1  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The rich is hugely favoured in gamble. on: Today at 08:57:21 PM
It is understandable when the concept is only about profit, but in the end, this condition actually makes you dependent and always expect to win in every gamble you make because this mindset indirectly implies that we gamble to increase our wealth, which is clearly a wrong concept.

Furthermore, what about the losses we are very likely to incur? Does that also imply that gambling is not profitable for the wealthy? For example, when a wealthy person bets $1 million and we bet $10 or $100 and lose, we lose the $10/$100 we bet, while the wealthy person loses $1 million?

The concept does not necessarily mean that the rich or the poor benefit from gambling because it all comes down to preparedness. When we are not prepared for loss, even if we are rich, we may feel regret even if we lose a single cent in gambling.
2  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2025/26 Season on: Today at 08:06:36 PM
Looking at the top half of the champions League table there are teams that were not fancied to be there, even though it's just one game that has been played am really impressed by the performance of teams like Frankfurt, club brugge and union saint Gilloise for winning their games comfortably.
It's not too much of a problem for now because, after all, we've only completed one week, so it's quite natural that there are some clubs at the top of the table that are unexpected or unanticipated because the current situation is still biased.

We still have 7 weeks left, which is still quite a long time, so the competition in the standings will definitely be different later on because changes will continue to occur.
Although there may be some unexpected clubs that could still qualify directly, similar to last season with Lille and Aston Villa, ultimately, such conditions cannot be guaranteed with certainty. After all, the current opportunities and probabilities still favor the bigger clubs with the best-quality players. Therefore, I don't think we should be too surprised by the first week, where the standings are still quite random.
3  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2025/26 on: Today at 07:45:28 PM
I really doubt the authenticity of that news because Rashford has been featuring for the team lately. Infact he played the game against Valencia even got an assist registered to his name so I don’t think this news is true. He might not be scoring goals at the moment but there is still enough time to improve, the season is still a long way from finish.
It cannot be denied that Rashford's performance is still in the spotlight, but his progress is now beginning to show, as evidenced by his performance in recent matches, including against Valencia in La Liga and in the first week of the Champions League, which was his best performance so far. Rashford is starting to get used to Barcelona's rhythm and style of play in La Liga.

Adaptation is always part of the process, and given the current circumstances, it's clear that transitioning from the EPL to La Liga isn't something that can be done overnight. However, Rashford is now starting to get used to it.

It's understandable that Flick wasn't too pleased at first, as Rashford's early performances were indeed poor. But as he's been given more opportunities, I think we can see a slight change in his performance.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as an asset; subject to tax! on: Today at 06:02:44 PM
There has been a lot going on recently regarding taxes on bitcoin, although not directly, but several exchanges, especially in my country, have already implemented this because it is not a currency but more of a commodity asset, so they impose taxes where local exchanges are taxed at 0.21% and foreign exchanges are taxed at 1%. However, this does not only apply to bitcoin but to all cryptocurrencies, including altcoins and shitcoins.

I don't really care about this, although sometimes it can be a little annoying, but in the end, every country will take advantage of this as a benefit because when they agree to accept cryptocurrencies or become crypto-friendly, there must be some feedback they get, and this tax is a benefit for them because they realize they won't be able to regulate bitcoin as a whole, so they will try to make this more profitable with a few small things, including from the government taxes.

If the government will treat this as similar to any other asset, then, of course, it can be subjected to tax. But if you know how to be discreet with your crypto holdings, you can hold it without letting your government know that you have it, right? So it is up to you how will you handle your crypto assets.
It turned out to be a different concept in the end, and sometimes these conditions are always circumvented. Indeed, when dealing with exchanges, whether local or foreign, we will be subject to tax, but it is based on trading only, not on investment, so in the end I still don't feel too bothered, even though, as I mentioned earlier, there are moments when we transfer or sell the assets we have invested in because we consider the profits to be sufficient, so this can certainly be a loophole to earn money for tax reasons.  However, as long as we don't use it for trading, this doesn't really affect us.

But even so, as long as the government doesn't classify Bitcoin as an illegal asset and ban it in my country, I won't be too concerned about taxes as long as the government's stance towards remains welcoming cryptocurrency, especially Bitcoin.

Hmm with the look of things I don't think Chelsea can make it through the group stage of the UEFA Champions League, I'm not judging because of the match they lost against Bayern Munich, I'm saying this because I don't really understand what maybe happening like I'm beginning to get disappointed with the way things are going for them the draw against Brentford now a 3 to 1 Lost against Bayern Munich I was actually hoping Chelsea might be a title contenders in the English premier League but it seems it might not happen that way, I just hope the bounce back before it's too late.
One match won't have too much of an impact if they can manage the other seven matches well, but for now we can't say whether they are capable or not because, for me, Chelsea's current condition is quite biased as they are not very consistent in terms of performance.

