following this
forv those intrsted i have BFG 5.3 running in minera replacing BFG and not using the custom folder..

till it is fixed you have to compile it from the Zip file, i also did a manual install of minera from a fresh install, so you may need to change some paths or use the over write commands if you use the pre installed image.

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade
sudo apt-get -y install git-core build-essential autoconf automake libtool pkg-config libcurl4-gnutls-dev libjansson-dev uthash-dev libncursesw5-dev libudev-dev libusb-1.0-0-dev libevent-dev libmicrohttpd-dev libc-bin

cd
sudo wget http://luke.dashjr.org/programs/bitcoin/files/bfgminer/5.3.0/bfgminer-5.3.0.zip
sudo unzip bfgminer-5.3.0.zip
sudo rm -r bfgminer-5.3.0.zip
sudo mv /home/pi/bfgminer-5.3.0 /home/pi/bfgminer

cd /home/pi/bfgminer

sudo chmod +x ./configure
sudo ./configure CFLAGS="-O3" --enable-scrypt --enable-broad-udevrules

sudo make

sudo ldconfig
lsusb

./bfgminer --version

This should copy it to minera as bfg 5.3

cd /home/pi/bfgminer
sudo cp bfgminer /var/www/minera/minera-bin/bfgminer

./bfgminer --version

changed the /home/pi/ to home/minera

also did sudo cp bfgminer /var/www/minera/minera-bin/custom/bfgminer-5.3.0/

seemed to work for my compac's

is there anyone here who has figured out how to get any decent hash rates using bfgminer or cgminer on a gblade black trying to get a miner that supports exonance to rent out hash powers of my rigs however minera seems to hate using anything other than cpu miner for these asics maybe im stupid and there is an obvious answer but any help would be appreciated

Hi,

I followed the tutorials for the SSH in a Antminer S1 and S3 for my S5 but with no success!
All I get is this:
http://dfagundes.com/Foruns/vi_edit.jpg
Can someone with a S5 explain how to do it?

All the Best,

Loo at this https://github.com/nwoolls/MultiMiner/wiki/Network-Devices#antminer-s3

Probably S5 is the same and the config is in
Code:
/etc/init.d/cgminer

Hi,

That's was what I was following:
https://github.com/nwoolls/MultiMiner/wiki/Network-Devices
anyway thanks!
This is the minera without any change in the S5's:
http://dfagundes.com/Foruns/Mineranochange.jpg
And this is the directory of the S5:
http://dfagundes.com/Foruns/inside.jpg
The most "similar" file is the "cgminer.sh" and even that one has nothing inside.
I'm using the "vi" to edit the files.

For minera follow this https://github.com/michelem09/minera/wiki/Network-mining-devices That's for multiminer and right now till bFG 5.4 comes out the only software miner that works inside or with a S5 and stays after reboot is CG miiner . BFG has a test version out for S5 's that works but the working non beta version is  due this weekend luke said  Muntiminer will work with S5's as a monitor mostly same as minera.  to be honest Ive been tiring to figure out what your tiring, so i guess it's best to ask at this point .

SSH into the AntMiner S5 the user is root and the password is admin

I love the look of this hopefully I can figure it out for my S4 when it arrives.

I was gutted to see that the mobile app has stopped. Is there anyone picking this up?

honestly, I'm not having any issue with my Gblack it runs 24/7 if I let it at 25 to 27 MH with exonance enabled with BFG 5.4 in place of the 5.1 i think is default in minera , i have posted how before . i can use a proxy or just minera I'm fine .

Hi Folks - I'm running some Antminer U3s and a Blackarrow X-1 at home.  The X-1 is connected on my network and the U3s are connected to an RPi with Minera.  I can find the X-1 when I hit search but it only shows as offline with no corresponding info in the dashboard.  Am I doing something wrong?

Michelle,
I cannot get minera to work on a raspberry 2
first try, manual install following your instructions on a dietpi install
<IP>/ would give the placeholder, /minera gave a 404
waited a few days after posting on here, then put vanilla minera latest on it
That wouldn't boot, nothing looks out of whack from my laptop. Looking at the logs, the last thing logged was it shutting down 11:53 july 21st, no sign of my boot attempt. The green light flickered a bit during boot attempt. I don't have an hdmi monitor to see if it is falling into emergency.
I just now tried a vanilla latest raspbian and again getting 404 on /minera after following your manual install instructions, cue more swearing. Placeholder on /

I really need to get this up in the next few days, is there a known working minera for raspberry 2 anywhere?

I have just tried to download the official image and run it on a RPI2, it works like a charm.

Check you are flashing it correctly, check what the RPI does when boot up (connect it to your TV you should have an HDMI). Check you don't have a corrupted SD Card (change it). It must work.

Sorry I'm a little confused.

I have an antminer s4 which has an internal controller. I'm unsure if this is a rasperry pi or not?

But I believe it's treated as a network miner so it doesn't need to have minera installed?

If I only have a network miner do I need to phsyically install minera anywhere? If so how?

And if not what do I need to do?

EDIT - So do I just install a normal firmware to a seperate SD card then install it there and then change SD cards in the controller?
