Recently I saw one video on this topic. since then I've seen at least 20 more like that. This shit would create mass hysteria if it is true. The points that are made by the flat earth movement are actually more viable than those made by scientists. I'd love to see the astrologists face when they find out that they have been looking at the ceiling the hole time.
2  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: To Gamble or To Invest? on: October 27, 2016, 05:05:34 PM
For me gambling and investment is same, its same that you can lost your bitcoin, cause some other gambling games are not probably fair and almost all bitcoin investments are a scam . but if you want to profit i reccomend you to gamble thst invest cause if you have been scam at lost you feel angry, but if you have been lost at you feel sad cause its your own fault.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin make Banks disappear? on: October 27, 2016, 05:02:06 PM
That's only the words of extremist of bitcoins fans and field IMO, I think it's still too early for bitcoin to actually replace fiat or change the financial system. Bitcoin can be a great currency on the online field and for conducting transactions throughout the world.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: FUCK! The Bitcoin is dead again. This time for sure. on: October 26, 2016, 02:29:47 PM
I do not think that Bitcoin is dead because I am still making money with it and as long as I can do that I do not think that the Bitcoin is dead. So maybe Bitcoin will be dead in the future but not now.
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is stealing Bitcoin illegal? on: October 26, 2016, 02:17:05 PM
Taking something that is not yours is really illegal may it be bitcoin or anything that you take without any authority from the owner. In the case you've given wherein you accidentally have bitcoin in your wallet upon generating it and you don't know who gave it then it is not stealing because there is no intention. But a chance of this happening is near to impossible.

8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin be used for Good? on: October 25, 2016, 03:26:19 AM
based on what i see now as many adoption for bitcoin transaction has been made the perception coming from more people who have knowledge using it is positive its been used for good because for us who invest and use it regularly we can pay our bills and enjoy more and more transaction using this coin just like what others comment here bitcoin is a known currency now so it can be used both ways bad or good depends only depend to the person who's using it.

I just wish we could use it on more service providers and other billing we have and more transactions we do in our daily lives, like buying food or groceries.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin be used for Good? on: October 25, 2016, 02:41:46 AM
It can be used for good and also bad. Similar to real currency, you can buy homes and food for the poor or you can buy drugs, arms, bombs, etc. It's really up to the person holding it.

Shaping up as big year

Cheesy
yeah , and in the recent two day increased price directly show that the fluctuations in sharp for big hit in bitcoin will take in the beginning of the year 2017 .

Yeah and if we see higher price at the end of the year then we can expect much higher price in next year too, and bitcoin is improving day by day so we can expect that next year will take bitcoin to new heights.

When the SegWit is released or the bitcoin block size is incrased to 2MB or even 4 MB, the price will be higher.
12  Other / Off-topic / Re: 2017 Year of the Bitcoin on: October 05, 2016, 04:28:23 PM
I hope 2017 will be the year of the bitcoin because 2016 was a very slow year for bitcoin and I don't want the same faith for 2017.
Hoping we will get globalised a little more and more accepted in shops etc in 2017 that would be great progress.

When it comes to usage of bitcoin I agree that we didn't see any improvement and the development has been slow so far but it doesn't goes same with its price as price got higher this year in compare to last year.

The development of the bitcoin used to be fast, but it has slowed recently. Maybe the developers are more cautious.
13  Other / Off-topic / Re: 2017 Year of the Bitcoin on: September 14, 2016, 05:33:17 PM
For those who invested in Bitcoin earlier this year, this can already be considered a year of great achievements, but no doubt many opportunities may also arise in 2017.

I agree with that. The price of rose more than 80% in the last 9 months. That is already a good achievement.
14  Other / Off-topic / Re: 2017 Year of the Bitcoin on: September 03, 2016, 10:07:47 AM
For 2017, i don't think it will be a year of bitcoin. Because there is no big news on 2017, but we don't know though.

So you already know the news for 2017? Care to share?

Rico

The development of the bitcoin has slowed a lot recently. I think the trend will continue in 2017. So the price will not rise much.
15  Economy / Speculation / Re: If the US dollar crashed, would it affect bitcoin in any way? on: August 17, 2016, 04:39:01 PM
Most likely Bitcoin's value would increase compared to the Dollar, GBP, EURO and other fiat currencies. It would be seen as being more stable and the value increase would entice others to get some. I doubt it'll fall as it is not fully reliant on the US economy to keep it going.

The value of the bitcoin will rise compared to the fiat. If the fiat crashes, the bitcoin price will rise even faster.

I think so. That is the reason why I have bought the bitcoin in the last few years and keep them for the long term.
16  Economy / Speculation / Re: If the US dollar crashed, would it affect bitcoin in any way? on: August 03, 2016, 10:24:48 AM
If the US dollar clapses, the bitcoin will replace it as the world reserve currency. So the price will rise a lot.

The price will bitcoin will rise exponentially when the US dollar crashes. It will replace many fiats in the world.

That is right. But it seems that we need to worry about the short term bitcoin now. One exchange was hacked.

18  Economy / Speculation / Re: If the US dollar crashed, would it affect bitcoin in any way? on: July 10, 2016, 09:43:28 AM
Yeah it would effect Bitcoin somehow because many of the Bitcoin users sell there Bitcoins against the US Dollar, so know they will have to fgind a other currency to sell for.
I think that it would not do much but it would be somewhat a problem at first.
I also think that it would effect the Bitcoin somehow because many people are selling there coins for the US Dollar so now the users have to search for a other currency and maybe that is going to be harder.
So I am not sure how it would go unless it is going to happen.

When the US dollar crashes, the bitcoin will be the major currency. It can rises a lot in terms of US dollar.

The US dollar will not crash suddenly. It will just drop slowly due to the inflation. The bitcoin will also rise slowly.
19  Economy / Speculation / Re: If the US dollar crashed, would it affect bitcoin in any way? on: June 22, 2016, 07:51:10 AM
off course it will affect the bitcoin in all ways and that is because the bitcoin is worth allot of dollar so as you can see if the dollar crash the bitcoin has no value..

When the dollar crashes, the bitcoin price in dollar will increase. For the last 7 years, the dollar crashed against bitcoin.

That is right. The value of the dollar crashed against the bitcoin at least 10 thousand times. It will crash again and again.
20  Economy / Speculation / Re: If the US dollar crashed, would it affect bitcoin in any way? on: June 08, 2016, 12:44:32 PM
As the title says, what would be the effects on bitcoin if the US economy crashed?

Would there be a sharp rise, as lots of people would want to move their money out of the dollar and into something else, or would the price drop, as a large fraction of the bitcoin community is American?
It would effect Bitcoin in some way because many people are selling there Bitcoins for the US Dollar and if that crashes then people have to find other currencies to sell there Bitcoins for.

I think only the miners will have to sell their bitcoin to pay for the mining cost. Other people can use bitcoin to buy things directly.
