Everyone have different approach, and I like to hear about plans about mining
It's a good plan you have, and not different than mine
I'm very close to ROI my cards, and I always consider to sell the cards before any crash, I learned this in 2017-2018 and I'm using now, it's a way to reduce the risks and enjoy both ways of profit
And I do this because I have 0.15 USD electricity cost, maybe with less than 0.10 cents I would try another plan
I don't know about the timing, maybe you sold to early, maybe not, but attention to your plan to buy your rig after a crash, why would you buy again if mining won't be profitable in a bear market?
How do you define "profitability" of mining?  Are you selling your coins to $ immediately? |

Hello,
One of my rig (570 4gb) already running smooth for 10 days. But today suddenly GPU 1 become 3 mh/s from 29 mh/s. And the system is unstable, after 10 minutes alywas hangs.
I already reinstalled the driver, set the virtual memory to 200000. Nothing changed, GPU 1 still 3 mh/s.
Any clue about my rig problems?

You need Windows 10 + drivers 20.4.2. Already use win 10 & drivers 20.4.2. But still got the same problems. In AMD Radeon software put GPU 1 to compute and restart the rig. I tried it and it worked |

The point of mining is making your bag full with coins, not selling them right away. Just shut down, there will be difficulty drop. more coins for me  |

Check the pins where you bridged your PSU. I had the same problem and had to put those 2 pins closer.

The only thing that matters in mining is the time of selling your coins.. If you mine and keep your coins until ETH goes back to 1000$ you hit the bingo... You should NEVER watch what is the best coin to mine at current prices... (you should only if you are selling coins right away into $) This is the thing most miners are not capable to think about it.. Thats why every 3rd guy is crying about how shitty is to be a miner nowadays |

Mining is always profitable, even if the all coins are worth 10$.. The only thing that matters is the TIME when you sell the coins. If you are morron and you are selling @ this time, keep crying how this is unprofitable You have to learn the lessong on hard way like I did, and you will never cry about how mining is NOT profitable.. I sold 75 ETH @ 10-15$.. I should hang up myself right? |
