The Russians have some pretty good moves.

1. They could decide to suspend payments on their debt to Europeans

banks which are underfunded and pretty much insolvent already. This

would have wonderful results for the financial world.

2. They could let the Ruble totally tank, buy up foreign Ruble holdings

with their dollar reserves and then demand  payments in Ruble for exported

energy. This would have wonderful results for the E.U. economy.

The cotton is strong with this one...

I hope they realise that this is a double-edged decision. It does not necessarily mean that Ukraine will join NATO, as no-one is expecting them there, but it means that once the power changes in Kiev once again, Ukraine will be free to join in a military alliance with Russia.

Ukraine's top intelligence agency deeply infiltrated by Russian spies

By Christopher Miller

KIEV, Ukraine – On a morning earlier this year, Ukraine’s top intelligence officials woke up to discover that the country's spy agency had been ransacked and torched by intruders who seemed to know what they were looking for.

The previous night, it turned out, the country’s pro-Russian president, Viktor Yanukovych, had ordered his operatives to steal a trove of state secrets from Ukraine's Security Service, known as the SBU, before fleeing to Moscow on Feb. 22.

What it really means, is that SBU at that time still had people loyal to the legitimate leader of Ukraine, people who were professional, and who didn't want all the information held in SBU to fall in the hands of CIA (American flag is now flying over the SBU headquarters along with the Ukrainian one). So when it became absolutely clear that a coup d'etat was happening, the last good order of the legitimate president of Ukraine was to secure the information pertaining Ukrainian security.

The fuck are you smoking? I know Rubles are pretty cheap to smoke them, but really?!

 Brothers and sisters,
 Here’s the Summary for April 16, 2014 .

 The bad news:

There will be only one item of bad news today. Because it already covers all the other negative news.

The anti-terrorist operation (ATO) – all of the high expectations put onto it are not justified.

I don’t even want to comment on the actions of the army. This is quite surreal.

Our attempts to clarify the situation have gobsmacked us even more, and gave us a partial understanding of why this surrealism is happening in general. For the whole day, we, the coordinators of Information Resistance group, have been in negotiations, meetings, and consultations. The overall result [of this] is discouraging. Friends, please forgive me, I am not at liberty to discuss everything, so here’s the general breakdown of what I can talk about (and in my opinion, should talk about).

The ATO has been planned, the means and capabilities have been defined, and the tasks – set. However, special forces were put under the strictest limitations and conditions of their actions, such that a successful ATO should be considered a miracle of religious proportions. The Operation Commander – if he can succeed under the current conditions – will be able to walk on water just as easily as on land, and to cure the paralyzed with his mere touch. This person could easily be considered a miracle worker and canonized while alive.

I don’t know if these conditions, established today for the ATO, will change after tomorrow’s meeting in Geneva. But today, if we wanted to empower the extremists, we could just arrange for a distribution of weapons from army arsenals and stop tormenting our special forces.

And here’s something specifically for the senior military and political leadership of Ukraine. Today, we recorded no less than 300 Russian Spetsnaz special ops troops at the Russian border with Ukraine.

The worst is yet to come. In fact, it is now in Taganrog [city in Rostov oblast, Russia], where around 2,000 “little green men” are ready for their deployment into Ukraine. No commentary.

 Good news:

 1. Yulia Tymeshenko has said that she supports the immediate introduction of a state of emergency in oblasts [regions] of Russian aggression.

I understand that this is pre-election PR. But this is the type of PR that plays into the hands of Ukraine’s present interests. Of course, one would hope that our politicians will continue to think about our state beyond PR-acts, but this is just a wish.

The introduction of a state of emergency will greatly simplify the work of security forces. I talked about this earlier so I won’t repeat the details.

 2. Russia has recognized its economic problems caused [by the situation] in Crimea.

Alexey Ulyukaev, Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation was forced to admit: due to the “deterioration of the international situation” and “capital flight,” the Russian economy is undergoing a slow-down. Simultaneously, the United States declared its readiness to introduce new sanctions against Moscow.

I am glad that in the Kremlin they have started to turn their brains on. Alas, we still do not see that it has affected Putin’s plans regarding aggression against Ukraine at all.

 3. In response to the promise of the Russian media that Yanukovych will return to Donetsk on Easter, acting Prosecutor General of Ukraine Oleg Mahnitsky announced that, if his type appears in Ukraine, he should expect a warm welcome.

Mahnitsky reminded everyone that four criminal proceedings are currently underway against Yanukovych, and we’re talking about serious crimes.

Whether our law enforcement will be able to fulfill this promise or not, I don’t know. But this is another reason for a cowardly Yanukovych to wet his pants.
And so, my friends, I have a very heavy heart in general after the events of today. I would like to return to my previously hopeful “format” now. And I would like to wish that tomorrow brings all of us the understanding that God has not forgotten Ukraine.

