What happened to bter's trollbox? When I checked the site today it had disappeared, and it's always been there before. Has bter removed it to hide complaints made in it?
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] SLEVIN FREE AIRDROP - ARE YOU LUCKY ENOUGH? JOIN THE FREE-RAFFLE-AIRDROP on: June 30, 2017, 10:45:11 PM
Want to learn more about the coin and applied for Airdrop. When will we get the coins ?
After that the form will be full filled the algorithm will chose the 700 lucky address and the distribution will start

At the last raffle I went to the people who ran it won it. How will the dev prove the raffle's not fixed? if he can't this coin doesn't have a future.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ATB Coin - the world’s fastest and most secure cryptocurrency on: June 30, 2017, 10:29:04 PM
I was contacted by the Owner of this project to make a thread for them and moderate it for the period of crowdsale.

I am not involved with this project, so if you have any doubts or want to contact the owner, pm ATB Coin

I just wanted to confirm, why is that your website is the only site, when doing a Google search, that mentions anything about Herbert Hoover having any association with this project?

Is the Herbert Hoover III mentioned in the OP the same one mentioned in this wikipedia page? He died in 2010.

5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: HTMLCOIN (HTML5) NOW AVAILABLE TO THE PUBLIC on: June 11, 2017, 04:40:57 PM
Bro, I got .76 BTC worth of html in yobit. What the hell I should do with it? Is it gone?

Yes, what happens to all the coins on the other exchanges apart from bleutrade? Despite the warning there will be investors buying on yobit who haven't kept up to date with this thread. Will their coins become worthless?
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Feathercoin Reward Halving Countdown!! on: May 28, 2017, 10:44:21 PM
Feathercoin rewards are being cut from 80 per block to 40 in 52 days.

There are also alot of recent exciting developments.

Discussion of segregated witness and lightning networks. (Already have anon tx)

This time tested coin is still being supported heavily by its development team.

I didn't know feather coin had anonymous transactions. Are all its transactions anonymous? What anonymity system does it use? I know of darkcoin's system and monero's cryptonote system. Is it using something similar?
7  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bittrex: ACCOUNT_DISABLED on: October 27, 2016, 05:04:48 PM
I saw that post about a crime too but it's easy to rule out in this case.  I wonder if there was a hacking attempt against my account or something.

How long do they take to respond to a ticket?

Bittrex claims it's a maximum of 24 hours, but I'm skeptical about that. If you get unlucky it's probably longer, most of the time it's probably within a day.

Bittrex support uses Pacific Standard Time (PST) and it's now 10:00 AM PST. Its support center has eight hours left before it closes today. Hopefully you will get a reply within those eight hours.

Our normal hours of operation are 9-6pm PST.  Requests made outside of those times may encounter a slight delay.  We will respond to all support tickets no later than 24 business hours from receiving it.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is Dogecoin dying ? on: October 27, 2016, 04:52:44 PM
Doge-Ethereum is then up for work once CATE is rolling along well, and lets us move Dogecoins onto the Ethereum chain to use as with all of the contract Ethereum offers.

Is there any news about the project to integrate Dogecoins onto the Ethereum chain?

Doge had a massive pump when that project started and when it's finished Doge might get another massive pump. Unless that project gets abandoned I don't think Doge is dying.
9  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bittrex: ACCOUNT_DISABLED on: October 27, 2016, 04:13:40 PM
I get ACCOUNT_DISABLED when I try to withdraw from Bittrex.  Has anyone seen that before?  I submitted a ticket.  Are they starting to require KYC?

This redditer had the same message. Bittrex already had his ID card, but wanted more information about how he obtained the funds before it would release them. It said it had disabled his account because it suspected his deposit was related to a crime.

This is the bittrex reply:

A suspicious deposit is one where we suspect that it is related to a crime or an active law enforcement investigation. I'm going to need more information about how you got the funds.

I don't know if Bittrex is already starting to require KYC but it will sooner or later according to this article.

10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Thoughts on Krypton KR? on: October 18, 2016, 09:33:46 PM
It's not on the first page of coinmarketcap, so it's a high risk coin to invest into. Coins not in the top 100 more often than not end up getting removed from all exchanges and becoming worthless. If you get lucky one might get pumped back into the top 100 and give a good return on an investment, but mostly you lose any money invested.
