Are you investing and have you sent in your btc yet?
As I explained, I'm seating on the fence. I don't think the project will work with only 40BTC funding and it would be pointless to contribute unless I'm confident the project will have enough funding so my approach is wait and see. And I'm sure many potential investors think the same way, that's probably why the ICO doesn't progress much. Making the 200 BTC target a condition for the ICO to end removes the incentive to wait. I disagree. I think your proposal would cause this to stall out even longer. They've stated they're seeking outside funding which may subsidize the 200 BTC goal and that will be factored in at the end in the opening post so we may only end up needing 100 BTC. I don't see your idea as removing the incentive to wait because if I had the same mindset of "this can't succeed until it's close to 200 BTC" I'd say fuck investing till it's actually around 150-160 which means people will indefinitely be waiting until the investors who have actual balls invest and get it up to 150-160. Do you not see obvious problem with this? I don't think it takes a genius to realize if Pro4Never was able to make Apex work with a zero-budget initially he'll be able to make his new project(s) a success as well given they're in the same sector.  |

People seem to enjoy the content updates. Here's a preview of a new premium weapon skin that will be added to Apex later tonight.  The weapon skin will be able to be applied to both blades and swords using premium currency. Heroes will obtain these looks at a later date and will be purchased using jewels. They have no effect on your characters strength but they sure make you look 'pretty' This looks pretty awesome nice job Chris. How big do you expect your team to be in terms of asset artists when you're starting development on Rebirth? Are investors going to be able to claim a cool looking item like that in Heroes? I think that would be awesome if possible maybe 1 color for ICO investors and another color sold in Jewels shop for Heroes when added? i would like this , but probably would just sell my item to another player because i dont have time to play with work. that is small reward for ico investors , i am sure item will be rare if there are many players and few investors. I don't see this as a very sensible idea since I don't think many investors would take advantage of it (people are lazy). What I would like to see as a plus maybe is maybe a small credit to the Jewels shop for some free in-game content/skins. That way the devs don't need to waste time developing something specifically for us but if we decide to spend time and play Heroes we can at least have a few items while doing so. I'm sure most of us work full time jobs at least I do so we won't have the time to farm out strong characters, but at least we can look cool?  Not gonna lie. it looks quite badass. Looking forward to you reaching the community about your project! Which community are you talking about??  They are already reaching out to the bitcoin community here... All the bitcoins due in the refund process will be sent 30 days after the formal release of the software all together. The refund policy does not support a partial refund and is not revocable once applied. Does anyone else find this suspicious? Why so long to issue the refund, I mean you'll know who the people are who want refunds before the launch of the mainnet and you'll have the BTC since well they sent it to you... this seems shady. Also seems sketchy that all the developers are past Huobi employees. This seems like a play that Huobi is just backing behind the scenes which explains the large investments at the start. Anyways draw your own conclusion about the legitimacy of this project... I don't think it's a scam in the sense that I do think they will deliver the project, but I don't think the price will exactly go through the roof either which is why so many people are fomo investing |

I think its impossible unless a big whale comes and buys it because people who want to invest will not wait. they will just invest but only 41.9 btc invested so far and a thread for weeks. If people support this then it could have 100's of btc already like most other icos.

what problem do you have in bitcoin.
Every service/coin or any other thing has its pros and cons, so is bitcoin too. What is a big problem using bitcoin is that we should wait for many minutes or hours to get enough confirmation to be safe that the funds has been sent or received and there is no chargeback chance. Bitcoin needs to have bigger blocks and needs to be integrated in more services/markets so people can use it more. You know that given the networks current strengths the chance of someone mining the next consecutive 6 blocks is almost impossible? With typical transactions (if you're ignoring the size of the tx) and not an automated service 1 conf. is probably more than enough to suffice. |

Player Kill. So its just a PVP tournament right? Last man standing? Or.. PK Tournament just means it has to do with PVP as you said. It's not always last man standing in the sense it's damage based. There may are usually different types of events where for example I've seen hot-potato like games done where you pass the bomb by hitting another player with a skill shot. |

