1  Economy / Speculation / Re: German government having second thoughts. on: July 14, 2024, 03:26:39 AM
They will regret this when Bitcoin explodes to new high, after new high, after new high. What does a nation state possibly gain by selling Bitcoin. They have loads of national debt, they can print money whenever they want (they do) so why sell something that has a limited supply. It makes no sense, also the fact they are not selling OTC is very amateurish.

Well perhaps they just want to dump it, simply as that, most of the seized Bitcoin goes back as far as 2014, so that's 10 years holding for them so it's just about time for the government to sell, and not care about the profit (although for sure they've made huge gains already).

And now that they are done, the market didn't move as others predicted, like in the range of $30,000-$40,000.

Now the market is back, maybe at the end of this month, we will see $60,000 or higher. And as we close this book, it just shows how resilient Bitcoin market is, not even 50,000 BTC put a huge dent in the price.
2  Economy / Economics / Re: acquiring many properties in the name of owning an asset on: July 14, 2024, 02:39:03 AM
It baffles me how some wealthy people in our society, instead of owning few productive properties that will stand as assets which will generate proceeds for them, they often enter into owning so many properties which some of them are left in dilapidated state and some of these wealthy men doesn't even know how many properties they've got because of how numerous they have become and sometimes some of the people who either stand as agents, witnesses or attorney that was involved in the business dealings hijacks some of these properties without the knowledge of the owner simply because they also have some of the owners documents in their possession.

Well that's not smart for those who acquired many properties that is not productive. I know a person and she was close to me, but the thing is that she already had a business and she was struggling to keep it afloat. However, she make a loan, and then buy another business in which I advise her not to because it's just going to be a big problem for her. She didn't believed me, and so she was like competing with his husband who had a business of his own. They are strange and complicated relationship and so I'm thinking that maybe she wants to proved something.

But after a couple of months, here new business didn't prosper and so she has to sell it again. So probably this is a great example of why we shouldn't acquire properties, we should be very careful so that we won't go to this example and just be smart in making decisions in our life and think about the consequences of it.
3  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Shuffle accuse me for create multiple account on: July 14, 2024, 02:15:32 AM
They accused me for create multiple accounts which i didn't

Unfortunately, I dont think there is much you can do about it.  These gambling sites use automated systems flagging accounts for suspicious activity, which is fair, but it means mistakes happen sometimes.  But these are rare cases in my opinion. Still, thats the bargain we strike for using their service.

Have you tried reaching out to their customer support and explaining the situation?  Maybe someone else from your household used the platform, so you shared the same IP address?

Yeah, and it's rare that casino's are going to show proof here on the reasons why they flagged the account or how they caught the user with multiple accounts. And they have sophisticated tools to know that indeed it's one and the same user with multiple accounts like IP Address, the machine it uses, the OS and others.

So the it's up to the OP to provide proof that he is not using any other accounts. It could be the someone from his household could have created another account and so obviously it will be caught by Shuffle.

Or if he wanted to pursue then have a 3rd party to meditate things between him and the casino.
4  Economy / Economics / Re: [Bitcoin or Gold] choose correctly on: July 13, 2024, 01:24:47 PM
Well I made this post on how people could view from having Bitcoin or Gold. Please give your reasons for choosing any of this let us know how people could classify gold and bitcoin.
To me gold is more of fashion using it for beauty than bitcoin, when you talk about gold you remember your lovely clothes that is designed by Gold, your lovely necklace, ear ring name it all this is were we can classified gold mainly for beauty and design even though it is used as store of value or as a reserved fund.

Definitely, it terms of investment, I would go with Bitcoin anytime, although I was also a avid fans of Gold in terms of it as being used as jewelries, good investment as well specially bracelet and necklace as you can easily pawn it if you need quick money. But you also have to be very smart as well not to pawn it to a price that you can't pay.

But in terms of Bitcoin in the last 8 years or so, turns out to be a really good investment in terms of returns. So no doubt, that's why most of us here chooses to be in this market because of that very reason, ROI is greater that if you simply buy Gold in 206-2017 and just hold on it. And so there are a lot of pros and cons, but simply put, Bitcoin is the best assets that we have right now, more than Gold, no argument about it.
5  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Devin Haney vs Ryan Garcia on April 20 on: July 13, 2024, 09:56:28 AM
Anyone have heard of this news?

Ryan Garcia expelled by WBC after using racial slurs in livestream.

