1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: R.I.P Ethereum - The Pre-Mined ScamCoin is dead on: December 21, 2017, 12:27:41 PM
Yeah.. That crappy ethereum huh guys... Feeling pretty stupid saying it was a scam coin?

Remember that ALL coins are scam coins if you don't know what you are talking about. Now its time to reap some BCH bitches.

Ohh and if you see a red 1997 Lamborghini Diablo on TURO... You can rent it from me Cheesy (such a classic car)
2  Economy / Services / Re: Care4Me Avatar & Signature Campaign [Earn BTC & CareCoin] on: July 10, 2017, 04:41:24 PM
How will we be able to sell care coins?

Any exchanges lined up?

Do we earn care coin and BTC?
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Storing of Bitcoins is against Bitcoin. on: January 05, 2017, 08:18:40 PM
How is this even a topic? It is like saying "Saving Money is Against Money"...

Save Money

Spend Money

Bitcoin is a tool that we can use to get the things we need. It is also something we can invest in. We can use it to build projects, pay for necessities or luxuries, to have someone dumped in a lake, or just to stare at like a incapacitated 3 legged dog-goat.

If you want to hoard your coins... HOARD EM - HODL !!! I've been holding my stash for 2 1/2 years now... I will only use them in emergent situations. I only invested about 2500 bucks a few years ago and now I am with the other guys laughing at the 1000+ price again! XD
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying Drugs with Bitcoin ? on: January 03, 2017, 03:26:35 AM

5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: R.I.P Ethereum - The Pre-Mined ScamCoin is dead on: December 09, 2016, 10:49:06 PM
Ok..
And i agree Business is.. Vulgar and corrupt (as usual)

People seem to forget ALL these centralized exchanges exist to PROFIT.
They may masquerade around Crypto as Crypto Supporters
..but ALL their behaviors say otherwise.

THEY ALL add coins they should not.. for profit.
THEN run around saying they are fine upstanding supporters of crypto.

BULL SHIT !

I actually totally agree with you. The worst I have done so far is try to get some people to buy BTC... I like the idea that these guys have but I am not completely sold on their platform yet. www.cryptocentre.org

Site looks kinda trashy too. They are advertising a closed share sale on a mining and trading platform with 1% of the proceeds going back to whomever runs the show... 1% doesn't seem like a lot until you consider that they have sold almost 200k shares in 2 days... somehow... probably just another scam actually
6  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Would you consider starting to mine for BTC right now? on: December 09, 2016, 10:36:57 PM
Of course for the mining plenty of things into consideration, maintenance costs and the bitcoin price of the most important things to start mining. The price of electricity in the my place is 15 cents per kwh, so if I want to get profit the price should be hit $900, adjusted to my country's currency exchange rate.

I got you! I appreciate your thoughts and input thanks Bitcoin0916 Smiley
7  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: vodaljepa - Can someone with deep DT neg this guy? on: December 05, 2016, 11:18:13 PM
So, I'll avoid any forms and "how to report properly". Bolded words = tldr

There's more than 2 topics which have been opened against the user vodaljepa
(Main acc: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=532697
new scam project acc: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=914485)

Guy's a serial scammer. He opens projects, then closes them without any notice and runs away with people's money.
I lost like a dollar from a service he was running, a URL shortener. I didn't pay attention, since it's 1 dollar.
What gave me a good laugh though is that he told me that 100% of my traffic was VPN/proxy. I knew I shouldn't waste my time with him after that.

I've been keeping a close eye on that guy, since it's pretty easy to follow his scam patterns. He uses same scripts for his projects, same language, same spelling mistakes, same attack methods and many other things which can identify him in a crowd of 1000 posters.

Now, he's running a "ad network", https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1668010.0 , where innocent advertisers buy ads and website owners lose money from him when he vanishes.

