oh boy, wouldn't have thought that the market reacts as predicted by everyone. broke my golden rule and touched my btc stash yesterday to purchase at ~ 0.014 and it already worked out pretty well
Well if it looks like a horse and if it smells like a horse, it most likely is a horse. I bought back as well at 0.014 along with my other alts after the snapshot. Bitcoin took a punch though but at least I'm not at a huge loss assuming alts will recover from now on. What pisses me off is BTG appears to be an amateur project destined to fail, I highly doubt they'll even release a working wallet where you can safely claim from cold storage. They need to fail, otherwise this whole freakshow of "forking-cause-free-money" might become a trend ...

Thanks for the infos! I tried to setup Wolf CPU miner under my windows10 but failed miserably. If you could write a step by step it would be very much appreciated. Or if you are too lazy to write it down, a link to an existing one would be also very nice. Thnx in advance! Alrighty, you've downloaded the wolf cpu miner, extracted the files and you already have a wallet address? Launch the command promt, just search for "cmd" and execute it. Depending on where the mining application is located (as in where you have extracted the files) on your PC, you now need to navigate there with the command promt. Assuming that you have extracted all the files on the desktop, you type "cd desktop" and confirm. Note, if the files are in a folder on the desktop, let's call it "miner", you'd first navigate to the desktop and then to this folder (cd desktop --> cd miner) Now you need to start the miner with the command, that you can find on the getting started page of the pool you want to use. It looks like the following: minerd -a cryptonight-light -o stratum+tcp://aeon.kryptopool.com:3333 -u YOUR_WALLET_ADDRESS -p xReplace "YOUR_WALLET_ADDRESS" with your wallet address and execute the command. That's it! Let me know if there is anything unclear

Hello, Any exchanges currently trading AEON? Is it ok to use Minergate pool to mine?
Thnx
Currently you can only use bittrex.com to trade AEON. I recommend you not to use Minergate to mine, you're hashrate won't reach its optimum! Instead you can use one of these pools: http://aeon.sumominer.comhttps://aeon.kryptopool.comhttp://98.238.231.31:9000 http://aeon.rupool.tkYou have to use the command line interface, however, in order to mine with these. Let me know if you have any problems setting it up!

Mining on minergate, not getting much with 120hs.
I'd really advise you not to use minergate to mine cryptocurrencies. You'll be able to double or triple your hasrate by simply using the mining tools that you can find on the pool website's "getting started" pages (e.g. https://aeon.kryptopool.com/#getting_started). Do you know how to use the command line interface? Let me know if you have any problems setting it up. It's really simple, you'll increase your hashrate and the overall network security will be improvied as well!

How long does the wallet for the service will be on bittrex I think the best would be to just contact their customer service

So how long to wait for the WIN binaries?
Unwillingness to support Win lead us, Win users to completely abandon this coin.
Are you a windows users representative or a member of some windows labor union? haha ... I didn't know there was an entity fighting for our rights to have access to win binaries!

A quick photoshop mock-up of my thoughts. Ditched the entire header including the "Aeon is a lifestyle" speech as it's not really serving much purpose. Removing the dark background section and going straight to the white background certainly makes it look cleaner. (In my opinion). I've also put the official logo in the top left, as the font that's currently there isn't quite the same as the rest of the branding. I have to admit that I prefer your solution as well, going only with the white background. Aside from the design preference, I'd also suggest to go with white or lighter colors in order to avoid the association of AEON with anything obscure, unknown. But i don't think that we should completely ditch the specs of the coin, maybe just putting them somewhere else, like in the footer?

Seems many recognised AEON as one of rare undervalued coins. Price steadily rose from 0.00013 to 0.00017 in last week. and yesterday AEON was most traded coin on Bittrex. Does this means we will soon not see AEON under $0.20?
As always, it's either up or down. To be honest, I guess it'll consolidate in the next couple of days/weeks, meaning that after rising so sweet, the price will decline. Of course, assuming that there's no major announcement during that time or someone going all in ... Nonetheless I am pretty sure that mid-term, within next months, we'll way above 0,20$. But that's just the opinion of someone mining this coin and holding a good amount ... So you better make yourself a picture

By the end of 2017 will we have Dapps? I'm confident, that there'll be several Dapps or at least some strong concepts. The guys from http://battlechain.com/ seem to be at the forefront. Considering the fact, that JavaScript has such a wide adoption, the transfer of working applications on to the blockchain will be no great deal. In solidity for example, it's a pretty manageable amount of code lines that need to be exchanged and the same will aply for Lisk.

https://lisknation.com/lisk-the-decentralization-debate-aca78ec5f819#.hbe1n2a9rProblem #1: The Lisk team holds too much voting weight and therefore Lisk is not decentralized. Problem #2: The Lisk team intends to utilize their voting weight to pay employees and hand-pick the active delegation. Problem #3: Does the Lisk team really trust the DPoS model? Lisk is a big big problem for those who invest in it. Wrong. You are simply wrong and you should feel sorry for that. #1: Lisk amount held by Lisk Team is not 51% thus they are not the driving force in the network. We investors are. And should something malliciouse happen we can and will revote delegates that fix the problem. #2: source?! #3: this is a question your simple mind asks and not a description of a problem! So please can you explain to me why you are here? A reasonable debate obviously it is not that you seek. He just copied the subheadlines from the last section of the referenced article and didn't even realise that without providing more context #3 is no problem per se. Oh man ...

What's the latest situation in regards to the website? I've gone ahead and purchased the following domain names:-
getaeon.org
myaeon.org
getaeon.io
myaeon.io
aeon.money
aeon.ninja
aeon.site
There should be something useful in this mix either for the website or other Aeon related projects (at least for the time being). Could the person who designed the website contact me so I can point one of these to the GitHub host?
Also if anyone wants to use any of these for an Aeon project then let me know.
Awesome, that's the spirit. Sammy007 designed the website, which you can find here https://github.com/sammy007/aeon-siteUp until a couple of weeks ago it was accessible via https://aeon.eurohash.net/, but that seems to be down now.