Quote
Ryan Garcia was expelled by the World Boxing Council on Thursday after he repeatedly used racial slurs against Black people and disparaged Muslims in comments livestreamed on social media.

This is really getting out of control, someone needs to help this kid, it's evident that this is a mental issues. Although later he admit that he is trolling, but it's too late as the damage has been done already and WBC has expelled and most likely there could be other governing bodies that might follow them despite his apologies. I don't think this is trolling, and with the cancel culture we have right now, just one mistakes and you will be done.

Too bad, Ryan Garcia is getting worst, Oscar said that he will be going into rehab though, so that is a first good sign and who's better to advise him that Oscar himself as underwent the same depression fuel with drugs and alcohol. Initially him and his group trash a well known hotel and later they pay the fine, so money is that the problem for Ryan. And perhaps his whole entourage and the people surrounding him is that not good influence.

So that is the good start, apologizes from Ryan and then going into rehab and think about his life's decision and his mental illness. Hopefully it's not that late though, he is just under a one year suspension and after that he could be very well make a huge comeback and make a lot of money from boxing. He should have a mentor though that will carry him so that he can make the correct judgement.

That is coming from Oscar though, but we do hope that it's true that Ryan will go on a full rehab before everything goes out of spiral not just in his career, but in his personal life as there are things that he shouldn't be in because who knows, it might mean some prison time for him the worst.

His family will have to play a big role here, specially is Father who I think is still very healthy although is Mother has been sick if I'm not mistaken.

So far I hasn't seen any post from him since the last scandal about the supposedly break-in in his ex-girlfriend's house.
6  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 13, 2024, 09:12:02 AM
News update.

It appears that negotiations for Loma vs. the scammer Tank Davis has begin! This is confirmed by Bob Arum. This is also quite shocking because it appears uncle Bob is changing his tactics on creating fights. Did he not like creating superfights before? I might be mistaken, however, I reckon he will only do this rarely. Has he learned something after Bud Crawford left Top Rank?

In any case, I wish that Loma will not agree to Tanks's rehydration clauses.

Top Rank promoter Bob Arum states the Gervonta ‘Tank’ Davis vs. Vasily Lomachenko lightweight unification fight is in the works for November in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand or T-Mobile Arena.

Arum says Carl Moretti of Top Rank is negotiating with Luis Decubas to make the Tank vs. Lomachenko fight happen in November in Las Vegas, provided they can hammer out a deal.

Source https://www.boxing247.com/boxing-news/arum-confirms-tank-davis-vs-lomachenko-fight-in-the-works-for-november-in-las-vegas/280359

It's probably what they could have verbally agreed upon, Tank winning his fight against Martin and then Loma getting a win and a belt against Kambosos. And probably this is a way for Bob to rub it in to Shakur as Stevenson openly said that he wont' sign back with Top Rank.

So Shakur will have to wait first a little longer before he can either face the winner.

I don't think that rehydration clause could be an issue, Loma is not that big for 135 lbs, and this is his comfortable weight. Maybe the size of the ring though or even the size of their gloves or what gloves they are going to used as Tank is a knockout artist.

But yes, Arum already confirmed the news right away after Tank won against Frank. So let's wait if this is going to be official in the next coming weeks or months.
7  Economy / Gambling / Re: MetaWin.com | The First WEB3 Casino on: July 13, 2024, 08:50:28 AM
I think they can still cheat despite being audited, as a big number of their followers aren't organic.

That is true. TBH, I don't think there is any tool out there with 100% accuracy but if it can make their work load easier then, I'd personally find it useful. It does seem it can weed out botters up to a certain extent 🤔

As shared above, with the commercial policy, MetaWin team will have to pay a little money if they want to use that tool with full features. I can not guess will they are ready to pay money for it but if they see it is helpful for their team to detect bots, run campaigns more effectively, it's worth to purchase the membership.

I just meant [background] checks in general which may or may not include the mentioned tools.

Yeah, obviously it can't weed out botters, but still good enough tools to clear everyone at least. But Metawin though if I'm not mistaken is fully aware of it so most likely they are doing their own way to identify botters and real followers.

And Metawin's giveaway is really that attractive, and their competitions too, lots of money being given away for those lucky gamblers on their platform.

So still a win-win for "real" followers.
8  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Bestcryptodeposit.com is Likely a Scam - Beware! on: July 13, 2024, 08:26:56 AM
Well it already scream scam when they even don't check their spelling,

I am not advocating for a new site but for any website a typo mistake can not be a big thing. Anyway, when I see a business is returning 1500% after one hour or 600% after a day then it's obviously to good to be true. When you are trusting something too good to be true then you are likely to get scammed.

