Regular person with 66 gpus here. Seriously what makes one a non-regular person? Whether you mine with 1 card of 1k cards its still profitable atm.

You should probably start by posting your current settings.

Thank you for this. My control center would not save settings even after a driver wipe/reinstall. This saved the day!

You literally gave zero details. How is anyone supposed to reply to this?
"YES GO FOR IT" ?

Simple mining won't show you profits. You check profits on the pool where you rigs are pointed.

Hello, I manage a few groups of miners for family and friends currently on Win10. I charge 15-20% to manage them and to do this I coded a small windows app that simply launches a specific bat. 15-20% it mines using my bat, then kills the miner and launches their bat for the remainder of the time. I'd like to switch to SMOS but curious if the site offers any type of API to switch groups? I could code an app to login and do it but checking if there is an API alternative first. Thanks!

You can always jump the bios chip to get it to show up again and then flash it with a known good bios.
Guide? Thx

I manage 10 rigs and just ran into an issue I have not experienced yet... I received 2x Dell branded RX470 4gb reference cards. They worked fine with the original bios but as soon as I flashed the 1500 straps now the cards are no longer recognized at all in Windows.
Win10 Gigabyte Z270XP-SLI
I tried changing PCI Gens, different slots, etc. Seems like the cards are bricked. I've flashed 50+ cards and this is the first time this has happened. What methods are you guys using to recover from something like this?
Thanks!!
Firstly the 1500MHz straps aren't the best to use... perfromance timings instead are much better. Well if you flashed 50 cards did you heard about Ati Pixel Clock? I've always had good results with 1500 straps for 4gb cards and 1750 straps for 8gb cards. Yes, I use the ati-patcher but it makes no difference as Windows doesn't see the cards at all.

Github... tons of open source miners to learn from. Look for an algo you'd like to start with and study the code available.

Dreams are great but you'd have to be able to find the cards first which is extremely hard to do right now.

I really wanted to jump in with the 0% pool fee and mine some Zcash but damn ... Miningpooluhub has the such awful luck finding blocks. It's pretty ridiculous.
On another note if I wanted to pull a longer transaction history ( longer than last 20) how would I accomplish that?
That's the beauty of luck... there is no time limit on good or bad luck. It can happen to ANY pool at ANY time. Everything evens out over time. If you leave now -- basically in trading terms, you're buying from the top and selling at the bottom. Edit: On the transaction page there are left/right arrows.

ufocoin pool is not working.
What do you mean broken? I don't see any error on my side. Sorry, it is WORKING but with a 40/45 min lag in rewards, block stats, withdrawals, etc. Now we have ~3 hours of unconfirmed blocks. Um, yea that's how it works. You don't get SHIT until the block is CONFIRMED! Block times are different for every coin and pool ops can set whatever # of blocks they want before an actual CONFIRMATION. Some coins are riskier than others. There are a lot of variables. Stop trolling in here, or at least do some research first. Good God :\

No, fee should stay the same, and MiningPoolHub won't trust his baby in the hands of others --- I wouldn't. Be happy with his progress and be patient. With an operation like this it would be near zero possibility I would let others in... there is too much to lose.. further bugs, crooks, etc. Just be happy we have an awesome pool, with a low fee, with a dev that is active on both his pool and support!!! /mic

I have strange problem that requires several reboots to resolve. My rig works fine good for days. But my location sometimes has issues with power outages. I start my rig after power recovers, however one of the gpus hashing less than usual rate (26.3 or 13 instead of 29.3 modded rate). To fix this, I need to reboot my rig several times. At first try I lose one or two gpus. I reseat their risers and problem resolved.
Then I start my rig and this time, everything is great. Problem repeats every time whenever a power outage occurs.
Any suggestions?
I would invest in a UPS maybe? If the outages are short you're probably good. If they're longer than the UPS battery will stand at least it will shut the system down correctly. Not sure why one of your gpus would show that behavior though.

I'm having issues mining the skein algo... Using MiningPoolHub's version it simply just sits there and lowers difficulty to near zero. sgminer is also using near 100% cpu as well. A look at ProcessExplorer shows 6 threads (for each GPU I assume) running "amdocl64.dll!clSetKernelExecInfo+0x1f000" as taking all the CPU. Looks like its stuck in a loop trying to make that call.
Running RX480s on this box and have tried 16.9.2 and 16.12 drivers (fresh install).
I have also tried 5+ other sgminer forks out there and only receive hardware errors, no submitted shares.
Any ideas?
EDIT: @aaronsace With you included sgminer (nh 51) all I get is hardware errors, no submits.

can you help me choose for my 2nd build?
thinking of the rx 570s or gtx 1070.
paying about .26kw/h USD

I am getting a DAG error. I have 6gb of ram and two cards of 2gb. Here is the log file https://pastebin.com/fkdDWPzQ. If someone helps me mine ethereum, I will gladly tip him in btc. You cant mine ether with 2GB cards anymore, the dag file itself is larger than that.. AFAIK Musicoin is the only Ethash you can mine with a 2GB card at this point (Not sure of UBQ's DAG size...) Its still profitable as well... check the Pools page for info.

Anyone managed to get 4xx and 5xx running on same rig? Man I think I tried about everything now.
I got 2x 470 (modded) 2x 480 (modded) 1 570 (modded)
With the Crimson 16.x.x drivers I can easily get my 470's and 480's but the darn 580 just shows as standard VGA.
I even tried the latest greatest 17.something driver and that was a mess lol. It showed all 5 cards but never would actually load the drivers correctly..
Grrr gotta be a way lol....
Yes. I have mixed rig with 480 and 570. Simply use latest AMD driver, patch it and start mining Could you explain or link to the patch please? I think your talking about skipping sig check but i have never done that. Thanks for any help Uf, I am getting sick of people who dont want to spent their time and search on google, rather spent time of others, who wants to help. Next time I will better not help. Google for atikmdag-patcher... I did spend my time googling and found many different ways to try it. I was simply asking how you did it for my benefit and of course any others reading this with same issues. I have used the patcher with the new drivers and now get past the loading drivers part. All 5 cards are now seen but one card is ALWAYS yellow triangle in device manager. I have switched ports, DDU'd and started over, everything I can come up with. So now I got all 5 cards but one is non-working. So if a 470 is failed and I change the riser to another port and reboot then a 480 will be failed for example. The other 4 will mine. Anyone else have any suggestions (and yes I am researching for an answer elsewhere) lol ALWAYS include your rig specs (all of them) and detailed error messages if you want real answers (for instance, what is the device manager error on the device?) Sounds like a mobo PCIe setting issue, however no one would know for sure without knowing what mobo you're using. My last build had a very specific bios setup (Z170A).

Curious, is SiaCoin a fixed diff? Seems like shares are being submitted too often on a full rig.
