1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: between whitepapper and reality on: October 29, 2018, 02:10:16 PM
As of now there is no clear regulation regarding ICO but every nation or government have their own laws regard fraudulent activities. It would be hard for the law enforcers to prosecute them because ICO is not yet covered in their regulation.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scammers are lazy on: October 29, 2018, 12:37:42 PM
I just wonder sometimes why hackers would not want to use their time and effort they spend to scam others on doing something meaningful and legit, to earn something worthwhile for themselves, except to rip others of their hard earned money.
Most times, what they even take illegally from others at the end is not used for anything meaningful.
Scammers should desist from this act, because karma is real.
Work and don't be lazy.
Scammers cannot be eradicate because it's been here for generations. You can only minimize it by having a strict regulations or law and implement it without exception. Since ICO is not yet regulated, it became a safe haven for scammers.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Most ICOs Sales are Failing? on: October 29, 2018, 10:22:42 AM
Currently   Lot of ICOs conducting Sales failed to reach hard cap. Some failed at Soft cap leading to reversing of Funds to investors. ICOs Like Civic , Codex , trivier, decibles,  etc. It was also observed that Most projects delayed token distribution and Exchange Listing. SHOULD I say they are scared of been dumped. Some have been conducting Sales for over 6-7 months. generating all sorts of names just to raise Money,Which shows a clear signs that HARDCAP and SOFTCAP was Not archived.

What could possible be the reason behind this Failures ??

One of the main reason of failure of ICO this year is because of timing. The timing was wrong because the market is declining and many investors cutloss to minimize the risk of losing. They don't buy new ICO because it will only cause trouble for them if the market is declining.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How Far are we from the bull run on: October 29, 2018, 07:17:20 AM
Its been about 8 month since we are in bloodbath. market has not shown any signs of recovery till yet. what do you think that what december will bring to us.. ?

There will be a pump that will happen in the last quarter of December but don't expect that it will be the same last year because until now the whales are still waiting for the signal of other whales.
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are we still "Early Adopters"? on: October 28, 2018, 01:20:49 PM
You are still considered as an early adopter even if you join today because the adoption stage today wasn't even reach 25% of the total population in the world. Even if you survey your friends and people you know, you will realize that we are still far.
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If the banksters and governments held 90% of the Bitcoin supply, what now? on: October 28, 2018, 10:18:30 AM
Would it be fair enough to assume that the project has failed, or failing?

90% of Bitcoin being held by an oligarchy of the elite, a cartel of banks, and by governments working together might turn Bitcoin into their "playground".

It is a failure if that happened. Although I think it will not happen because many holder believe in Bitcoin and those people are investors and they will keep it and hold it for their future.
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Related Crimes Surge on: October 28, 2018, 08:48:18 AM
From murders to kidnappings, it seems criminals are targetting Bitcoin hodlers these days. Now why is it that individuals are more careful with fiat than they are with crypto. This is money and more people (even crooks) are realizing that. I read this analysis of Bitcoin related crimes and think we should think of ways of keeping our crypto safe and our lives also. https://cryptoinfowatch.com/cryptocurrency-crimes-surge-as-industry-strives-for-greater-adoption/
Why would you relate murder and kidnapping in Bitcoin?  Transaction  using bitcoin is anonymous so how can they kidnap a person with so many Bitcoin not unless they announce it to the public that they have lots of Bitcoin in their wallet.
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Mining Really Causing Environmental Damage? Maybe not that much... on: October 26, 2018, 12:28:34 PM
Bug miners in the world are using environmental friendly to minimize the cost of electricity. There are more threatening activities than mining Bitcoin like Literally mining gold, silver and rocks. They should focus more on the main problem nor the slightest one.
9  Economy / Exchanges / Re: DECENTRALIZED EXCHANGES: why we need decentralization? on: October 25, 2018, 09:35:14 PM
We need decentralize exchange to fully control our cryptocurrency. Centralize exchange are like banks, they control our coins inside their platform. They also have the key to our cryptocurrency. If they decide not to an access with your account you can't do anything about it.
10  Other / Archival / Re: Bitcoin and global warming on: October 25, 2018, 07:36:04 PM
Global warming is already been a problem ever before  Bitcoin invention. Those who make it a big deal are those people who are against it and paid the mainstream media to make it sensational.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I F***ING HATE THE ICO MODEL on: October 25, 2018, 03:22:57 PM
People wonder why ICOs aren't anymore successful in 2018.

Before you get in, they promise the world.

After you buy, the whales who got in cheap dump, you find yourself at a loss, devs and mods start treating investors like shit saying things like "this is a long term project" and "we have no obligations for ICO particpants" "lrn the difference between investors and speculators", "community", "please don't talk about the token price", "greedy speculators"; etc.

Honestly - fuck this.
Not even 1% of the coming ICO is worth considering.

Looking back at 2017, there were so much rubbish and projects which never delivered ANYTHING and still racked millions with just a smart contract and a whitepaper that it is revolting.