But still though, if you wanted to have a "perfect" site, you should at least know how to spell correctly so that it will really look genuine. And if you look at how long this site is, mostly they have notice it already but they doesn't care because all they want is to scam people.

And not only that, the guaranteed profit is also another red flag.

Yes, it could be a Ponzi scheme, a Bitcoin doubler, so we should stay out of it.
9  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Losing all your fortune with just 3 years on: July 12, 2024, 11:23:31 PM
Seeing news like this makes me surprise how some people can be so addicted to gambling and despite many loses they never back out and keep losing again and again. This is a sad story and a pitiful one for the person in question. Going from riches to nothing is the most painful experience you can come through while living your life. What you intended to do to make you more money, end up making you lose all of your hard earned money over the years, that’s so sad and regretful in my opinion. The next happening of such situation is that the victim has committed suicide since they can’t afford to contain themself through the emotional damage they’ve caused themselves, I hope his is not the case.
greed and stupidity are the best allies to start losing systematically. If a player is haunted by a long series of losses, then it’s definitely worth taking a break, preferably for a long time, in order to restore the nervous system and not make mistakes, since it’s definitely not worth sitting down to play on heightened emotions. It’s a pity not all of this understand.
The thing is that sometimes when the loses starts coming the human brain 🧠 is so stressed that it can't even think of stoping and it only takes a well trained person to stop the programing. That's why they are so many gamblers out there that have fell victims to addiction of not stopping when they are losing and for some gamblers it takes just a simple lose for them to continue the chase of that little funds they have lost.

That's what we call their decision is clouded, they can't think clearly that all they want is to continue to gamble. You can call it training if they were able to control, but I'm not sure about it because as gambler, it's really hard to do that and we can only stop until it's too late, until all our fortunes are gone.

Not just for super rich guys, but even ordinary gamblers who have money in the beginning and thought that they can win and then suffers loses will also be a victim of this mentality. So if there is still time, we should really know how to control our emotions and not be another victims here.
10  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The 'play till you hit it' mindset on: July 12, 2024, 10:16:31 AM
This is us gamblers, we gamble to hit it, our goal.

I think most of us are really aiming for a huge win that we don't have to work for a long period of time. Like when we are lucky and we hit the jackpot, so we will be constantly gambling, will not mind our losses as eventually that time will come. However, that doesn't mean that we will stop after the win as we are gamblers and we know we enjoy what we are doing. We don't talk about our chance here as the house really have the big chance of winning, our chance comes when we are lucky and everyday we are trying our luck to win big.

At the end of the day, as long as we gamble according to limit, everything should be fine.

Yeah, most gamblers really look for that big hit and that's what our goals are. So regardless of how much we bet, be in max bet or just $0.1 we always think that at the end of the day, we are going to win and our chances are very high.

That's usually our mindset, be positive and we hope that lucky luck will be on our side. We then continue to play let's say slot games, worst kind of odds but still, maybe we will be lucky that we will hit the jackpot and play all our capital in just one sitting, and then deposit for more if we lose that initial capital.
11  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs Akhmadaliev ordered by the WBA no later than September 25 on: July 12, 2024, 07:55:28 AM
^^ So meaning to say, that they will have to pay Akhmadaliev step aside money so that Inoue won't fight him and instead faces TJ Doheny? What will happen to Akhmadaliev then? Will he have to wait again before he can get a crack at Inoue?

Just weird though that it seems this fight is what boxing fans are looking for and it could have been lock in already and good to see former champion Akhmadaliev to test Inoue. For sure they are not afraid of him, but most likely this is due to boxing politics again, too bad for Akhmadaliev though.

Also on Inoue's choosing to fight TJ Doheny next, what does this imply for Inoue and the WBA's order of a mandatory defense against Akhmadaliev? It appears that the WBA super bantamweight championship will be removed from Inoue's waist after his fight vs. Doheny.

If Inoue knows that the WBA championship will be removed from him, I speculate that he has decided already to move to the next division on featherweight where he can challenge the champions there including Brandon Figueroa.

We have the same thoughts, maybe this is going to be Inoue's last fight at 122 lbs and then after winning, he might want to move up to 126 lbs and challenge all the champions there. And it very well the advise of Bob Arum not to fight Akhmadaliev, just one fight against TJ and he is done at super bantamweight.