The match against Bayern was chaotic, but that doesn't mean they will do the same in every match because there are still some matches that will look easy for Chelsea because, looking at the opponents they will face, only Bayern, Barcelona, and Napoli are at a level that may seem the same or even better. The rest, for Benfica (this is still a bit complicated), but when facing Qarabag, Pafos, Atalanta, and Ajax, they must target three points to secure the best possible position in the standings.
7  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2025/26 on: September 18, 2025, 02:24:16 PM
Newcastle united don't have some kind potential players Barcelona have to use play this tournament, because we saw what Barcelona is doing in the la Liga league and they can still do the same thing in this UEFA champion game to beat Newcastle united 1:2. Even in the premier league game, Newcastle united are struggling with some games in this season to win, and this will make Barcelona players to gather more confident to battle with Newcastle united to secure victory from their first round of the game.

Nothing will stop me not to take Barcelona my favorite club in this game today, because they have players that will make good performance happen in the home of Newcastle united.
Newcastle's players are actually quite good because, looking at the current squad, Newcastle still has several players who can be used as references, such as Gordon, but when compared to Barcelona, they clearly lose in terms of mentality and experience.

However, they still have a chance to put up a fight, even though it will be a little difficult because Barcelona's probability is clearly very high now.
Newcastle's current problem also lies in their attack, as after losing Isak, the situation is clearly a bit more difficult for Newcastle.

Isak was one of their key players, but he has now chosen Liverpool as his next destination, making the situation clearly more difficult for Newcastle in all the competitions they are participating in, as their condition will now be even more unstable.

8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do not judge the book by its cover on: September 17, 2025, 09:56:27 PM
Some people might visualize bitcoin supporters as those who wear suits and look like finance bros. People might think that you must be so rich and educated to work in something related to bitcoin or invest in bitcoin. But some of you may be shocked that this is not the case at all. Even the most normal people whom you will never think is into bitcoin can be into bitcoin.

This is the uniqueness and advantage that we have. Some of us who are always open, such as influencers or public figures who are involved in bitcoin, always show off their luxury, but most of us still have several options where anonymity is always an important thing that we must maintain.

So even though we are involved in bitcoin and have a very large portfolio, those who maintain their anonymity will not be seen, including what they look like in real life.
Personally, I like this situation where I can still live freely without being recognized as someone involved in Bitcoin, as it helps, especially in the current climate where exploitation and crime are rampant.
Although there are no restrictions or recommendations regarding what we use in the real world, this is at least one way for me to maintain a low profile.

10  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Premier League 2024/2025 Discussion Thread ⚽ on: September 17, 2025, 09:31:20 PM
Everything that keeps happening around Manchester United and the bad results the team keeps getting shows how clueless Amorim has been and yet he goes on acting arrogant like he knows what he is doing. I’m sure Zirkzee will be reconsidering his decision to stay at Manchester United past the summer.

Sesko is struggling and doesn't look fast enough to adapt to the league anytime soon, Cunha is injured. Zirkzee could use his chances but the problem is Amorim; he doesn't trust him enough to start him in games. He may cause things doesn't seem to be working with the manager except something changed before January.

But seeing this situation, I am not surprised when the club in question is Manchester United. What I mean is that players have come and gone at Old Trafford in recent seasons, and based on their abilities, they seemed capable of improving Manchester United, but ended up failing. The same is true now. Although it is not fair to say that they have failed based on just a few games, it does take a long time to adapt before the situation can improve.

Currently, the arrival of new players in the attacking line has not yet had a significant impact on Manchester United's drought.

The hope remains the same, that new players such as Sesko, Mbeumo, or even Cunha can return to their previous club's form to lift Manchester United's performance to a higher level, as there are still very high expectations for them at this time.

11  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are bitcoins marked as "dirty" when received from a casino? on: September 17, 2025, 01:59:22 PM
Even though it is accepted on the site, I would not say that bitcoin is tainted on the exchange because, after all, when an asset has value, it clearly becomes an object for users who use it, including bitcoin.

It would be a bit silly to say that Bitcoin is dirty just because it is used as a means of gambling.
Nothing can truly be noble because it is very difficult to make something valuable like Bitcoin without creating controversy.

If anything related to gambling is considered dirty, then ultimately we know that there are probably many things that are already dirty, such as fiat currency. So in this case, I don't think anyone would dare to say that Bitcoin is negative just because it can be used for gambling, because after all, we are surely aware that there are many reasons to refute that.

