1  Economy / Speculation / Re: HUGE Drop coming! on: January 06, 2017, 11:40:23 AM
Has this drop got any connections with the DDoS attack on BTC-e, which occurred a few hours ago? I wouldn't be surprised if it has. BTC-e is one of the biggest exchanges, in terms of BTC volume.

BTW.... this may be the last opportunity to purchase BTC at three digits. Hurry!!!!

There could be a connnection. The price dropped again.
2  Economy / Economics / Re: Is the economy situation in your country that bad? on: December 21, 2016, 04:49:34 PM
Yes,this scenario happens in my country too. The government is practically selling the country valuable properties at cheap prices just to get the leaders even richer. There is much corruption and of course the jobs problem is a real problem. Ordinary people are getting poorer and poorer and the country has tens of billions of euros in debt. But I think many countries face this problem not just Romania. That's sad but there is still hope as there is a minority of smart, young people who can make the difference if they don't get caught in the same traps.  Wink

That happened in may countries.

Hello everyone ,

I want to know if it is normal that the gpu does small drop of charge?

It is not 100% constant, one sees well on the gpuz.

Do you have the same problem?

My hash rate is 31.2 on average and sometimes it drops, see screenshot.

you have an idea?

It is normal.

I'd probably buy an ad space in the capital city where's the biggest concentration of people and also print out shirt for people to walk around and promote btc, just for people who are passing to notice and remember the btc logo, then I'd organize like a conference where proffesionals and bussinesmans who adopted bitcoin, would talk about it and get the people more familiar with btc, or a little festival where a lot of buainesses can promot e their services but the demonstrations and payment will be mostly be based on btc, also let's say the first 100 to buy tickets recieve a 50$ voucher for that conference/fest.

That is a good idea. We need promotion like that to let more people know about the bitcoin and its benefits.

May be I can helpbutcoin by introduce itto my friends or my family. Becouse I think if more people ude bitcoin, bitcoin will be strong in the market. I am not really sure but I try to explain bitcoin to them.

If you can introduce the bitcoin to 2 friends and they use it and do the same thing then the bitcoin will be popular.

I must say that I think that by investing you are already helping the bitcoin right now, of course its your own decision to do this but I think that is already enough.
What you also can do to help and what I also do is spreading the word about the bitcoin.

Buying bitcoin is one aspect of help the bitcoin. You should also use the bitcoin to make it more useful.

my help with bitcoin is always spending it as a currency! this helps bitcoin more that you can imagine, it helps with the mass adoption that we all dream about.

apart from that i have made a lot of requests to different online businesses and merchants to add the bitcoin payment option and some of them accepted it like steam so i was in fact one of the contributors to make steam make the decision to add bitcoin payment.

That is a good action to increase the value of bitcoin. If we use it as a currency, the price will rise in the future.

Nop, signing problems persists.. not even rebooting with option No7.
Go sleep, relax...
Then if your mind is clear: Post your situation: OS, cards, drivers. OK? Meanwhile you can read tread. Yes 20+ pages but all is there

Nice advice !
Summary : With windows and drivers 16.9.1 you can booth normally even though you have your bios flashed. Re-flash the old bios, format, reinstall 16.9.1 drivers and then let us know if something bad is still happening Smiley

Does it apply to W7 or W10?

I have an avg of 27,1 now for the last 6 hours. Running on 29 now again while i'm back. Is it possible it has something to do with the temp? ( I opened the window and it's running 29 again)
Btw, i have 3 riggs here with 5 Sapphire Nitro+ 8gb cards, which rom wil push them to 30,5? (and still have the temp's visible for me ofcourse)

Mine do not depend on temperature

There is no rom for non-reference cards yet

Oops, i just flashed all my cards. I noticed everything going crazy, flashed the old rom back and it's all okay now.
Is there a ROM for the Sapphire Nitro RX 480 8GB card somehwere???

(still have no temp & speeds on my xfx cards in my normal pc after flashing with the 480lowenergyOK rom, how can i fix that?)

Most of the mod BIOS are for the reference RX 480. So you cannot flash them to your customer sapphire cards.

I will tell my family and friends know. Bitcoin can create money and explain to them the more Bitcoins.

That is what am doing at the moment. I told them about the bitcoin. But I do not encourage them to buy it.

If you had a lot of money or Bitcoins how would you help Bitcoin/ Bitcoin community/Bitcoin awareness?

Not really, i probably would tell have a few people. I use Bitcoin for my own personal endeavors; i probably wouldn't be using it if there was a better way to make quick and easy payments online. I'm a gamer so since Steam began to accept Bitcoin for purchasing items in their store; i just use it for that nowadays; also i buy gifts for other people/

I use the bitcoin to buy good online. I can only buy computer related parts in my country. Otherwise I will use it more.

If I had a ton of money I'd open my own exchange, outside of the US, so no silly regulations!

I think the regulation is to prevent the scamming and protect the investors. Of course you need to sacrifice the privacy.

"It appears, just as we initailly warned here, that more than a few of the few hundred million Chinese have decided that the time has come to use bitcoin as the capital controls bypassing currency of choice, and decided to invest even a tiny fraction of the $22 trillion in Chinese deposits"

If the 1.3 billion Chinese use the bitcoin, it is a big boost.

I will help bitcoin by buying some bitcoins. That will reduce the supply of the bitcoin so the value could rise to some extent.