And still a win-win for those who are waiting at 122 lbs, I mean it will open up again a new set of champions. So for those former champions that Inoue has beaten, they will have equal opportunity again to regain their belts once Inoue move up to Featherweight division.
12  Economy / Speculation / Re: What's the basis for your Bitcoin speculation? on: July 12, 2024, 07:07:00 AM
What's your basis for speculating that Bitcoin will get to a certain price in a given time frame? Let's share our thoughts on this so that while talking about Bitcoin getting to $100k or $350k in a particular timeframe we can do it with some sort of fact.

Personally, I look for a long period and the bigger picture, so it means that I'm not affected by the movement in a given time frame as you can't do anything about it because of it's volatility. So it's better to look like in the next 12 months or so.

As far as going into $100,000, well, just look at Bitcoin's past history and you can see that the prediction for the next bull run is about that price minimum. Last all time high is around $69,000 so just multiple it with 2.x something and maybe you can arrived as what could be the next peak price in 2025.
13  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 11, 2024, 12:41:15 PM

What do you expect? He went overboard with his posts and with the way the social media is right now, they are going to cancel you regardless of who you are. And I think Ryan deserves this, he has been out of control in the past couple of months after he was found guilty of using PEDS and now suspended. But it seems that he doesn't care and when on a tirade in his account, but no one is letting him with this one.

And so WBC has no other options but to issued their statement about Ryan and so there's nothing we can do about it. Oscar though trying to salvage everything by saying that Ryan is going into rehab but it's too late.

Ryan should’ve gotten treatment for his mental problems long ago but there is always people willing to exploit him for their own benefit. Golden Boy, Matchroom, and DAZN allowed the Devin Haney fight to go through because they didn’t want to sacrifice the PPV money. Social media influencers like Andrew Tate use him to farm engagement. He went on a racist tirade and is still somehow allowed to tweet crazy things.

Maybe if they hadn’t been enabling his destructive behavior he wouldn’t need rehab, which it doesn’t appear that he will even be attending after all. Not only is all this affecting himself but he is also dragging his brother down with him, Sean Garcia, who came in over weight and then got knocked out on Saturday.

And then there are more drama, as it was reported:

Quote
Ryan Garcia apparently broke inside the house he lived in with his ex is to see his kids and went on to destroy the place

https://x.com/oocmma/status/1810884944496824378

And there is also this this news that he is texting a underage girl, not really sure what's going on with Ryan's life, but obviously, it has took a toll on him with regards to his suspension I guess. I thought that he can handle it well, but with so much on what's going on in his life with the divorce and other personal stuff, his like is going on a downward spiral.
14  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Nigeria a blessing to Africa? on: July 11, 2024, 11:56:56 AM
Nigeria was granted independent in 1960 by Britain, ever since she has been playing a fatherly role in the African continent, some of the roles include laying a  solid foundation for the establishment of ECOWAS with her continent sister Togo, she also played a lead role in peace keeping missions in Africa . Also to mention is the supply of electricity to neighbouring countries, to mention but a few with these one can conclude by saying Nigeria is truly a blessing to Africa.

I'm not from Nigeria, but I hear horror stories about the country and they are not doing good as well since their independent. So not sure though if you can call it a blessing to Africa as almost all the continents are also suffering.

And most of them rely to countries like China, UK and the US or even Saudi, so it's not that they are all independent. And it might take centuries as well to recover from all the destruction and other ill effects of being under colonialism for hundreds of years. And then there is the corruption that plague not just Nigeria but it's neighboring countries as well so it's not they are a role model or taking the lead.

And with that, I wouldn't depositing any money in this website, and everything looks fake like the supposedly paid-out and then their supposedly certificates.
16  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling with stablecoins, Fiat, or crypto? on: July 11, 2024, 09:45:59 AM
The title says it all. Which currency do you prefer to use when betting? Is it stablecoins, good-old Fiat, or traditional cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin or Ethereum?

Personally, I like to gamble with crypto not only because it's "KYC-free", but also because it represents freedom. The only downside is market volatility. Stablecoins always have their value pegged to Fiat (usually the USD), but they're too centralized and often lack investor protections or guarantees of any  kind. And then there's the choice of Fiat, but most (if not all) casinos or gambling sites require you to reveal your personal ID (KYC) to use them. In some countries it's even illegal to gamble online. So crypto for me, is the true winner here.