He started a personal attack against me, calling me a scammer for running offerwalls. This is the negative trust he gave me:
Quote
Scammer who runs offerwall, he makes $25 per lead and gives you $0.05 from it, scammer and full out fraudster
You can obviously see that even the dumbest troll wouldn't say that.

Can someone with a high DT neg him once for good, so people wake the hell up?

I wrote something on his scam adnet thread, he deleted it, and PMd me with this:
http://prntscr.com/debhwh

It's obvious as hell he's a lowlife.

Forget that friggin noise... Then he has the nerve to come back and send you a jerk message like that? Does he use any signature coding or keys that could be used to identify his practices? If so I would be more than happy to start a trace on him for a small fee. That goes to anyone who has dealt with scammer dip n dodge bullshizt. If you want a couple of "people" to go look around for other "people" I would love to talk business with you Smiley . If you are a scammer, you should be dragged out into the street of your locale and publicly executed for defacing human existence.

I got reamed pretty bad one time from this multiply BTC thing I found online. I knew it probably was a scam and am dumb for giving them anything but the fun part arose once we were able to attain location based off the server they used for their site. The guy that ran it continuously logged into it from the same location over and over with the same IP address and was easily identified. Granted there are ways to mask ones self to prevent many methods of identification but it never hurts to have "people" on your side that can dig into the issue as far as it will go Smiley

Sorry to hear about your situation either way. There are way too many stories like this in this section of the forum. It is quite alarming!
8  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: SELLING CHEAP COMPUTERS FOR THE HOLIDAYS TO GOOD HOMES!!!! on: December 05, 2016, 09:31:18 PM
To answer the seller about a bad return. I do case by case. If the buyer is a new guy with no prior record I tend to side with the seller.

Let's say we do 10 sales and 9 are good the 10th is a return and it is legit.

This would show me you are a good seller.

So sale 11 happens the buyer returns a gutted laptop.

I am going to side with you the seller.

Let's say you do 10 sales and four people say the gear was bad. And I happen to know a few of the people from prior business or escrow most likely I will side with them.

Once you do enough good sales most people would no longer want escrow and you can then trade freely like I do .

Getting started as a seller here takes 5-10 good deals a few trust points from good sale etc.

If you get a buyer that wants gear from you send me a pm.  As to who pays the escrow more often then not the buyer pays the escrow fee.
I can say at this point in time every escrow I did either ended in a good sale or a good return.

And to that I say good deal! I am looking but most of the people here so far are not interested in these dated computers so it seems.... We still have some more stuff that will get put on here soon though...

Anyone have any interest in 1TB 7200 RPM Desktop and laptop hard drives?

Also have a ton of DDR 3 laptop and desktop ram...
9  Other / Off-topic / Re: I'm a Rocket Scientist on: December 04, 2016, 04:18:35 AM
OK not really but I've read the "rocket scientists" have been lying about how rockets work; I've learned that rocket engines don't actually work in a vacuum.

Of coarse you ask "but why would they lie, I don't understand". They lie because they're hiding the fact the Earth is flat and there is no space to travel to or in. We're inside a giant underwater terrarium and atmospheric life is an artificially created novelty.

Need proof? Differently shaped rocket nozzles produce varying degrees of thrust depending on atmospheric pressure.
Wait... the earth is flat?
Seems you missed a lot of stuff, earth is flat ofc  Undecided
I sincerly hope that nobody really believes this. I just assume these people are trolls.

Gotta be kidding us dude ... the earth is flat ... the Hubble Space Telescope uses fish-eye lens hence why we think its rounded

HAHAHA I just want one person to make me a renditioned picture of earth in space as a flat surface... please?
10  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: SELLING CHEAP COMPUTERS FOR THE HOLIDAYS TO GOOD HOMES!!!! on: December 04, 2016, 04:10:05 AM
Sure! Sorry about the confusion there. That was my error Smiley https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1697875.0
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: R.I.P Ethereum - The Pre-Mined ScamCoin is dead on: December 03, 2016, 08:40:14 PM
Gonna have to agree with the Russian floating space can here. The coin is definitely "dead"

