Okay, I've resolved to just not buy bitcoin. How did my account get knocked in credibility? just for asking? I never transacted with anyone last night. Also, for the record, I'm in the US, and Coinbase's instant purchase is rejecting all credit cards currently: https://community.coinbase.com/t/verified-credit-card-backup-stopped-working/10318/25Skrill is currently banned in the US, and localbitcoin charges usurious rates. Thanks for wasting my time with no information, wish I hadn't put the time into this post or this forum at all. Deuces, won't be back.

Looking for best offer from a trusted vendor. I realize my account is new, but I am willing to work out a deal so that you and I are comfortable and happy with our transaction. Read my posts, I am no scammer, I am certainly a speculator though!
You: have a record of vending, be willing to chat with me prior to jumping into the transaction.
To comfort YOUR worries, I will draft a document with my identity attached and will sign, as proof that I intended the purchase with you, a verifiable document you could use to refute any potential chargeback (there won't be one since you'll provide the bitcoin). I will pay above market price for your convenience.
To comfort MY worries, I would like to complete the transaction in a sequence of smaller chunks, so that I am only risking you being a lying scoundrel in small pieces.
Please do respond! I will be online again in 4 hours looking to complete the transaction!
George Orwell had a name for what you just wrote - double speak. That's cute, but I'm not a scammer. Just desperate for bitcoin. How else am I supposed to get bitcoin? Please god someone tell me. My bank through coinbase is causing me to wait 5 business days for my order to arrive, and I need it tomorrow.

Where do you get this information? This would be interesting to see updated by the minute. I have a script that collects this sentiment info from various sources. I'll have it post here and in a few threads perhaps once a day and see if people like it. Perhaps then I could put something online for people to browse by the minute. What do you write the script in? What are your data sources? Where do you compile it? I'd love some more info on how you did this.

Get ready to buy your asses off... If it turns out we are at a local minimum, it's going to the fucking moon next.

Lol. That's rich. If only the roots of power were as shallow as they appear on TV. But hey we CAN make enough to buy some shiny things if this looks like a good investment op for the real elite.

Haha haha the wealthy elite thread was the only thing that got me through working my 9-5 link?

I'm a bit relieved there's a correction, even though I bought more last night before this surge.
I'm comfortable holding for a few months at least.

Time of day, US Govt is hodling 44k about to sell, and the US investment community is loving it right now.
|
|
|
Does anyone else think this has something to do with the USMS final auction of "seized" bitcoins? Or does this have something to do with the block halving which is due next year?
If you can dream it, they can scheme it. Crazier things have happened. But that doesn't detract from it's legitimacy. It's just a nice turn of events that our government's insolvency is driving interest to a valid alternative so that they can cash out in the short term. We need to use this and any momentum we get to justify support for an alternative to our current corrupt systems. You can start by requesting that your transactions be completed in bitcoin
|
|
|
The time is now to start using it as a currency then. Start requesting it in transactions.

Small dumps everywhere.
Is this the top or just another bear trap, like the one in the weekend?
Sell now There will be 2 buyers for every coin you give up. The people who have been riding this upshot have by now told all they're friends who are now scrambling to buy. I know mine are.

so is this just a bubble all over again or there's some solid reason bitcoin should grow in value?
It all depends on the amount of wealth that needs to be stored in btc. The more wealth in a scarce commodity, the higher each unit becomes valued. If it becomes the new 'gold' in terms of storing wealth, it will shoot up accordingly. If it does one better and becomes even a moderately frequently relied-upon currency as well as a store of wealth, then it should have a justifiably higher price than today.

$20+ spread between western and Chinese exchanges now... why isn't this being arbed?
You got a quick and cheap way to convert CNY to USD? Just sell on the CNY markets and buy in USD. Convert later.

There is a great Zerohedge article about how the chinese are seeing Bitcoin as the salvation to move money quick outside of their frontiers with the ease of a click. Gold tens to show up on x-rays so it's useless. Cash will show up as well, stocks require identification and just don't cut it.. for the first time ever we can move money worldwide through the internet without any credentials. This is just insane and makes Bitcoin cheap at anything under 1 million dollars. I don't care if people call me insane.
Bingo - capital flight: www.sovereignman.com/trends/chinas-communist-party-bans-golf-18166/"Chinese stocks saw a major collapse several months ago, and we may see a major crisis in the banking sector very soon. Local Chinese with any real savings have been scrambling for months to move their money offshore. And this ‘capital flight’ is reaching epic levels. In August alone, $141 billion was sucked out of China. That’s more than the entire GDP of Nevada or Ukraine." Gentlemen? <- Am I doing it right?

I am dedicated to bitcoin. Bitcoin changed my life. No other assets.
Moi aussi. Me too. -Posted from Argentina This is why I am bullish. Not in it for day trades. I think we're witnessing the adoption/regulatory acceptance of a global phenomenon that's only going to become more widely used as the financial markets crash, yet again.
