I wont request a payout until you get it sorted then, hope you get everything sorted and that you didnt have too much stolen.
Same here. Hope you can get things fixed and the guys didn't rob too much.

No need to worry. I will make sure everyone gets paid, even if the bitcoins are from my personal wallet. The site is new and I don't want to be considered scam. I am still improving various things around the website. The withdraw page will be available soon, with a lower minimum withdraw and no fee, but manual verification and payout. Smiley

Regards,
King Midas

Hello!

I have some bad news... I checked my bitcoin server and I found out that someone was stealing all the bitcoins deposited by the advertisers.
I will pay the members from my out wallet if necessary, but I can't figure out how. How did someone got access to my bitcoin server?

The further deposits will be processed manually until I figure out what went wrong and fix it.

Hello!

I will finally get home tomorrow.. I had some complications and my health condition was very bad. I had 4 diagnostics and the worst of them was Meningitis. This is why I always had headaches when I was programming something. The doctor recommended one more week of recovery at home with no physical or intellectual effort.

After this week, I will start working on the website again, because I had a lot of time to think about more features Smiley

I hope my programming skills were not affected too Cheesy

Cheers!

LE: Oh, I remembered.. the first thing I will work on will be lowering the minimum withdraw value and decreasing the user fee... hope those are good news for everyone Cheesy

Hello!

Some of you already heard about this.. I've got some health problems and I am at the hospital since yesterday :-(
After lots of tests, they still don't know where is my problem, even I had a fever of 40° Celsius.

I don't know when I will be healthy again, until then I will do what I can to make sure the site works well.

Regards :-)

Yeah things like that happen, when coding. I know that all too well. But I don't know if I made myself clear: The intedned way of the site to work is that I can click the ads once every day. Regardless of how often I already clicked that very same ad on the days before. For me as a clicker that's just great. But I imagine for an advertiser it's kind of unsatisfying to know that a percentage of the clicks he bought will be used up by the same person. And that's where my aforementioned ideas would kick in to reduce that percentage.

You made yourself clear, I was thinking about something else.. my bad Smiley

I was thinking about this when I created the current system. When we'll have enough advertisements, I will limit the maximum shown ads. This way I can rotate the ads from one day to another and users will find everyday other cool websites Cheesy The rotation will not be the same for everyone and the advertisements will be shown evenly. Cheesy

I would like to report one. It's just a typo actually.
In the Ads section, there's a text that starts: “After your clicked is validated [...]”. This should be: “After your click is validated [...]”.

Thanks, I fixed it Smiley I usually type very fast and I have multiple ideas of what to write.. sometimes they combine and something bad comes out Grin

Actually I'd like to add something:

Since you already have a small emphasize on being advertiser friendly: Maybe you'd like to rethink allowing clicking the same ads every day. Right now with so little advertisers aboard I almost feel bad that I am using up the clicks of sites that I do already know. Maybe limit it after the first 2 days so that you can rclick a site already visited only every other day and after another amount of clicks limit it to once per week. Just something to think about.

I just did that... by mistake  Grin

I worked on something and I commented the line of code which verified if the user already click an ad today. Guess what, a user clicked a total of 241 ads today...  Roll Eyes

If you click again and again on the same day, you already know the advertised website. Your curiosity is lower, and your visit will be considered gibberish traffic. If we want to have more advertisers and, of course, more ads, the traffic created by our users should have a good quality.

The invalid clicks made by the users who preferred to exploit the bug instead of reporting it will be removed. The user who noticed me about this bug received a one week Golden Membership Smiley

Next time you find a bug, report it instead of exploit it Cheesy

Nice job with the site, the layout alone beats most of the Bitcoin sites out there. I was actually wondering when someone would create a PTC site that accepted Bitcoin.

There seems to be a small bug with the "earned xx BTC" message you get after viewing the advertisement. It reported I got 0.00002 BTC when I got 0.000015 BTC.

Yeah... As I was getting closer and closer to the final version of the site I was checking the forum everyday to know if it's correct to assume that my website is the first PTC website that uses only bitcoins.

Thanks for reporting this. The value was rounded to the 5th decimal Grin

I added a new feature. Banner advertising. If you find any bugs, let me know Smiley
Right now it costs 1 Satoshi / impression. The banners are picked randomly. Check it out Wink

Need translation eng>ita?

Sure. I already have a list with preferred languages for the website. Right now it doesn't support multiple languages, but not for long.
Send me a PM with your email address and I will contact you when everything is ready for translation Smiley

Thanks!

We want more ads Smiley

Agreed, this site would be a great way to earn Bitcoins, as long as we can get more offers going.

