be met. Ditto for testimony. Things which should be considered in the discussion on whether to abolish marriage, but certainly not conditions that make abolishing it either difficult or impossible. The benefits, like any other benefits associated with being married, would simply cease.

I asked a Chinese girl for her number. She said, "Sex! Sex! Sex! Free sex tonight!" I said, "Wow!" Then her friend said, "She means 666-3629."
