There is a lot of hype behind BTC as of right now. All the people invested into Bitcoin say this every year and it has seemed to be right each year, considering the raise in price sense 2013. I feel like a lot of Bitcoin owners are starting to become a little skeptical with what the future of BTC holds. With competition become more fierce in the altcoin world. Many of these upcoming coins have a lot of potential of being the next big thing. Monero, Dash, Eth, and even Factom are starting to make large development moves. I believe the future of blockchains is very bright.
Yeah there's a lot of hyip behind bitcoin , where the owner are pulling some investors to invest on their website , and people are not inspecting the website where they get scammed that fast because the website are not worthy to trust with bitcoin, hoping that bitcoin is this year are going to accept in some store and some alt coins are going to rise  |

Steem is intriguing lol nice altcoin advertising. he is talking about Ste am and not Ste em! steam which is a gaming client used by valve conporation and it has over 125 million active users (11 million concurrent) and all these people who are spending money on steam were introduced to bitcoin a couple of months back when steam started accepting bitcoin as payment through bitpay. this is why he said it is a good step towards going mainstream. |

Last year, people said "2016 will be the year of bitcoin" and today we say "2017 will be year of bitcoin".
What I mean is every year could be year of bitcoin. You just have to appreciate the events happening.
Exactly, the price, value or popularity of bitcoin depends on the events represents bitcoin on a large scale, so the most events occur in a year the more its price would grow and that would become a good year of bitcoin, so there can be many good years of bitcoin but not just one that would be called "the year of bitcoin". Bitcoin has performed better in this year in compare to past few years, but unfortunately we don't have any upcoming events in next year, so I doubt what will be the price it will hold in next year. The improvement from last year's bitcoin could prove that bitcoin can develop. I believe in 2017 bitcoin will be better from this year. I can not be sure but I believe the price of bitcoin prices will increase in 2017. The adoption of bitcoin will also increase in 2017. |

I can not provide any proofs yet, but there are quite a lot of lined up 'events' that may happen by next year which we can base off calling 2017 as 'bitcoin year' or whatever it is. It's possible. The effect of the halving was being priced in even before the event, but I believe that it will continue to perpetuate over the coming months, at least it is what the present scenario indicates.

Halving is already done but we haven't felt the effect of halving yet, but may be in next year or by the end of the year we will experience it which will take price to higher level. |

2016 is the best year of bitcoin, because the price of bitcoin increase up to 2 times. For 2017, i don't think it will be a year of bitcoin. Because there is no big news on 2017, but we don't know though.

Every year was great in bitcoin but some of the event happens like bitcoin halving in 2016 and the result was great because the value of bitcoin is increasing and if 2017 come and the price would be stable i think we can say that 2017 will be year of bitcoin too. |
