Is this fucking guy Malcolm the real Satoshi?!?! Holy shit, this is going to go to Dash levels. Man o Man o Man. hahahaha well done boys!! When is PoW2 expected to be released? To be fair; don't take it as an insult; technology wise Dash is going to lag behind. Having said that: if they focus on development and less on marketing it'll be alright.  I do think it's a bad idea to compare the 2 coins; it really is a different approach and you can read in the white paper what issues come with Master nodes and Gulden isn't implementing master nodes or POS but a completely different approach all together aka POW2. Plenty of people here trolling again but I'll just guess the white paper is too difficult for them to even comprehend. Let me know your thoughts! Regarding Malcolm; I have yet to find a smarter developer. What Malcolm and the team promise gets delivered. Anyway; good to hear that you are excited man! Same here haha |

I will keep investing in Gulden until the team has given me reasonable doubt not to trust them anymore.
Most of the negatives have said there won't be a whitepaper and prime will never be developed. The devs did say there will be a whitepaper (at one time) and prime is the next project. We will see who is telling the truth come May. I am expecting a half truth of no whitepaper but prime will be developed.
I am going to create a list of the haters, moderates and supporters and the camp they fall in and in the next 2 months we can see who is wrong and who is right. A whitepaper would be nice and push it further than the vapourware Prime currently is. For me it's just a hype train that you can follow or not. Until provided with more insight on how it would work, or an implementation in the code don't bother with it. As for the devs: both coding devs have apparently a full time paid job (translation software development, http://tshwanedje.com/about/ ), I still find it strange that people bought into the idea that they would work full time on NLG. Hey Mike; you can act "meh" on bct but you wouldn't be holding if you didn't believe it'd be a success in the end 😉 On the other hand; I suppose it's parts of the game for many larger bagholden to extend your Wallet. That's OK. See my comment above. People have recently offered me NLG for services... I declined because I already have too much of it (yes, that is possible). I'm not saying these things for buying more at a lower price, (read again: I have enough NLG). With the recent pump and dump I'd rather see a stable NLG price for a few months. That would be a signal for me to buy. I always do things targetted at long term. A white paper is interesting though if delivery is on time as scheduled I couldn't care less about a white paper at this time due to it being released very soon. I understand it's more fun to make comments that make people fee less secure so you can scoop up more coins but ultimately it's not a big deal as long as they deliver. I doubt you don't agree. Sure; a white paper could be beneficial but it won't dictate success or not in the end pending proper releases.
Like I said: whitepaper or code implementation release would both be fine for me. I'm more interested in how they would achieve things that the whole crypto community hasn't been able to solve yet. Credit where it's due, but not on vapourware. A whitepaper could also help other people to look at it before it is released. It is easy to miss errors or loop holes, which could be removed before actual code is in production. That things go wrong are shown quite often (even NLG hasn't got a clean track record in that respect). I'm an foss supporter, this is in line with the same principles as in the FOSS community. Devs; if you would be factually informed you'd know what has been promised about "time spend on development" The developers have done outstanding work with the time dedicated but you'll see soon enough. The prime release will just have to convince you (or not). It's up to you how you proceed but look at my comments as a try to have a proper discussion . For everyone in this topic; People invested could consider keeping an open mind and base your comments on performance rather than feelings or sentiment it'd be a lot more fun for everyone (including yourself!) There's a lot of good things happening and there is just no need for this negativity (it happens with a lot of projects so I guess it's how BCT members want to do their business?). I guess this post will trigger another bunch of sour comments from some but I guess that's how some people want to present themselves. P.s. I don't care about other coins mentioned (not because I'm against them but I just don't care..). |

Did anyone check on the Dev team?
The dev team is on slack everyday to answer questions moderate. Fixed piss off; you can be polite and access the slack and just be a normal member who is not trying to push his personal agenda or you can stay here and keep whining. How about the first one and you behave this time? BCT: whine about everything, push your own believes and disqualify other opinions because they don't fit your personal believes... Despicable! For the people who are genuinely interested in the project do check out the developer blog and come say hi in the Gulden slack. We got nothing to hide..

February Update (taken from the official blog)Long time no blog! As I stated in Slack, I had to attend a training exercise in Texas for about 3 weeks. While I was not able to use the commercial internet for most of the time, I still made headway with Darcrus, Jupiter, and Sigwo Technologies. I’ve been testing on NXT’s testnet for 2 months, validating my design of decentrally storing and encrypting syslog/authorization messages from my Linux servers. In my testing, I found increased fees were needed to be paid due to the complex nature and size of my messages. After consulting with the NXT Core Devs, Sigwo Technologies will be securing it’s own blockchain for building the future platform. Jupiter is the name of the base platform, and Jupiter will have plugins built for anyone or business that needs to store data for any reason. Governments, housing data, customer data, schools, medical, and almost anything can be linked and stored for provenance, accountability, and recoverability with each save.  New logo for JupiterThe reason behind creating Jupiter is simple…Using any other blockchain would not be economically feasible. One example of my encrypted syslog application would create 29 million messages daily. In NXT terms and today’s prices, that would cost this particular business $1,238,300.00 per day to store messages, not to mention needing to use 174,000,000 NXT each day. This demand would spike the NXT price, increasing the ~$1.2M per day to even more extraordinary costs. This is just one example application. Jupiter’s base is open source, and will be stored on Github upon completion. Jelurida is the company building Jupiter and have a proposed delivery date of March 10th, 2017. In this time I will be starting plugins (dappsheets) to showcase the flexibility of Jupiter while I wait. I still test on the NXT testnet for now. Jupiter will have non-tradable tokens that are included in software packages to create transactions and store the data on the blockchain. After a time period, tokens are recycled to the businesses to continue their use of Jupiter and it’s plugins. Data is always theirs, as simply having the passphrase will unlock all the data stored. The recycling period is akin to a subscription and support package. As for C3 Technologies, Stan and I are in contact for a proof of concept. He is on a business trip and upon return we will be meeting up to finalize the testing software and procedure. PoC will be coming soon, as I am working on the concept from previous discussions of what Stan would like to see. The roadmap is still on course, albeit a bit later in the months listed due to the Jupiter code delivery. Sigwo Technologies will be getting a website redesign in the coming weeks. I wanted to wait until our new logo was completed. Sigwo Technologies has also subscribed to Cision, a well known marketing, PR, and media introduction tool. Stay tuned. Danslip, please stop the bullshit. You don't speak for me, nor LTEX (can't speak for 24kilo, as I don't know him personal). People claiming pump and dump, should know better. NLG came from around 400 sat, and now it is at 7319. Yes, It went down a bit from its ATH, but for its own good. The market at 18 october was very unstable, this correction is good. Market conditions (order books, coin spread, fundamentals, etc.) have improved vastly since the correction and first signs of the steady way up are already present again. A sensible reply in this topic; about time! Thank you BioMike. |
