1  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: 'Export' Button Grayed Out-0.01BTC to help me fix it and export private key on: May 25, 2017, 09:13:46 PM
Thanks, that makes sense. Let me know your BTC address and I'll send you a tip when I've managed to get it done!

First, if you have a red dot on the Trezor logo (bottom right) - yes, Electrum has a communication problem with your Trezor - check the cable.  Sometimes, it could be the laptop or PC USB connector that can be worn out or "loose" (my 7 years old laptop has that issue).

Second, even if you had the green light on the Trezor logo, you can't export private keys out of Trezor itself.

The only way you can access the private keys stored on a Trezor, is to restore the seed words into a regular Electrum wallet.   But, by doing so, you will compromised your seed words - therefore, not recommended.

Thank you. The reason that I'm asking is because I have some non-bitcoin tokens stored on it that are compatible with bitcoin addresses and private keys, so I need the private key in order to import the tokens into their native wallet.

So in your view using the wallet seed when electrum starts would do the trick and generate those private keys?
3  Bitcoin / Electrum / 'Export' Button Grayed Out-0.01BTC to help me fix it and export private key on: May 25, 2017, 06:39:33 PM
I am trying to export all the private keys from a Trezor device hooked up to Electrum.

I am using wallet --> private keys --> export

Everything works well except that when I get to the private key screen I can't actually press the 'export' button. It is grayed out and not accessible.

Can anyone help me figure out how to export these private keys?

Thanks!

Note: There is also a red dot beside the Trezor icon in the Electrum wallet. Does this means the Trezor is locked and does this relate to the issue I'm having?
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [BCAP] THE FIRST DIGITAL LIQUID VENTURE FUND - BLOCKCHAIN CAPITAL FUND on: April 26, 2017, 04:52:33 PM
I know this deal is done now but does anyone have a copy of the offering memorandum? It's not on the tokenhub site anymore and I would like to read through it to see if an investment makes sense once the token starts trading.

Feel free to PM me, and happy to pay a few dollars for a copy if there is one.

Why do Syscoin addresses in exchanges start with 'S' while in the blockexplore when searching using the txnId, addresses start with '1'?

Exchanges are using an older address scheme. The two addresses are equivalent though, they share the same private key.
6  Economy / Services / Need to have a quick chat with a dev who understand exchanges -0.1BTC for 30mins on: October 12, 2016, 07:51:00 PM
I am exploring the idea of creating a new altcoin exchange with some functionality that will be substantially different than anything currently on the market. I would like to have a quick chat with a developer who has some good experience with exchange development to run through a few ideas and see if the approach I am taking makes sense. Happy to compensate the right person accordingly, 0.1BTC for a 30min chat or prorated to whatever length of time we need.

Please PM me if you might be able to help.

Cheers.
7  Economy / Services / NEEDED – Ontario-based experienced crypto dev with full stack capabilities on: September 07, 2016, 09:09:30 PM
I am looking to hire an experienced dev to help build a new fintech company. The project is well-funded and we are looking to significantly disrupt the space.

Preference would be to work with someone based in Toronto or Southwestern Ontario. Working remotely is fine but as we build the business it will be important to meet face-to-face on several occasions which is why the location factor is important.

I would prefer a dev who can commit a significant amount of time to this project for the next 3-4 months with time requirements after this period to be discussed. We also have the budget to hire a small (1-2 person) team to support your efforts if required.

I know this isn’t much to go on but please PM me for more information and along with your message please let me know a bit about your background or send me a CV or linkedin profile. Please also indicate your compensation expectations.

I would also like to meet serious candidates in person to make sure we are fully aligned and that the project requirements make sense.

Thanks and I look forward to hearing from you.