12  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2025/26 Season on: September 17, 2025, 11:12:54 AM

Juventus vs Borussia Dortmund match was 0-0 at halftime, but in the second half, every shot seemed to turn into a goal and it ended 4-4.
In the last five minutes alone, there were three goals.

For the first week, it seems like this match will be quite surprising for some people, including me, especially with 8 goals in the second 45 minutes. This is clearly a difficult situation to predict.

I was actually quite happy with my bet, which was under 3.5 goals in this match, after seeing the first half without any goals. However, the second half was completely out of control, which led to my loss in this match.

Even though I lost the bet, tbh I was really entertained by what happened. After all, I didn't have high expectations for this match, but I think I underestimated both teams, which caused me to lose momentum and made my bet less objective.

13  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: September 15, 2025, 09:23:49 PM
Yeah I agree because it is not only Onana that has been a victim of this circumstance at the club, many others have performed so well at their former clubs and joined Manchester United only to become flops. I have repeatedly argued with United supporters that their backline has been the major problem why Onana kept conceding many goals but they will rather defend their coach and their club than accepting the truth. Good thing he has left the club let’s see who they will blame now.
what I notice from Manchester United right now is that, any player that joins them, their performance is always dropping and not Onana alone. We all can see the players which Manchester United signed this season, all those players were performing well in their previous clubs, but now that they are in Manchester United, we all can see how they are playing, their performance has dropped compare with how they were playing in their previous clubs.

This is a fact that cannot be ignored, because looking at what is happening now, we are well aware that the performance of players depends on the club, and Manchester United has had a significant impact on the chemistry that has caused some players' performance to decline.

It's not just Onana; we can see other examples, such as Antony gradually regaining his form after being loaned out, Greenwood experiencing the same thing a few seasons ago, and most recently, Onana performing well and Hojlund even scoring in his debut with Napoli.

This proves that the focus should not be solely on the players themselves, and it does not mean that the current players are necessarily poor. There are other circumstances that cause their performance to consistently decline for some players, making the situation somewhat uncontrollable.
14  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2025/26 Season on: September 15, 2025, 08:33:21 PM
They have been losing to Bayern Munich in their last five games which needs to stop because I am very sure Chelsea of this is completely different from Chelsea of like five previous seasons, and Bayern Munich on the other hand don’t also have quality squad that Chelsea will be afraid of therefore, I will be expecting Chelsea to either win this match or get a draw.
I don't entirely agree that Bayern's squad is lacking in quality here because, after all, in terms of player material, they can still be considered very balanced. Even in terms of player experience, Bayern can still be considered quite good. We know that several of their current players come from the EPL, including their coach, so they already have a good idea of what to expect when facing EPL clubs.

Chelsea is indeed still one of the clubs that is improving well, but it cannot be denied that Bayern is still one of the strong contenders, as they always qualify for the knockout stages in almost every season (although they can't do much in the quarter-finals or semi-finals), so this is still a balanced match for both clubs.

This could be a situation that might hinder their progress, as losing the first match could complicate things, especially when they lose to a club that can be considered their equal, where mentality clearly plays a decisive role here.
15  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2025/26 on: September 15, 2025, 08:19:39 PM

This match between athletico and Villarreal was really am interesting one, and am surprise that no one is really talking about this match between athletico and Villarreal right now, and if I can remember vividly this match was among the heat talk on this thread few days back before today, where a lot of people was projecting Villarreal to win the match due to their performance, but things went the other way round, athletico secure their first triumph of the 2025/2026 LA Liga season with a 2:0 win over Villarreal. Although Villarreal is still in a good position in the LA LIga table fourth place quite impressing, while athletico is in nineth place in the LA LIga table.
Because in the end, even though Atletico won, they didn't really show anything special during the 90 minutes. Even though we could see that their determination and ball control paid off, in the end we could see that their finishing was still problematic, their attacking flow wasn't very good, and they seemed to be playing just to get the win without any deeper initiative in their build-up play.

While we must acknowledge that after a string of poor results, Atletico finally secured their first three points after four matches, this is still insufficient to generate euphoria for them. After all, in terms of their current condition and position, they remain behind, and for La Liga at present, the focus remains the same, with Madrid and Barcelona consistently dominating the headlines.
16  Economy / Economics / Re: Don't keep money meant for your business in Bitcoin. on: September 15, 2025, 06:47:47 PM
We all know that ultimately, bitcoin is very risky in the short term, but this risk can be minimized in the long term, so it is a very good idea to invest in bitcoin for the long term.

However, if the context is that we are storing bitcoin for daily needs, especially for business, the risk is obviously very high. This does not mean that it cannot be done, but we must be prepared for all forms of risk, and for me, it is not worth doing.