There are three active advertisements Tongue
And probably more of them will appear soon Smiley

Hello!

I would like to remember all users to read the Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy.

I am asking this because someone is keep creating multiple accounts Cheesy

Here is the thing: I created a very very nice anti-cheat system and I want everyone to understand how it works.

1. The anti-cheat system scans almost every single user action.
2. If something is not right, your account is marked as 'Multiple account' and you won't even notice. Everything will look exactly the same, but your account is marked.
3. You can still click on advertisements, you will still earn coins.
4. Advertisers will not pay for your clicks any more.
5. When you request a withdraw, you will get a message about your marked account and you will not be able to withdraw your coins. If you know you have only one account, we can do some investigations and if you are a correct user, we will unmark your account and you will receive your coins. But if we find incriminating evidence from our logs, we won't even reply to your email.

Don't try to cheat Grin

Oh, I think I didn't explained myself quite well...

I was talking about the miner fees. I want to decrease the miner txfee in order to remove the withdraw fee from the site Tongue

The minimum withdraw value is now 0.002 BTC, a tax of 0.0005 BTC is 25% of that value. I was thinking to pay only 0.0002 BTC txfee for a 0.002 BTC transaction. Of course the upper txfee limit will be 0.0005 BTC Smiley
13  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Coin of Midas :: Bitcoin Paid-to-Click on: May 13, 2013, 04:22:06 PM
I lowered the minimum withdraw value to 0.002 BTC.

Where can I find detailed information about Bitcoin fees and how are they calculated?

I would like to minimize the fees and to decrease the minimum withdraw value even more.

It's possible to set the tx fee to 0 BTC, however this will cause VERY long times for confirmation. You can always use blockchain.info to set tx fees. The recommended for good confirmation speed is 0.0005 BTC for a tx fee, however even 1 satoshi is better than 0 BTC. Not that I recommend you do that, it's all up to preference ~

I was thinking of a tx fee of around 10% of the withdraw. This would be lower than the default tx fee of 0.0005 BTC, and higher than zero. It is possible to set what fee I want? This can be done only by using the blockchain.info wallet?

Thanks Smiley

The payout is so high, and the payment per click so low, that you need to click 2100 ads just to get ONE payout.

With 2 advertisements currently, this will take years. You've completely destroyed it for users, while making advertisers happy. The 0.0001 was low enough, even that would've taken MONTHS to get one payout.

The payment per click was 10 times higher, I changed it recently and I didn't managed to update the withdraw rules. The minimum withdraw amount will be also 10 times lower than now.

Right now nobody have enough coins to withdraw (even some users managed to click ads before the income was lowered) and I thought this could wait 2-3 days while I am working on some background "things". Cheesy

The prices and the income will be modified in time in order to get the perfect balance between the advertisers and members satisfaction.
I think it's better to have more advertisements with a lower income than few (or none) advertisments with a higher income.

You can't create something perfect from the first try. You start something, receive feedback and then improve Cheesy

Thank you for the feedback Wink

Wow! You are very talented :-)

I am curious how many hour took you to create them  Grin

Keep up the good work!

You should add "(" and ")" to the allowed chars. Just waiting for you to approve my ad.

Your advertisement has been approved Smiley
I added 4 more symbols: [ ] ( )

Thanks for the feedback Cheesy

Hello!

Today I started a limited time offer (or LTO) for advertisers.

All click packs comes with a 100% click bonus. This means you will receive two times more clicks than you buy.
Or, you can say that all prices are halved Cheesy

The members who bought clicks before the offer but did not used them yet will also receive double bonus clicks :-)

Great I'll give it a try.

Great, I added the bonus clicks to your account. You can create your advertisement. Please let me know if you encounter any problems.
19  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Coin of Midas :: Bitcoin Paid-to-Click on: May 10, 2013, 05:41:54 PM
Update:

I decreased the prices. All the 'old' prices were divided by 10. Also, the clicking income is divided by 10.

This mean the default CPC is maximum 0.00003 BTC. By adding the bonus clicks you can pay as low as 0.00002 BTC per click.
If we add the free clicks (which you don't pay), you will get a much lower CPC.

The referral bonus is still 20% of the referrals' income. Wink

Cheers!

Even if that is so its still 9 times more expensive than Bitvistor. CoinURL offers the same service and it looks like there rate is 90 times cheaper, but my account hasn't been confirmed yet so I can't speak for its success.

Here is a suggestion. How hard would it be for you to accept other coins as deposits? No current ad services have anything but Bitcoin.

Yes, it is still expensive. I will reduce the prices Smiley

It crossed my mind when I was working on the project to add other currencies too. But I can't tell anything for sure about this  Tongue
