1  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [30+PH] Kano CKPool kano.is 0.9% PPLNS US,DE,SG,JP,NL on: December 09, 2016, 05:25:04 PM
Sorry,

The explanation was on my last post.
The normal speed that I had in Kano was 19Th/s when I installed the S9 in Kano with the first version of firmware it went to 32Th/s, but when I made the firmware upgrade in the S9 went to 23Th/s, so Kano with the second version of firmware of the S9 only gives at maximum 5Th/s as Slush is giving the full 13Th/s with the same miner and configuration.

All the best,

Geotete
Just made the experience, I only sent the S9 to the Slush Pool and there I have the 13T.

But in Kano pool the best is 5T:
http://www.dfagundes.com/ebay/outros/CKPoolS9.jpg

The image from slush is showing 13Th/s, but you are showing the image from kano.is which is showing 19Th/s for a while then 32Th/s for a while, the 23Th/s for a while, Then you say kano.is is only giving you 5Th/s, so I'm not sure what you trying to say or compare?  Huh

Hi,

I'm having a small problem and I would like to know if anyone one can help me?
I have a s9 working on the Kano CKpool, when it was using the firmware version1 it as at "full speed" on the pool, but when I made the upgrade to the firmware v2 the speed went down:

but in the miner the speed is at full speed:

Can anyone help me with this?

All the best,

Geotete

Well considering you are mining to 3 different places at the same time, there's no way you'd be able to work out reliably what the numbers should be at just one of them Tongue

Your miner shows it's mining to 3 places, so of course the first one wont have all the hash rate.

Also if any of those other 2 are not BTC (or are *hash) then you can expect more problems.

I removed the names, but they are all at Kano except the ports that are different ex:443, 8080, just as insurance.

I know this type of project is right up your alley and you've already pulled the trigger so to speak but you seem to be the perfect candidate for having your S7s hosted in a data center.  Good luck and I hope it all works out for you so you can get all of your machines pointed towards Kano!

Yes, I'm pulling the trigger.  I'm just the type of guy who prefers to do it themselves.  If anything were to go wrong with a rig, there is no one to blame buy myself or the manufacturer [Depending on what went wrong].  I feel better not being concerned about if anything went wrong, would I be compensated for the loss of a rig(s).  I've seen too many horror stories for me to risk 78 or more rigs potentially getting lost, stolen, burned up, etc... then hope they had insurance that would take care of it IN AN EFFICIENT AND TIMELY MANNER.

There are good hosting centers I might consider trusting in the future, such as, Toomin, sidehack, or Oregon Miners.  That's about it.  In the mean time, I intend to keep going here till I reach 600 amp demand and cannot add anymore.  THEN, I will see about hosting the rest afterwards.  The price savings between keeping them for myself verses hosting is very little difference IMHO.  At least during the winter.  At present, my revenue is 4 times my power costs.

EDIT:  BY THE WAY, Good job finding that block on kano.is

dmwardjr sir I can see that youre experienced in bitcoin and bitcoin mining.
I plan on buying the S7 Batch 8. I live in Macedonia so the estimated shipping is $150 for the miner and the PSU. I want to ask you what the life span of the S7 is, without overclocking. So I pay $1450 for miner and PSU, $150 for shipping, $80 for electricity each month. Will it be profitable now or in the future?
I just got into bitcoin, dont know much.

Hi, again,

Since mine is a late batch 5, here it goes:
All the values, are in a controlled temperature room, at a steady 14ºC all year around, with a humidity of 60%.
I don't know the power consumption, but I have 2x 1250w HP PSU, powering the S7.
The values, are a average calculated, at 48 hours each.

Since, I don't know how to interpreter this values, your help is appreciated!
I don't know if have any gain in going at more than 625...

Hi,

That's was what I was following:
https://github.com/nwoolls/MultiMiner/wiki/Network-Devices
anyway thanks!
This is the minera without any change in the S5's:

And this is the directory of the S5:

The most "similar" file is the "cgminer.sh" and even that one has nothing inside.
I'm using the "vi" to edit the files.

All the best,

Hi,

I followed the tutorials for the SSH in a Antminer S1 and S3 for my S5 but with no success!
All I get is this:

Can someone with a S5 explain how to do it?

All the Best,

Geotete

Anyone?
