Thats pretty good, the distributed marketplace was the original feature that would set silkcoin apart, I hope this goes forward, though I realize it should take some time to get it working decently, but try to launch it as soon as it is in a state it can be used hey, is anyone working on that idea of a distributed marketplace?
I have recently purchased very innovative software, that is currently under development. The developer is very keen to tailor it to suit our needs. It will allow users to hold and type of coin they like, have multiple wallets of each, apply multisig to payments, choose any graphics theme they like, and be able to buy and sell p2p with only a public key. The server does not hold any private key data, and if in the event of an attack, all database is backed up, remotely wiped and sms response goes to dev team. Security is currently being worked on involving the system of escrow between trades or bets, as well as multiple ideas of payment systems and trade arrangements. Users will also have the ability to trade silk for any other cryptocurrency we add, as well as the discussed usd payment processors such as perfect money, nix money, webmoney, moneygram etc. This is an entirely web based application currently and of course looking to move forward into mobile once developed fully. If anyone is interested in helping to build this project further, please comment or pm me as it is in its earliest of development stages in regards to Silk and a distributed marketplace.

It doesnt, you can send coins to addresses that all belong to you, for the blockchain these transactions are not different from transactions to addresses that other people control. This and https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=681725.msg7947679#msg7947679 puts me at ease that you are reasonably committed. I do think its really important that everyone holding send transactions to a few different addresses in his wallet and keep staking 24/7, it would help a lot, even if everyone only do so with a part of their coins. As has been stated many times in this thread, staking is important to the health of the coin. Everyone should take a few minutes to create some transactions in their wallets over the course of a few days and we'll never have any issues. But this require trusting people. I was thinking automated wallets using staking to generate coins could be used.

hey, was 1.3.4 a hard-fork inducing update or can I stay on 1.3.3 if I dont care to use veribit and etc now?
1.3.4 was not a hard fork, just a buy now button Thanks, now get back to coding useful things and forget about people and their panicking lol.

I think its important to establish a real world usage for the coin too (if the software is at a stable point). Something like either a clearnet or deepweb general marketplace using the coin.

I am hoping that the wallet issues get corrected. Now it is out of sync again, I have never had issues like this with any other wallet.
Just deleted everything to start over.
Can you post a log file to pastebin? Another user posted his. It was helpful, but I need a few problematic case studies to figure out what is going on. I'm back on the grid now. If I can find a pattern with the wallets that are not syncing, then I can get this fixed.

Thats a good move to help the network, thank you. The StealthCoin team would like to introduce to you The StealthCoin Great Stake Challenge!
Here are the rules:- The person at the end of each 24 hour period with the closest value to 1 new staking transaction per minute will be determined to be the winner. Yes, we're shooting for lots of PoS transactions!
- Contest will begin 7/14 4pm pdt and will run for 72 hours (starting block # will be added at this time)
- Each evening at 8pm pdt the winner from the previous day will be determined (3 winners total)
- Each winner will receive 5,000 XST!!
- To enter you must post the link to your address in this thread at the end of each of the 3 days AFTER 4pm pdt but BEFORE 4pm pdt the following day (ex. http://explorer.argakiig.us/address/S8knUucS6iFwAt1S8BmRpiTykqQfRLcape)
- Each user account and address may only win 1 day (max 5,000 XST)
- Please note that the spacing will be factored in. It is not enough just to make all of the transactions at the beginning of the 24 hour period. They must be well spaced, with a 1 minute target.
- Payout will be to the staking address.