How about you? Grin

It's a combination for me, if I go online, then I will used crypto's, seldom to I play with fiat unless it's necessary. But things have evolved lately, as we all know that Bitcoin fees in the last year or so are not that cheap so enter LTC or Doge as options as they are very quick.

However, if we and my friends play, we go to traditional based so I also enjoyed playing outside. With the atmosphere or the settings, with free drink, and then there is entertainment with the bunch of guys you know for so long. And then at the end of the day, you got drunk, lost money but enjoy that night.
17  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Work Now May Not Work Tomorrow on: July 11, 2024, 08:47:30 AM
What Work Now May Not Work Tomorrow pattern do exist but I agree that is going to work everytime. Like your friend i usually do play a mines game i use pattern that bomb usually dont in the same place. It work like 3 times in a 5 games but only work if you setting the bomb 1 and you can only take profit 1 tiles that gives u only 0.04x which is very low.

And pattern usually exist in sport game like football because some sport game can be predicted from the past game data tho all of this just my opinion

Perhaps the percentage is that low to really predict the outcome of the game. Because it is then there are no challenges and we can make a lot of profit from gambling. But it's not the case, it's the unknown that makes gambling really very hard but at the same time reward for us if we win big. So don't rely on patterns, just bet on what you want to in certain sports, be it the underdog or the favorite.

In the game like baccarat which I become addicted previously, I tend to believed that I can beat the house and found patterns. But it's not, it is random and those who says that they can find patterns are either just lucky, or just dumb as there are none to be honest. It's all random and just coincidence.
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Peter Schiff btc critic posts standing infront of bitcoin sign at the airport on: July 10, 2024, 11:58:47 PM
So my question is, is Schiff slowly accepting bitcoin as something to hold on to alongside gold or still completely bearish on it's existence?
I heard a few months ago his own son is holding some bitcoin which I found hilarious.

It's really hard to say though, I mean this personalities could have been using this smoke screen (going anti-crypto), but then again are slowly accumulating Bitcoin overtime and he could be a bag holder for now. And for me, another thing of beauty as we are all (pseudo) anonymous and can hide thru Bitcoin in a good way and not let others know that we have a lot personally being kept somewhere else.

See, his son is found to be holding Bitcoin, so there is a chance that he himself is also holding it secretly.

19  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A reservoir of unpredictable games. on: July 10, 2024, 11:41:41 PM
I once had this guy coming around to bug me with weekend fixtures for coupon draws... Not until someone volunteered to stake heavily on them odds, just to prove to him that the authenticity of his games weren't guaranteed. Since he wasn't in a position to wager the games himself, the agreement was that if anyone wagers and it doesn't cut, he'll have to pay for the loss.. "I was surprised when he readily accepted". His confidence threw me off, but something kept telling me that he's got too much ballsiness for it to not.

Long story cut short, it was a win! yes, it became a surprise and infact, a mystery to everyone that his prediction just delivered as though he arranged with the fixed draws -- 6 draws came through and since then, he kept making predictions on that premise, but the opposite was the case for everytime he wrote down random numbers. Infact, he has never won since then!
Why do people see themselves as a reservoir of unpredictable games whenever they bag a huge win in the midst of others?

Isn't it obvious though that it's luck and coincidence? And it just shows how unpredictable the games was, and in any case, it he takes the bait that he will pay for it, then I have a feeling that if everything goes bad and you didn't win, I don't know, maybe he will make a lot of excuses to not pay you.

So in the second prediction that he gave you, did you put a bet on the line again that he will pay you if he losses?

Or it is just you believed him then and then just follow his beat thinking that it will be a win?
20  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for July on: July 10, 2024, 11:20:09 PM
12hr average was held for over a day and I was hoping it would stay above to form a positive trend on great time frames but it has failed and today is a bust in that respect unless these last few minutes bring a last minute recovery.  We are very close to the 12hr average once again but so far BTC is struggling more then a little in this recovery attempt.

True, I thought that it's going to hold unfortunately, it's not. Volume is down as well, perhaps some entities are pulling the market down. Support line along $58,000 didn't hold that much. In any case, July looks like to be June as well, struggling to recover and it's hard to see for now getting to $60,000.

We still have a lot of days though this July, so who knows, Bitcoin as an assets needs to mature, as we have seen deepest correction since 2022, investors should not panic, traders should be smart as well so that they won't be carried away as for sure they could have been losing big money along the way.