I don't think it will totally disappear but it will slowly die off like LTC did. I had LTC at almost $20 each and slowly watched it bleed out to where it is now. Luckily my LTC is now in the form of BTC Cheesy
12  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: SELLING CHEAP COMPUTERS FOR THE HOLIDAYS TO GOOD HOMES!!!! on: December 03, 2016, 08:13:54 PM
So the item is 0.5BTC or $100 shipped like stated in post? little confusing...because 100$ is like 0.13BTC atm...
Would be nice if you clarify and maybe post some photos...and use escrow...just sayin'
cheers

Sorry the desktops on the other post are for the around $100 price. These laptops are .5 BTC the desktops were .125
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do people around you think about Bitcoin ? on: December 02, 2016, 02:53:52 AM
So, what do people around you (relatives, co-workers, co-ed, friends...) think about Bitcoin ? Please, indicate your country, so this way I'll be able to make a synthesis about what people think about Bitcoin.

For me : I come from France. My relatives think that it's criminals' tool and that since they can't touch money they don't trust it (note that those same persons are pro-banks, where you can't touch money). My friends think that it is useless and that it has no future. Both of them agree that scare them the most is the Bictoin's price volatibility.

So not so positive Undecided. I hope that you aren't in the same situation.

They think it is a gigantic pyramid scheme devised to take all of our money..... Until I talk to them for about an hour... Then they think BTC is the only way to survive >.<
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Etherium discussion thread on: December 02, 2016, 02:44:57 AM
your wrong section sir
this section only about annoucment ,crowdsale and ico selling
if you want discussion about ethrem you can write in altcoin discussion and you want about disccusion , ethereum price you can visit speculation(altcoin)

Sorry about that I was wrong with the spelling and wrong with the thread location!!! My bad.

Thank you to the others that gave explanation of the currency and their opinion.
There is a place for it, you can discuss it in his ANN thread or speculation section but seems like there was a similar thread in alt discussion.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=428589.0

yes thats the ANN thread.

OP will learn everything about the token, i'm one of the supporters and had been keeping my ETH even after it dip. right now is definitely the right time to buy as it cost $8. it would be too late if you buy at $15.

Welcome to the New Beginning
When the grand experiment that is bitcoin began, the anonymous wizard desired to test two parameters- a trustless, decentralized database enjoying security enforced by the austere relentlessness of cryptography and a robust transaction system capable of sending value across the world without intermediaries. Yet the past five years years have painfully demonstrated a third missing feature: a sufficiently powerful Turing-complete scripting language. Up until this point, most innovation in advanced applications such as domain and identity registration, user-issued currencies, smart property, smart contracts, and decentralized exchange has been highly fragmented, and implementing any of these technologies has required creating an entire meta-protocol layer or even a specialized blockchain. Theoretically, however, each and every one of these innovations and more can potentially be made hundreds of times easier to implement, and easier to scale, if only there was a stronger foundational layer with a powerful scripting language for all of these protocols to build upon. And this need is what we seek to satisfy.

Ethereum is a modular, stateful, Turing-complete contract scripting system married to a blockchain and developed with a philosophy of simplicity, universal accessibility and generalization. Our goal is to provide a platform for decentralized applications - an android of the cryptocurrency world, where all efforts can share a common set of APIs, trustless interactions and no compromises. We ask for the community to join us as volunteers, developers, investors and evangelists seeking to enable a fundamentally different paradigm for the internet and the relationships it provides.

Who is Behind Ethereum?

