1  Economy / Currency exchange / Selling 1 BTC at stamp+3% by BofA cash deposit on: June 08, 2014, 08:28:21 PM
We can use DannyHamilton for escrow. Price will be determined at 10pm Eastern. BTC will be released when the deposit clears. I will send you a custom deposit slip with preprinted account information.

Reply, PM me, ping me on Skype (tsrkeith), or ping me on Google (tk@tkeith.com).
2  Economy / Services / Re: EXCHANGE SOFTWARE - 100% AUTOMATED INCLUDING DEPOSIT DETECTION on: June 02, 2014, 02:51:00 PM
That shows us nothing though. I want to see HOW it works before I buy it, not afterward.

What don't you understand?

I'm happy to answer questions and show any details to anyone who's interested.

Is it just an app/software doing all the work? What price are you selling for?

Yes, this is software. I'm not sure what your question is. The whole process is automated by this software, including logging into a BofA account to check for cash deposits that have cleared.

The specific price will depend on any customizations required.

If you're legit, I think you should call it a exchange. That's the professional name for it.

An exchange is a site that pairs buyers and sellers of an asset. This software does not do that -- it sells directly to the buyer and sources elsewhere.

No offense, but how would you respond to security breach caused by flaw in your software? I would be very carefull as this is imho legal tender (you offer software to work with real money)

That's an unfortunate risk of running any publicly-accessible asset-handling software -- Bitcoin related or not. I can assure you that this software was built with security as the number one priority. I'm confident enough that I'm running it live.

Prove it. Show us.

Not him, but he linked:  https://bit24coin.com earlier.  It is his site

Yep, that's it, thanks. I added the link to the original post.
5  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Need $200 usd in BTC on: June 01, 2014, 04:10:56 PM
Hi, I'm looking to get about $200 in btc.  Since i'm new here i'd like to use a escrow if possible to protect both buyer/seller. I can do vanilla, moneypak, wu/mg, or a boa deposit on Monday. Please pm or post rate used and any fees. If possible i'd like to do this Sun. morning (EDT), or Monday morning for Boa deposit.

I can sell you $200 via BofA cash deposit at Bitstamp +5% w/ DannyHamilton as escrow.

I dont think anybody will be taking your Ad seriously and you will probably be labled as a scammer in the next 5 hours or so.
Firstly your account is a newbie and without any prior sale or description of the software no one is going to believe you and just send you money.
You will probably have to give a description, demo, other information before you even start asking for money.
Just giving you a heads up buddy. This routine has been done way too many times before.

Goodluck

Thanks for the feedback! This isn't an "off the shelf" software product - I don't even have a set price.

I described the product briefly in the first post. I'm happy to demo it to anyone who's interested.

I'm also glad to answer any questions that you or anyone else have.

I have it running for my own sales at https://bit24coin.com but I'm more interested in licensing out the software.
10  Economy / Services / EXCHANGE SOFTWARE - 100% AUTOMATED INCLUDING DEPOSIT DETECTION on: May 29, 2014, 09:11:24 PM
I have built a web application to facilitate the sale of Bitcoins to clients. The complete process is automated, including automatically detecting cash deposits in a BofA account and crediting customers. When a customer requests a quote, it looks up the current Coinbase price and adds a certain percent (for example 5%), and when a customer makes a purchase it simultaneously purchases Bitcoins from Coinbase to eliminate price change risk.

The app is currently running live processing real transactions at https://bit24coin.com

I am willing to license this software under negotiated terms. If interested, PM me here.
11  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Selling BTC via BofA Cash at +5% on: May 24, 2014, 03:01:50 PM
I'm selling Bitcoins via Bank of America cash deposits. The entire process is automated, so the minimum purchase is only $5. Deposits are processed when the cash deposit clears, which is usually the next day (if the deposit is made during normal bank hours Mon-Fri).

My website is: https://bit24coin.com

Questions? Reply, or email me at info@bit24coin.com

Since I'm new, I'll also sell at the same price through a trusted escrow on the list: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=276897.0

at your website still high fees "Our fee is approximately 10%."  Shocked

Sorry, that's incorrect, I updated the calculation on the site but forgot to update that text. If you actually do a price quote on the site and compare it to Bitstamp, it will be only 5%.

I'll update the text right now.

You can either buy from my site OR I'll trade manually through a trusted escrow!

14  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Business idea: Cell phone service for Bitcoin -- What do you think? on: May 13, 2012, 09:52:52 PM
Until about two months ago, there had been many requests for this type of service, but nobody offering it.

Now there is:

I guess I'm a bit late to be the first to offer prepaid refills for Bitcoin. But the links you posted are all refill codes only for multiple providers. Do you think there would be a demand for a business offering cell phones as well as the associated prepaid refills, which would be more integrated and convenient for customers, for a slightly higher price?
15  Other / Beginners & Help / Business idea: Cell phone service for Bitcoin -- What do you think? on: May 13, 2012, 09:22:10 PM
Hello everyone,

I am a software developer/consultant and a small business owner. I am involved in a couple of businesses that sell prepaid cell phone service in the US. I have been reading a lot about Bitcoin recently and it seems like an ideal currency to couple with prepaid cell phone service since both have goals of free trade and anonymity.

I am considering starting an online business that would sell prepaid cell phones and refills for Bitcoins. I would have no need to collect any personal information from the buyer, apart from their shipping address for the initial purchase of a cell phone. While it would not be a Tor-only site, Tor traffic would definitely be allowed.

The rates I could offer would initially be around BTC 0.012 to 0.03 per minute and BTC 0.015 per text message sent or received.

Before I spend time and money to get this running, I'd like to get an idea whether there is enough interest to make it a successful business. Would you be interested? Do you have any questions or suggestions regarding this idea?

Thanks for your feedback,
Trevor