Would have to be one of the best real world uses for Alts, Hell if people buy half as much as I put into Evony this will be a huge success. I will have a look at the game later in the middle of a total war revival atm Though I am jaded on new coins as 99.98% of them fall over within 12 months ( if your lucky) What is the ICO price? I can t see it here Does it have a working wallet yet? is being added to Steam an option? Will be watching closely There is no ICO price I think since they are just collecting BTC so it is price discovery where u split up the jewels at the end based on how much a person invested and wallet has not been released yet. I was thinking dev you should consider making an account on SteemIt since many crypto people are on there and it is a nice way of blogging and getting news out there about your platform you should check it out! Oh good a waves style ICO, that went well for them I hope it does get the 200 BTC, seeing as your making yourself known should try to get the coin on 1ex.trade on launch. I also tend to agree in setting up as steemit account and slack channel, BCT is on the way down. I don't think the way Waves did their ICO has anything to do with the current price. It has to do with the fact they keep making promises and falling short. They like to constantly keep dangling a carrot in front of people giving them false hope and then act as if everything is going as they planned and who knows maybe it is? We're now currently sitting at 38.99 which is fairly close to $25,000 with now over 200 deposit addresses it looks like things are finally starting to pick up with just over a week left. I can't play at 1024x768 Configure.exe lets you choose any size you wish to use. We're also working on a more user friendly configuration tool for use with heroes. Where is the smart contract being used in this situation?
There's no smart contracts yet. Those will come out in 6 to 12 months and is part of the 2nd phase towards decentralization. I haven't decided on a code base yet. I'm considering: IBM HyperLedger Eris Tendermint Ethereum 2.0 PoS Synereo But of course another platform may come out that's better then all those. At first the bitcoin blockchain and counterparty will secure the only digital asset. I'll begin a new blockchain and that digital asset will be moved over into the genesis block. Last I checked the definition of a DApp was an App that utilizes smart contracts so... no smart contracts means.. :^) DApp means decentralized application No shit, I swear these forums lowers my IQ. They're decentralized by using smart contracts as a form of execution plan or data storage. Where do you draw the line in whats a decentralized app and isn't? If I make a mine sweeper game where when you submit your score to the server that data is held in ETH Smart contract is my mine sweeper game a Dapp? The whole term Dapp and Smart Contract are very misleading in a sense |

Hello BitCrystals community! I had an interesting proposal that I'd love to flesh more out in terms of thought and possibilities. I am one of the team members from the Jewels project. It is our goal at the start of next year to start developing our own illustrious MMORPG which is the purpose of the Jewels crowdfund, however we have immediate use cases in our existing games - Apex Conquer (see Jewels thread). I've had some time today to fully look over this project and it's progress and over all I quite like what I see. What is most alluring to me about this project is its beautiful art work that shows a lot of time and effort goes into crafting each card. Minor suggestion and off topic but I would love to see a lore wiki put together for Spells of Genesis if there isn't... but I digress. My idea is simple - I think it would be very cool to integrate some of the outfits from some of the characters of SoG into our upcoming game as well as our existing game. In our existing game (Apex) there are already cosmetics for customization that are fantasy oriented after all the majority of the game is fantasy oriented. There's actually already existing garments that resemble some cards such as the dark robe seen here albeit it is a bit generic . The way I see it working is as follows - In our new Jewels web wallet we are working on developing we will offer a store for specialized cosmetics that are modeled after cards seen in the Spells of Genesis game. These cosmetics modeled after SoG cards will only be obtained by depositing the same blockchain asset associated with the card and then the player will be able to corresponding item on our game while logged in. I believe this is a positive use case for SoG cards and mutually promotes both our franchises. Here you can see some examples of cosmetics that already exist in Apex. Additionally, scrolling through our facebook you can see a few garments which are not shown in the previous link here. Anyways, Just and idea at the moment but I would love to hear the SoG's team members as well as community's thoughts on this! Edit: In case the BitCrystals team themselves reads this and is interested in further discussing this idea, please shoot me a PM or an email at jewels@apexconquer.comDo any of the SoG community members have any thoughts on this? I've already started my thoughts on it in the Jewels thread but to summarize it briefly here, my main concern is the time and effort required to do something like this. It doesn't seem like SoG's devs need to do much more than say "yeah we're cool with u guys using our intellectual property" its the Jewels team that will have to develop the 3d models for their game which is far more difficult and time consuming to my knowledge then the PS'd images for SoG's cards. Asides from that if it's not going to hinder Jewels's development, I think its a great idea. Cool looking things are always a plus to any game. |
