The remain camp does not have to win, just siphon enough votes so that leave camp cannot reach the threshold

How many time zones does China have? .. I guess Beijing isn't the first place where its morning there from what I know and see on the map.. right? ... or they have one of those dumb systems where its the same hour all over the country?

i'm pretty sure they use 1 timezone in the whole country, even though the country itself is in multiple timezones.

must suck for those who live in the east, need to get up really early.

That's backed up by this site. China has five time zones but it only uses one standard time. However that quoted explanation doesn't make sense to me, how can China cover five time zones, but the Chinese Mainland, Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan Province all be in the same time zone?

Geographically, China covers five time zones (Zhongyuan, Longshu, Tibet, Kunlun and Changbai Time Zones). However, the standard times used in Chinese Mainland, Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan Province are the same, for they are all in the same time zone (UTC+8), 8 hours ahead of the Universal Time Coordinated.

all one time zone.

either way, the vast majority of the money is on the coast no further inland than the north/south train lines

Extremely poorly handled. I am still inclined to believe this was on purpose. Would be lucky to see Crypto-trade return with neutral respect. The ones to inherit this project have a lot to make up for and the prior operators should be ashamed of themselves, as if they are concerned.
7  Economy / Speculation / Maidsafe vs. Zeronet on: January 18, 2015, 02:20:51 PM
Anyone want to speculate on what the free market will make more prolific? Maidsafe, Zeronet, or maybe something entirely different

I think its an upgrade aesthetically to the original site, which could help in the long run. New users will ultimately be convinced to use the platform based on a combination of features, perceived legitimacy, and of course price. This update seems to assist in the first two.

Overall, its trading volume that will allow Crypto-Trade to survive. Volume went way down after the site froze trades for a few weeks. There needs to be an all out blitz on recovering the volume to levels at or above what is was before or the price won't track well enough.

yes the update looks good. though we have not gotten a chance to play with it i am confident in the teams site construction abilities.

But this is not enough. PLEASE do not stop at  "volume to levels before," the volumes before were completely inadequate as compared to competing exchanges.

Desperately need a strong and sustained marketing campaign on multiple vectors from here on forward.

maybe consider a professional marketing team, ad space on bitcointalk, adspace on just-dice, commercial ad on Let's Talk Bitcoin, and there has to be more avenues

analbeard claims CM bond payments today. Perhaps withdrawal of Ciphertrade balance will force him to yield his identity, which would atleast be a reassuring sign of good faith even if only the CT proprietors have access to it. Deprived should make statement beyond claiming and ignoring to do something the coming weekend.

What is stopping Deprived from making a preliminary payout of the funds he does have access to, to atleast begin closing the fund?

Hello,

Thank you for taking the time to contact us.

Kenilworth was never listed with Havelock Investments. They did begin the process to apply and we begun the process of distributing previously owned shares by them to their subscribers. However they never completed the application.

Thank you,

What can we do if the bitfunder 2FA was lost and the information for transfer cannot be retrieved?
20  Economy / Securities / Re: [BTC-TC] Deprived Mining Speculation (DMS) on: May 05, 2014, 11:59:56 PM
If anyone has demonstrable losses caused by my absence (by which I mean actual costs incurred - not "I could have sold when BTC was 1200 if DMS had been relisted and CIPHERMINE.B1 had traded at face value") then I'm fine with covering them.  Lack of funds was never (and isn't) an issue for me.

i think "demonstrable losses" should include interest on huge downtime. as if we can believe deprived has the slightest intention of keeping his word
