Why the rush?
You can trade on TradeSatoshi or Nanex if you really feel the urge to.

People should understand that BTCP is a long-term project, not some pump and dump fork.
Hence why reading the Whitepaper is important.

If you want to sell low, be my guest. Otherwise wait until at least the full SegWit support is implemented.

Anyone know how to send or receive BTCP coins without identifying the sender/receiver/amount of the transaction?

You need to download the full node wallet for viewing and sending shielded transactions.
BTCP-Electrum wallet doesn't support this yet.

Not trying to hide... its the feature of "bitcoin private" coin and why BTCP exist in the first place.  Just trying to learn how to use it.

Thank you kahc!  Will give this full node wallet a try.

I've tried the full node wallet.  This works great!  The only item is visible is the transaction ID from Z address (Private) to Z address on the blockchain.  No send from, send to address, nor amount, just a transaction ID.  It's like completely nothingness from the block explorer.  Except in my wallet, I saw the amount came into my wallet.

From the full node BTCP wallet, you do need to use Z address (Private Address) for both receiving and transmitting to have nothing visible (from/to/amount) on blockchain.  If you are transferring from T (Public address), you still see your T address sending out coins, but won't know which Z address you send funds to.  Or if you send from Z address to T address, you still see incoming coins, but don't know where the address coins came from.

This is probably as close to true privacy as it gets.  Kudos to BTCP team!!!

Can you make this feature available on Electrum wallet as well?  I think it may get more adoption of BTCP.

This isn't looking good that all the others markets have made successful come back and are rebounding while BTCP isn't showing any kind of bounce back. My first thoughts were may be market is running under external pressure and will be doing better but all the day long today nothing happened.

Market has not rebounded from what I see. All of my Alts are trading about 30% down from last week: ZCL, BTCP, DOGE, BTCZ, and HUSH.

BTCP is an exceptional coin because of the huge number of devs behind it, somewhere around 70 devs.

Curious to see where it goes. Normally when alts trade flat for a long time they suddenly go up.

Another fork of Bitcoin? How do you want to proceed further? Mining has already begun, on what pools is it possible?

Bunch of pools.  But the highest concentration of miners I was was suprnova (btcp.suprnova.cc) and best chance of getting consistent payout.  Remaining pools can be found here:

What is it to offer other than being a zcash clone

BTCP is a dual fork, first of its kind, with the ultimate goal of having a DEX (decentralized exchange) with BTCP trading pairs built into it. If they manage to do that, it would be a huge thing.

Decentralized exchange is a big term right now but most projects still owe the public to deliver what they are talking about. I will only believe that there is a DEX once there is one that I can personally use.
I like the Ethereum decentralized exchange(IDEX), but I agree about believing once seeing. It will be sweet if it does happen.

IDEX is alright, that is true, but the problem is that you are limited to Ethereum tokens and can't trade against Bitcoin and co.

Is there any value to dual fork ZCL and ETH ?  I mean BTCP was a dual fork from ZCL and BTC.  Providing privacy to ETH may provide some value as well.

Ask for listing on this one,
https://www.cryptaldash.com/new-coin-listing
Please do it when the exchange is still small and not too greedy to ask for high listing fees.

I read a tweet a while ago that BTCP will be listed on HitBTC.

Anyone here knows anything about this?

Good luck!
