1  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Instawallet claim process on: July 20, 2013, 11:28:49 AM
Got all my coins back. Took "a while", but they kept their word and shorted out a very complicated situation.

I am really happy now. Thank you!

Hi Boussac

I have been distancing myself from the forums as the constant need for updates has been killing me.

Can you please give us a mini update on progress, including how many wallets have been claimed, how many haven't, and any info on duplicate wallets.

Thanks

Even though we are extremely busy, everything is looking on schedule for 1st of July.

Thanks for the reply. Smiley

I approve! Smiley

I can't understand why is this taking so long. I only had one wallet with less than 20 BTC in it. I provided them with my personal gmail and bitcointalk forum nick.

There should be absolutly no doubt that I am a legitemate owner of those BTC. I understand that it has been less than a week since the claim process started but three months is way too long to wait.

Value is crashing and at this point of view the BTC could be worth next to nothing after three months of waiting...

Is the July 1st the earliest possible date to get our funds back or is it the date for last claimer to get his/her funds back?

In other words, if I made the claim in first 24 hours of the process starting, when will my coins be refunded?

English is not my first language, so the questons may be little strangly formed.

Why was my simple question beeing ignored Sad

7  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Instawallet Claims - Who can access? / Who gets 404 error? on: April 12, 2013, 08:26:45 AM
I personnally tested my urls on the claim form and it worked.
If you are getting a 404 error it could be that your url is made up.
All instawallet urls that have received transactions are in the database.

My URL is not made up and I can't acces to the claim process.  Angry

Okay I got it now. You can't use your bookmarks. You need to go to the instawallet.org and paste /w/xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx to the url.

This is so wrong... I would have sold my coins last night when the drop started. Now I will benefit nothing from them.

Biggest bullshit of all time. I bet they already cashed out few millions out of our funds..

Hi

I am one of the unfortunate Instawallet users. In fact I am a total newbie in the whole bitcoin scene.

About 3 weeks back I found out the bitcoin value was rising sky high and I remembered having around 20 Bitcoins on certain site.

I didn't make any specific research about bitcoin wallets (would have done.. I know) and ended up sending all of the funds to this Instawallet online wallet.

Yet again I kinda forgot about the coins until last weekend.  I was cheerful when I noticed the value was risen up to almost $200 (almost $220 atm.) untill I tried to entry my wallet and found out about this whole mess.

This is really frustrating especially 'cause I am not the richest fellow and I could have used this money now.

I am sure my losses were not the biggest ones but as the value of bitcoin is rising as I speak the losses are growing all the time.

And even if I will get my funds back the value could have crashed to the ground untill then.

Isn't there any way to speed things up? I am willing to give my private information etc. or anything to get my coins back asap.