Many have already forgotten why people protested in Maidan. Now, the Russian Government – Vladimir Putin and his cronies – is hiding Victor Yanukovych and other contributors responsible for murdering people in Maidan, inadequate crackdown on protesters, kidnappings, organized assassinations, etc.

The main reason for protests was feeling of injustice – everyone understood that election was doctored, and the corruption in governmental agencies was incredibly high. The golden bread of Yanukovych, and his villa, full of stolen goods revealed everything. Still, there are even more telling facts. For example, the stamps of all electoral commissions, which were found in one of the headquarters of the Regions party at the end of February.

Currently, the members of the Regions party are rearing their heads in Doneck, supporting the activities of Russian saboteurs and collaborators. Meanwhile, Vladimir Putin claims that Victor Yanukovych is the legitimate president of Ukraine.

Actually, he never was a legitimately elected president. He was a fraud, who came to power illegally by making a parody of election. A fraud, who sold himself to Russia, which now attacked Ukraine. A thief and a murderer, who wants to trigger a civil war in Ukraine.

Masked pro-Russian men attack British photojournalist Frederick Paxton during the mass storming of a police station in the eastern Ukrainian town of Horlivka on Monday, April 14, 2014. Several government buildings has fallen to mobs of Moscow loyalists in recent days as unrest spreads across the east of the country. Western journalists have routinely been targeted by intimidation by crowds during stormings.

Rodyti vertimą

Militants in eastern Ukraine were equipped with Russian weapons and the same uniforms as those worn by Russian forces that invaded Crimea.

Brothers and sisters, Here’s the Summary for April 15, 2014

 The bad news:

 1. Russian Prime Minister [Dmitry] Medvedev prophesizes civil war in Ukraine. “Blood was shed in Ukraine again. The country is in anticipation of a civil war. It’s very sad,” he spoke pompously before the proactive operation by Ukrainian security forces which took place in Donbas.

In fact, it is sad, Mr. Medvedev, that you are a hypocrite, and very narrow-minded at that. If you were smarter – you would have waited until the beginning of the anti-terrorist operation, and then started crying about the beginning of “civil war” in Ukraine. By doing this [before the operation], you have handed over the plans of your boss in the Kremlin to drown Ukraine in the blood of her own citizens.

 2. The Russian President’s press secretary Dmitry Peskov called allegations about the presence of Russian troops in eastern Ukraine “absurd.”

We remember how just a few weeks ago, the Kremlin vehemently denied the presence of Russian troops in Crimea. Then, it turned out there were 22,000 of them in Crimea.

Now we, the Information Resistance group, strongly recommend to the Kremlin that they recount their soldiers, for example, at the 2nd Separate Spetznaz Brigade of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, in Pskov oblast [region]. Since we are in the possession of rather bad information that not all of these soldiers are sitting at home in Russia. And we take responsibility for our information, unlike Mr. Peskov.
 The good news:

 1. The anti-terrorist operation (ATO). The whole day was spent in anticipation of beginning it.

The Russian media have even begun to get properly hysterical, reminiscent of the mad Cassandra: “I see Troy in flames!” [Greek mythology]. It was as if Sloviansk had already disappeared under mountains of civilian corpses, shot by the Banderite army.

In fact, the whole day was spent in preparations for the ATO events. Active steps were carried out in a highly confined way – and with success. In particular, the airfield in Kramatorsk was liberated. Whereas in Sloviansk, separatists who tried to attack the military airfield were driven away like a pack of stray dogs.

However, the lack of action throughout the entirety of Donbas should not elicit pessimism. A balanced and thorough preparation is underway. We should remember that the leaders of the operation were appointed only very recently.

I really hope that we’ll see further positive results throughout the region very soon.

 2. According to the reports received by Information Resistance group, in Severodonetsk and Lysychansk, law enforcement and miners worked closely together to shut down any outbursts of separatism on behalf of local Putin fans.

Joint patrols were organized in both cities. Entrances are controlled to prevent visits of any “guest performers.”

These examples vividly demonstrate that in absence of the “little green men” from Russia, extremists have no chance to destabilize the situation. A handful of village idiots cannot impose their will on the rest of the community.

The strength of current terrorist acts lies in the support of trained professionals from the Russian special forces. Without the Kremlin’s help, all efforts to plunge the [Donbas] region into the blaze of civil war are doomed to fail.

 3. In Donetsk, governor Taruta held a working meeting. His report said: city heads and heads of district state administrations in the region “condemned separatism and spoke for national unity and territorial integrity of Ukraine.” Taruta went on to say that “the central government has heard the regions” and is ready for decentralization. But that is a secondary concern. The most important thing right now is to preserve the country.

This is simple enough. If you’re a Ukrainian under Ukraine’s banner – you’re a friend. If you’re a Ukrainian under a Russian flag – you’re an enemy and will be treated as such. À la guerre comme à la guerre.
