There were several red flags within DESICO project already. They have no real purpose or incentive to run the project other than being a mere cash grab. I saw my friends join DESICO's bonus campaign and they were able to sell a lot of money. Why do they have to scam?
That doesn't mean they will not scam. THat's just a way of advertising and getting as many members as possible before going AWOL.

Wallet is impossible to hack. If you lose money on your wallet, it is because you accidentally revealed your password, or lost privatekey or you yourself downloaded malware to your computer. With the 2FA code, it is impossible for a hacker to hack a wallet.
It's quite possible to hack a wallet by improvising any keylogger into a victim's PC with a little bit of social engineering. Although wallet in itself is not hackable unless the private keys are not encrypted or stored in a server.

1. How secure is PoS? POS is distributing coins by staking. Although it's quite secure than POW but it doesn't have a real consensus in it's true sense. 2. If its so secure why are most cryptos still running on PoW? PoW is the vanilla form of mining since its derived from bitcoin. PoW has it's deterministic way of assessing supply vs demands. 3. Does this mean that ETH blockchain is not as secure as it is said to be?
ETH and ETC are different. The PoW attack occurred on ETC blockchain. PoW attacks generally occurs when major involvement and popularity is not there in a project.

Am a crypto investor seeking your opinion on which of the coin i should invest in for now.
I would rather say to invest in both BTC and ETH. Well, that's risky but you can divulge your funds that way and increase your profits by diversifying your portfolio.

Although I believe there is a certain saturation in development but that doesn't mean the development will eventually come to a stop.
Your generalization of holding crypto until 20k again is kind of off putting as this kind of mindset is not within everyone. It might be some traders having that mindset but that doesn't mean the developers will stop working for that reason as well.

Yeah, one of my friend was suggesting me on using that site this morning. Although he isn't involved in it but he was an ignorant one and got lured by an email he received earlier. They might be spamming their URL through emailing. So, watch out for such emails too.
Judging by the looks of it, the site is sketchy as hell, with several red flags out there.

NEO has its fundamental network flaw. The GAS which has its own purpose of powering the NEO platform has an ever increasing flaw of its pricing. As the user-base will grow in future, the GAS prices will too since both are directly related. Soon enough it will be another unsustainable or highly expensive token amongst various others.

The generic rule of thumb is to accept coins that have a high volume in trades, everyday. High volume doesn't always mean that they are real. They might be pumped sometimes by some telegram groups. That's why you have to do your due diligence while looking out for new cryptos. All coins cannot be accepted because all 100% are not legit. Also there are coins which are not even made for acveptance as currency. Some are utility coins as well
Not always. Take the example of Litecoin and Ethereum.

There's no specific date and time for it. One can start their niche and it's ICO anytime they think might grasp more attention. Am I missing something??? Why can't devs launch ICOs only when market is stable to avoid not getting listed ,I'm hearing 6months from few projects before getting listed ,this is very annoying. Start ICO when market condition is pretty stable ,it won't hurt and would be better for every one ,there won't be any complains from bounty hunter side too
No one can't predict how the market is going to be for the ext day so they can't do anything if the market falls to deep,if someone is legit they might return your money if they can't do that project with the money they have made the rest will be fade away. No one returns after an ICO is complete. Even after the project fails the money is long gone by then.

Do you think paying bounty hunters in bitcoin or ethereum a good idea so that there is uniform payment among the participants? What is your thought about this? Maybe this is the first step to turn back the trust they lost because of mostly valueless coins they offered. What is your thought here guys?
Depends on how transparent an ICO is. Some ICOs doesn't even want to involve their BTC in bounties at all. Some projects that I get pay using Ethereum and in my opinion, it's very good. Especially if the paid hunter is using Bitcoin is certainly much better. Because it will have an impact on the price of Bitcoin whose price will continue to soar upwards.
Lol. That doesn't how the market works.

Norton popped this threat up upon installing the new electrum version. Let me know if this is any false positive since heuristic isn't really a virus in my opinion. It tells the antivirus is trying to detect "HEURistically" that a file MIGHT be dangerous, which might not be in actual case.

Banks will never gonna make negative impact into Bitcoin. It might be the other way round. Which means, buying, selling and trading bitcoins will be much more easier in a regulated way.
Moreover, banks might have other intentions by entering into Bitcoin and that is, by studying the blockchain technology and building their own blockchain based crytocurrency. Just like what ripple did.

I would like to use blocktrail but I have become way too used to blockchain.info's nice layout... I would like that they fix the onion url those because I always get those annoying "out of quota" or something errors.
Stop using onion's address for browsing blockchain.info and accessing its wallet. In this way your wallet identifier will get traced by one of the exit nodes. Then they will start their own brute-forcing to get back into your account.
Money. I don't think Blocktrail gives a shit to what Bitmain does with it now, I am sure they all made a nice profit.
No. Blockchain is a free and independent explorer and they didn't have any profit whatsoever in those years. That's why "maybe" they are either leasing out their brand to Bitmain for some yearly income or sold them directly for a large sum. Upcoming years will reveal what the actual intention was. As I know very well, they (Bitmain) already had their own blockchain previously.

I'm wondering if there is a way to get 5% interest every day on your bitcoins. It sounds almost ponzi like, but i think it is possible(it's not double in an hour or anything like that).
If you have any ideas, please let me know.
Man dont get lured by those fake "5% daily" statements. Nobody in this world will give you 5% daily if not monthly or yearly. There are numerous risks to an investment and the investor needs to profit first before sending you a fraction of it to you as the original investor. If he pays you 5% daily then what will he keep for himself. Learn to know about these kind of economist tactics and never ever fall for it. Why dont you propose your local "private" bank to start a scheme of 5% daily return? They will just laugh at you straight.

http://www.newsbtc.com/2016/04/30/media-fails-attempt-destroy-bitcoin-favor-blockchain/I am curious why the reports on bitcoin on television are somehow making bitcoin bad. Somehow many people are thinking that bitcoin is a criminals money. And while reading this article it just make sense that media has made attempts to destroy bitcoin in favor of blockchain. Is someone behind this bad publicity to bitcoins. But at least bitcoin remain strong. Media will always try to spread the negativity towards common people in such an extent that they will eventually create a bad taste towards certain innovation or ideas. In this case they always are trying to influence common people to create hate towards Bitcoin as it was used by some criminals and drug dealers. This kind of blind bandwagon is making me hate the media. They are always trying to gain traction to their news by spreading negative messages since people gets more attracted towards negativity as a whole.
