Well that was quick. Sold out in 7.5 minutes.

Were you able to see how many they sold?
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [NEW] Bitmain Antminer A3 on: January 17, 2018, 06:08:24 AM
I'm not understanding the algorithm that it uses, can anyone find much information about it?

Sai Coin is the main thing you'd be mining on this algo

I think ZEC, Zash.   I lookup a profit calculator, it was $ 83 per month.   Not good for $ 2400 machine..

Pass

Use whattomine.com and set the hashrate and algo to see profits
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Bitmain looks like they're releasing a 15GH/s DASH miner called the AntMiner D3 on: August 09, 2017, 01:59:54 AM
Does anyone have any idea how many D3s are going to be released in the past 3 batches? I was doing some calculations on difficulty and hashrate and came up with 1 GH/s adds about 22.5 to difficulty. So, one D3 would add 337.5 at 15 GH/s. I'm trying to see if it would be worth getting some in their next release.
Rumor has it;

Batch 1 = 200 units
Batch 2 = 3000 units
Batch 3 = 3500 units

If so....by your calculations an additional 2,328,750 Difficulty from current?

Real numbers are:
B1: 250 07/18/2017
B2: 3300 07/20/2017
B3: 35000 08/03/2017

That can't be correct. I'm fairly certain that I personally know of more than 250 units being delivered from batch 1. I'd believe 2500. Also, those batch 3 numbers are completely bogus too. The 35000 number was derived from querying some web hooks on Bitmain's site and somebody made the assumption that it represented units sold and units remaining. The people spreading this FUD are either wrong or just trying to scare others into not purchasing so that the initial batches can be more profitable for longer.

35000 units were placed in stock for the last batch. Around 25k already paid. The rest, expired USD orders. That's why this batch only accept BTC and LTC.

If you don't trust my numbers, i'll come back in November and we'll see the hash rate.

5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Signatum - New Algorithm - Fair Launch - No Premine - Cryptopia on: July 27, 2017, 01:57:35 PM
Hope anyone can help me

I'm mining solo - 4 rig connected to a local wallet.

The pc refuses any new connection, tried with 2 RIG. I have to turn off any of the 4 connected rig to connect a new one to the wallet to start mining.

Any thoughts?

Thank you

Why do you want to solomine at this high difficulty? Use any pool from the list.

I own a lot of rig.

Any recommended solution? Shouldn't be a wallet issue but a windows issue.

I just mined a Block

I can see the balance in the windows wallet but in the explorer no tx is found in the wallet address.

Toughts?

You should support the development and donate 0.05BTC to become a subscriber

Version #4 will use less power and run bether on low tdp rigs. I think I will add --unlock emailadress and a small fee to trying to prevent the leaks.

60MHASH is possible on the 1080ti with more work. #3 does 54 with the latest driver and max oc.

Does it work with AMD cards? (RX xxx)
What other solution do we have for RX cards?

Can i connect more than 1 RIG to the ip same address for solo-mining?

I'm an investor and just found that the mac wallet is very cumbersome - devs please try to make it more user friendly for those who just want to receive / send XRB.

14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: New rig need motherboard 6x gpu's on: May 31, 2017, 09:23:56 PM
We decided to get this motherboard for a rig.  Does anyone know how well this will work with our 6x rdx 480 rig?  - MSI Performance Gaming Intel Z170A LGA 1151 DDR4 USB 3.1 ATX Motherboard (Pro Carbon)

I've gotten 7 cards working on this card. Just need to update to the most recent bios. If you're running 480s, then you shouldn't have driver issues as long as your using 16.x.x.

Which cards have "driver issues" in this mobo?
Does 6x RX 580 works good in this mobo?
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: MSI Z170A GAMING PRO CARBON 7GPU on: April 27, 2017, 01:09:26 PM
Hello,

I flashed with cReepas bios mod but a problem keeps happening.
Device manager see the 7 GPU and the UEFI OS boot perfect (w10) everything seems to be Ok.

Then i run Claymore, when it's setting DAG for GPU0, it gives error:
GPU 0, OpenCL error -4 (0) - cannot create DAG on GPU

Sometimes it's GPU0, GPU2, GPU3...
The thing is that Claymore won't work with 7 GPU, just with 6.

After it start mining, WATCHDOG Error and the miner restart.

Have 2 RIG with this error, both of them with cReepas bios mod.

When i disable 1 GPU in device manager (anyone), Claymore start mining perfectly.

I'm using Crimson 16.9.2. Win 10. Sap Nitro+ RX 480 8GB OC. Z170A Carbon. EVGA 1600w. 4GB DDR4. Intel G4400.

What do you think guys? Why is this happening?

Added cReepas to skype btw
