I think if you do not have any capital to help bitcoin maybe you can help with this free way although this is an easy and simple, but the effect
generated will be very good for the future of bitcoin you just need to teach or tell your friends about bitcoin it is a small step that has profound effects

If I had a lot of money then I open an online shop thats only bitcoin accepted as mode of payment , I think it will help to the community and I will ask the community what they want to buy using bitcoin?

If I had a huge bag of bitcoin I would rent or buy an Island and make a model cooperative where the only currencies allowed would be Bitcoin and maybe another one or two Altcoins of choice. That way I would get everyone using Bitcoin for their day to day activities. I think this would be quite cool.

I will hold a nationwide raffle with free tickets and there will be 1000 people bi given 50 bitcoin each if they win the raffle. I would want it to be broadcast live stream to all TV channels nationwide. Including radio stations. A day dedicated to bitcoins. After that I will integrate bitcoin in a reality TV show. That will bring a big blast to the whole country. After that expect millions of users will demand for bitcoin and bitçoin will increase in price tenfolds.

• Donation  -  I will donate some of my Bitcoins to charity    I would be introducing bitcoin to this charity to be able for them to get the grasp of what is Bitcoin.
• Sponsoring - I will sponsor national events. This will be the best time of introducing Bitcoin to People and I'll make sure I will be one of the major sponsor of that event.
• Store - I will be setting up local and online store so people will be curious (those who doesn't know bitcoin) and a place to spend for those who have bitcoin

believe it or not lending sites like btcjam or btclending bitcoin has brought many new users in bitcoin. I do not know maybe the site was already well known outside so many new users come and borrow bitcoin. indirectly it helps the adoption of bitcoin

Yeah its helping an adoption of bitcoin but lending bitcoin has become really risky nowadays as you cannot afford to trust the person standing at opposite end.

It would really depend on how large a pile of BitCoins you had:

If it were up to a thousand BTC then realistically speaking you could only give them away to people already in the industry for small projects, eg crowd funding, help (yet another) Altcoin to launch. (see below)

Having said that, if you printed off paper wallets and set up a booth at a trade fair then starting handing them out people would go "Oh that's nice" and most would be lost to the trash can, so that idea is kind of moot.

Faucets get well and truly hammered when word gets around that one has some serious credit.

Up to ten thousand BitCoins and you're starting to talk some serious money - public donations gets free air time:  Donating in local communities gets local media attention (which these days is all cross posted to the internet, so it can be promoted afterwards online)

One hundred thousand BitCoins, you could set up kiosks in Shopping Centres and Malls like the mobile phone companies have and offer services (Cash to/from BitCoin) demonstrate Wallets for Android / Apple / Google devices.  (This is more to bring awareness to the wider community, which isn't actually "helping")


Go out into the community to a soup kitchen and ask them what they'd do with $ 1,000 and they'll tell you they'd buy new tyres for their delivery truck and some blankets.

Portable laundry / showers have been set up in a bus that goes around parks where homeless people are which enables them to groom and wear clean clothes at least for a while.

a small number of BitCoins you could use to help people whose homes have been destroyed (think Fort McMurray) get new identity documents.

Even donating tree-seeds and other flora to get fire ravaged districts regenerated - stop and smell the roses!

I would think of a revolutionary idea that has BTC implemented, in order to show everyone how easy it is to transaction BTC, and how secure. This probably won't happen though, because I won't have enough money to do it.

Bitcoin ia connected to the internet so if I would be rich I would probably be giving free satoshis for some quiz in social medias. That way people will start to create their own accounts and would want to gain some more. It could be a good opportunity also to give some information about how bitcoin can be a convenience to all.

I will start a live forum. Rent a good place where there is free snacks and drinks, make some seats and a visual equipment. Start talking about it without making them bored. Games could be included with bitcoin prizes. Also put 5 to 10 computers with internet and teach them to make accounts give some free mBTC for them to know the price of it. Somehow you might get investors with this event.