Bitcoin is clearly very good and its benefits are enormous, but not everything we do should always revolve around Bitcoin because of the risks we always discuss in relation to Bitcoin.
That's why I still use fiat currency to this day because it's still very worthwhile for the short and medium term, but for longterm investments, Bitcoin is clearly one of the top recommendations.

17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Living With Bitcoin’s Ups and Downs Over the Years on: September 14, 2025, 06:03:55 PM

I’m curious if others here have gone through the same cycle, from price obsession to simply viewing Bitcoin as part of the background of life.
Almost all people who were in the early stages of adopting bitcoin (investing in bitcoin for the first time) must have felt the same way, where we were always fixated on temporary ups and downs that made us feel proud or even fearful.

But as time went by and we became more familiar with bitcoin or more aware of our purpose for being in bitcoin, this kind of thing became less and less of an issue.
I personally experienced the same thing a few years ago. When my portfolio declined due to a correction, I was always on the brink of panic. And when it rose by just a few percent, I would always say that I was successful in Bitcoin. But as time went on and I became more familiar with my long-term goals, I personally always felt comfortable, even during temporary corrections, because I realized that this situation was temporary and not my ultimate goal.

Panic is a natural reaction because we have emotions, but such situations shouldn’t be overly dramatized. After all, we are aware that the choice ultimately lies with each individual, and when we invest in Bitcoin, we understand that such risks are inevitable.
18  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2025/26 on: September 14, 2025, 04:07:49 PM
Barcelona is currently trailing Real Madrid in terms of points earned, as their match against Rayo ended in a draw, which has caused Barcelona to fall behind in points. Hansi Flick now needs to coach Barcelona to improve their performance. We'll see how Barcelona performs against Valencia—will you bet on Barcelona's victory in the upcoming match?
Although it is still early in the season, competition remains fierce, and Barcelona is currently in an uncomfortable position to compete, especially when facing Valencia today. It is reported that Yamal cannot play due to injury (there are rumors that he also has problems with his genitals Cheesy).

However, regardless of the circumstances, this issue could have been managed if he hadn't been overworked. Unfortunately, Spain pushed him too hard, as reports indicate that Lamine Yamal was already feeling unwell but was forced to play by being given painkillers while with the Spanish national team.
This seems like excessive exploitation of a player, and such practices should be minimized because, ultimately, it harms the club. The fact that Barcelona is currently suffering due to Yamal's injury is clearly felt.

19  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do you gamble? on: September 14, 2025, 01:51:28 PM
Almost all of us gamble for the win and, of course, the extra money, but it's important to look at the other side of gambling. Even though we gamble to win, that doesn't mean it can be used as a means to double our money. Even though this can happen when we're lucky, it's still very difficult because the ratio of losses will certainly be much greater.

It is undeniable that victory is always sought, but on the other hand, we must also be more mature so that the losses we experience do not make us complacent and do everything for gambling just because our expectations do not match reality, which makes this a boomerang.

It’s not wrong to hope for victory, but making gambling a means to earn money and change our financial situation is clearly not a good goal, and we should avoid it as much as possible.
I will say that in the current era, 99% of people are gambling just to earn big and settle themselves because gambling is seen as the shortest way to become rich. However, if they open their eyes, they will also see that it is the shortest way to become poor and ruin their lives. I am not saying it is not good in the context of religion, it can be a good way, but only if you can afford both the losses and have the guts to manage your emotions, your bankroll, and other factors. Firstly, find another way to achieve wealth or happiness. If you don't have any alternatives and still choose gambling, then you have to be very sharp about its pros and cons.
I can't give you any percentages here because there isn't any data that can be validated yet, but it's very likely that most gamblers are doing the same thing, which is gambling for more money. Of course, this will eventually be a little better than those who depend on gambling for their livelihood, as if gambling is the answer to improving their financial situation.

This situation is always a vicious cycle, and on average, those who do this are always those who are below the poverty line and those who have slightly less money.
There are many cases like this and on average those who experience it are always in similar financial circumstances.

20  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do you gamble? on: September 13, 2025, 08:09:23 PM
II am pretty sure almost all gamblers gamble for money, not for fun. Do you believe gambling would release stress? What if I lose on the gambling? Will it not increase the stress? I believe less than one per cent of people gamble for fun with small money. If you really want to gamble for fun, then there are a lot of free games, and there we can spend time rather than spending money on the gambling platforms.

So the reality is we gamble for money; it's pretty simple. Whether you lose or win day by day, you would become addicted based on your financial situation. Because if you don't have money, then you can't really gamble with funds. You have to look for free games where you could just spend your time.
Almost all of us gamble for the win and, of course, the extra money, but it's important to look at the other side of gambling. Even though we gamble to win, that doesn't mean it can be used as a means to double our money.