Our primary core devs are:

Vitalik Buterin → Inventor of Ethereum, protocol developer and researcher
    Gavin Wood →Lead C++ developer
Jeffrey Wilcke → Lead Go developer

Fantastic guys thank you for directing me to that thread! I have a bag of em and I bought em cheap... If it gets to $15 again I would literally die :3
15  Other / Off-topic / I want to fight you in Dark Souls 3 XBOX ONE for crypto on: December 02, 2016, 02:30:01 AM
I would like to set up a dueling system where people can bet their crypto currency on Dark Souls 3 Duels

Fight to the death

No running away like a coward. Fight or surrender your stake

We can have one of the more reputable members hold the coins bet in escrow till the battles are completed.

We can set up the fights using the password system to ensure we can battle.

I would think maybe the betting should start off small unless requested otherwise.

We could do this for other games as well

We can also record the matches for verification.

I would prefer someone with videogame experience to handle rules and escrow to ensure fairness is met.

We can also set it up so that if there are glitches or terrible lag, the battle is null. This can be proven by recording the match using xbox's easy "record that" feature.

I have a group of about 20 people that would like to do this and we wouldn't mind having more.

We would like to develop the idea into a privately hosted ranking service where people can see where they stand statistically and how much they have won, staked, or whatever...

Also we would have to be smart about the situation because there are undoubtedly tons of rules and regulations via Microsoft.

I do not want anyone to get their account banned or get kicked from the DS3 servers lol..

HELP ME OUT HERE!!!

comments about this being stupid or useless to you are not going to help people. this thread is for what it is! Lets pony up and see who will put it all on the line...

discussing this further via PM or email is also acceptable.

You can request to talk about escrow or duel requests via PM or email as well..

I accept all duel requests... even for free Cheesy

Tried searching for a thread discussion pertaining to Etherium and Ether but could not seem to accomplish this as a newbie... what a noob right?

So my concerns with etherium are based around the split and around the speculation that etherium is not nearly as secure as they claimed it to be...

I actually have a relative stake invested in ether and am curious if anyone else out there has been experimenting with it or has a sound knowledge of the currency that would like to share their thoughts.

I want to believe that it will be the next big thing and I do not want to liquidate my stock or convert to BTC just yet..... Someone tell me I shouldn't do that! Cheesy
18  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Would you consider starting to mine for BTC right now? on: December 01, 2016, 11:51:12 PM
Thanks guys!

Yeah I found it hard to believe that they were able to overclock them that high. And the fan issue isn't an issue if you have a server room with regulated temps. We keep ours veeeery low lol... I'm surprised something hasn't froze over in there yet.

But it would be sweet to pay someone for knowledge on how to get a s7 over 10TH even if it glowed lol Cheesy
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying Drugs with Bitcoin ? on: December 01, 2016, 10:13:38 PM

20  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: SELLING CHEAP COMPUTERS FOR THE HOLIDAYS TO GOOD HOMES!!!! on: December 01, 2016, 10:04:59 PM
I escrow.

OgNasty escrows.

If you look at my trust or OgNasty's trust we have done this often.

I would charge 1% and 0.0005 for tx fees.

So. The cost for a 0.5 pc is.  0.5 + .005 + .0005 or .5055 total

I hold the 0.5 until the buyer gets the gear. The buyer has 1 day to test it.

I release the 0.5 to the seller.

Or if the gear is doa I hold the coin the buyer returns the gear. Once seller gets a return I refund the buyer.

This is fantastic... And yes it looks like you have done this for people before. I would be most interested in working with you to make this a little easier on everyone. Should I just PM you when I have a sale?

Furthermore what happens if someone gets the machine and they strip it and send it back... I hate to say it but it does happen...

And to the faker guy above... buy a computer and see for yourself! We really appreciate your valuable information though...

easy enough to prove. package sent will have net weight and if return package is significantly differnt then its easy enough to prove that it was stripped assuming it wasnt sent in that condition

You can strip the processor ram and the dedicated pci-e gfx chip without losing any weight... and the variance could be attributed to the scammer not adding as much packing material back in. We lost some money on ebay due to this method of fraud... I think they call it return fraud. But anyhow we will just have to hope for the best in our fellow BTC believers right Wink

Thanks for your help again Smiley
