thanks! what does tapped mean? not familiar with this word

hmm. In my program it is all tuned to 440 hz, I suppose that's the Western standard but not the European standard. I was never aware of this difference, is it very noticeable? As far as i know there is no way to tune to 432 in the program I'm using without some crazy trick.

I don't think it's better, just preference. Actually in this example the 432 sounds slightly off-tune to me because most tuning forks are 440 hz and I'm used to that. I think it is more important when it comes to live instruments. This is something I'll have to experiment with in the future

price is dropping simply because no one is putting any buy walls up. Not for any other reason. Prices do not magically move by itself. people who bought high are selling thinking they can make up the loss somewhere else.

Okay so I was in a creative mood and came up with a very rough idea. I realize it's vastly different from the metal music you're thinking of, I'm gonna see if I can get closer to that sound when I have more time to work on this. And I'm not sure how much of it goes with the trailer but it might work for another scene.
If you guys don't like it I can start over from scratch, no prob. Either way, give me some constructive criticism. I tend to add string instruments to most of my songs which gives it a more dramatic feel (sometimes it's too much), but I can take that out. On the track I marked where the orchestra comes in if you can't tell

ah. Metal music isn't my forte at the moment since I don't play the guitar and don't have the equipment to record live instruments in high audio quality (though I do enjoy some heavy artists like Mastodon, Meshuggah).

If this was a space shooter like Mass Effect, I think I could make some more fitting cinematic tracks (suitable for a trailer or cut scene), check out "You Only YOLO Once," "Neuromancer," "Tannhauser Gate."  

"The Warbler From Arambol" might be the closest thing I've tried to make to rock music, but it's like a fusion of trance and progressive rock. I play the drums but don't have a way to record live drums so the closest I can come to real sounding drums is with a Digital Audio Workstation program.

I'm mostly better at making downtempo electronica stuff. But feel free to give it a listen and see if there's anything that you like.

Have you guys thought about what you're going to do for the music?

I'm an aspiring composer and would gladly try and come up with some tracks, but I need to get a feeling of the atmosphere you are trying to create.

game already looks really nice so far, I like the simplistic look of the maps, reminds me of Portal. This could allow you to focus more on mechanics and such for now.

Thanks for the panic sell, i hate weak hands. I recorded it in case anyone wanted to see how I tricked you into selling low. If you want your coins back you can buy them at a higher price than you sold for. That's the penalty for being an idiot.