Time for a change, the ICO model is done for.
If that is your perception, you should avoid investing in an ICO projects and focus in Bitcoin. I agree that majority of ICO are not good investment but we should also credit those potential one that is hardly working on their project to become a success.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KYC for ICO, is it good or bad idea? on: October 20, 2018, 08:49:32 PM
I think it is a bad idea to have a KYC procedure in a decentralize world of cryptocurrency. Giving your personal information to unknown people will compromise your security. You are also not sure if those who collect the data are trusted or not because selling personal data in the darkness is rampant.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICOs are not dead, just maturing in a positive way. on: October 20, 2018, 07:45:09 PM
ICO is not yet maturing. I consider it matured if there is already a regulation where no ICO could launch unless they provide the necessary requiments that proves they are a legitimate ICO and will be needed and useful in the future.
14  Other / Archival / Re: Litecoin's future? on: October 20, 2018, 05:38:50 PM
Litecoin was regarded as silver to Bitcoin. However, its performance is much worse than Bitcoin.
What's your view on Litecoin's future? Will it catch up or continue to underperform?
Although Lee said that he sold all his coin, he also mentioned that he will continue and actively supporting Litecoin. I actually don't believe that he sold a his coin because he can buy it anytime he wants and keep it a secret.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin Comparison Last year with now on: October 19, 2018, 08:24:58 PM
Hello friend
Hope you guys are fine.  Wink
I see now in October, only two months left towards the end of 2018, I don't see Altcoin soaring. Roll Eyes

Like last year in 2017, towards the end of the year, prices soared. Shocked

But this year I saw everything just shut up.

According to friends, are you patient with the current price?

Hopefully I get charity Cheesy
Market condition is not always the same. There is a season of bear and bull market but it is not always consistent like climate change that is happening in our planet. The difference between a human and an animal is that animal are driven while human learn how to adopt. We have to learn to adopt the changes of the season.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are old coins no more profitable on: October 19, 2018, 07:18:01 PM
There is a lot change going on in the coin market cap top 200 this days and I don't know if I'm the only one who's aware of it. Could you believe new (4months-7month ago) listed token/coin claimed much slot in the CMC top #200 list. Are those old project which belong to the spot claimed no more profitable?

Your opinion Smiley
A coin that is profitable are those coin that has an active development on their project. If the old coin is not consistent in developing their project, their investors will left and diversify their fund to a new and most promising project.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do investors think about ICO? on: October 19, 2018, 05:26:04 PM
Dear investor!
I have never invested in any ICO. I saw that most of the token / coin after being list on exchange was depreciated by more than 50%. Are you disappointed or all of that is in your plan ?
Thank you!
I don't normally buy an ICO token because ICO scam token are everywhere polluting the market. But I bought a few that have a real project and a solid team. So far they are also affected with the bear market but I believe that they can recover once the market is back in a bull market this last quarter of the year.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A suggestion for ICO promoters and bounty managers on: October 19, 2018, 02:19:31 PM
I agree on other suggestions but I don't agree with KYC implementation. We all know that personal information is a very sensitive information that I cannot afford  to compromise. In terms of dumping of coins, I don't believe that the bounty participants are the main reason of dumping of value because the campaign allocation is so small compared to investors and team allocation.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why People Choose Cryptocurrency? on: October 18, 2018, 06:48:36 PM
Why People Choose Cryptocurrency? Any Need?
We are into commodity trading, and we are building a platform which will support the trade of commodities with cryptos. We are trying  to make commodity trading very easy
That's why New Zone choose cryptocurrency world. It opens up a whole new avenues for everyone.

People use cryptocurrency because they feel free from government and  bank strict regulation. In cryptocurrency all you need is to take care of your wallet securely and it is much cheaper than a conventional transaction that we use everyday.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: More and more Bounties turn out to be SCAM. on: October 18, 2018, 05:40:02 PM
More and more Bounties turn out to be SCAM.
In the years 2016-1917 the era of the ICO began, and the launch of projects was very different from what we see now. Much attention was paid to the promotion of the project in social networks and in all forums. To date, everything has changed. Advertising ICO in social networks is prohibited, and good projects are trying to find good investors themselves. Therefore, many projects refuse to conduct Bounty and Eidrody. Projects begin to carry out closed ICO (for example, ICO Telegram).
But many projects continue to use Bounty to attract investors. And on my vzdlyade 50-70% of these projects SCAM. The project plans to raise money and disappear with them. Therefore, they do not mind paying a small percentage of Bounty and Airdrop.
The conclusion from this is that the choice of Bounty for work should be very careful. Do not waste 20 weeks on an empty one.
Sorry for my English.
ICO is an apple of the eye for scammers This is the easiest way for them to scam at a large rate without too much effort since the one who push the advertisement are real bounty campaign participants. That is why you should be picky when you join an ICO investment or campaign.
