1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A new malware designed to beat 2-fa authentication on: February 01, 2019, 02:22:33 PM
https://www.newsbtc.com/2019/01/31/cryptocurrency-scam-mac/

"The software steals credentials, including browser cookies, to allow access to cryptocurrency exchange accounts. CookieMiner, as the malware is known, targets exclusively Mac users owing to the cross-device functionality of Apple’s products.
In addition to stealing login details and creatively subverting security precautions, the CookieMiner malware also uses the victim’s machine to covertly mine an obscure digital asset called Koto.
...
Google Chrome and Apple Safari cookies are stolen.
Saved usernames and credit card information from Chrome are stolen.
Text messages backed up to Mac are stolen from victims’ iPhone.
Browser cookies are stolen to defeat login anomaly detection.
...
With this combination of login credentials and cookies, attackers can often bypass the two-factor authentication process protecting accounts.
...
CookieMiner also installs mining software on the infected machine. Palo Alto Networks claim that the program is made to look like a piece of Monero-mining software. However, instead of mining the most frequently cryptojacked asset, it sets Mac users’ machine mining Koto, another privacy-focused cryptocurrency associated with Japan that can be mined using just a CPU."
For you to get access on google chrome you should have the intelligence of thousands of website developers and programmers. For someone to steal someone's phone saved information there must be a bait or device control. Hijacking can be done using finest computer with program on it and i don't think just someone could do that to leading technology companies more of like movie twists.
2  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to keep your funds secured? on: February 01, 2019, 11:33:58 AM
I always keep my funds fully secured because i can't keep my funds in any exchanges like fork delta, etherdelta.com and other decentralized exchange. But some centralized exchanges binance, kucoin, and houbi also can you keep in those.

If some one is a daily trader and require funds then using multiple secured exchanges is recommended . Also for people who are long term holders and do not require it daily then better to store if offline so that you do not have to worry about the stolen or theft that might happen .
This is what am i doing with my coins, I often use various exchanges to avoid getting hacked or lose funds. Even for my bitcoin i have bits stocked on many exchanges in case any on my exchanges fails to secure it then i have my fall back but i guess the disadvantage of using that kind of strategy is that you are paying much more fees than it should be.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Future of Bitcoin on: January 31, 2019, 11:25:02 AM
The future of bitcoin is very bright. Because people of all over the world involving themselves in online virtual currency, they are interested in using Bitcoin as their daily purposes. Shopping, shipping, travelling, marketing, trading, gambling, online casino are managed by Bitcoin and others online virtual currency.
Indeed! as you can see the price of bitcoin it is so much far from its price about 4 -5 years ago meaning there is really an significant development for bitcoin plus the countless adaptation from different big named companies around the globe. There is really a bright future not just for bitcoin but the whole blockchain system and its covered matters.
4  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: day trading is like having sex on: January 30, 2019, 10:01:58 AM
My friend just quote this one. I think he is right

Day trading is like having sex.

''Get in and out as much and as fast as possible to get satisfied maximally.''

I think this exactly explains day trading. I am a day trader myself. I rather get in and out of the market 50-100 times a day and take small profits with smaller amounts of my balance than trying to chase a couple percent in 1 trade.
What a funny analogy between trading and sex. " Get in and out as much as possible" this just explains the man's job when having sex where we get satisfaction when we done it correctly, however this will not always give you a win just like trading or what we call "Mood". It could easily done by anyone but does everyone enjoy it ? i think not
5  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what technology does Binance and Bitmex use to trigger trades so fast on: January 29, 2019, 11:24:57 AM
The lightening fast trades in binance and bitmex look amazing. What technology makes them so super fast.
What keeps the trade on binance and bitmex is the high trade volume of coins available. Binance and Bitmex are top ranks exchanges and top performing exchanges now, no wonder there are lots of trader engaging to them. Just imagine a one stop shop that has a variety of goods/services that you can buy easily, more likely ' buy n go' scenario.
6  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Makaka ahon pa ba ang market? on: January 27, 2019, 11:13:36 AM
7  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Ready to Jump in Crypto. Again! (Looking for Advise) on: January 27, 2019, 07:02:45 AM
BlackFor3st
I absolutely agree with you. At the moment, more and more scammers appear in the cryptosphere. It is very difficult to find a really real project in which the profit would be stable.
As time goes by legitimacy is getting vague as the scammers are scattered all throughout the internet. It is really difficult to find legit projects to invest right now because of the issue that is why i am favor for Security Token Offering in replace for Initial Coin Offering for more secured and safe investing. Given the risks on this market precautions are still up for all experienced and not.
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Samsung S10 Embedded with Cryptocurrency wallet on: January 26, 2019, 09:27:40 AM
It can create positive impact since if a big company trust this market, for sure the consumer will also trust it.This is a big move for samsung hopefully it can create the pump in the market so we can now have a better trend again, hopefully Apple will do the same
This only means that cryptocurrencies are being recognize by big named companies such as Samsung. The technology innovation is beyond our expectation and really advance than we thought. I guess if this is going to be in mainstream other technology company will really adapt this changes on smartphone and cryptocurrencies as well as the views of people towards the crypto.
9  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to $10 million? on: January 26, 2019, 06:58:39 AM
These guys say that if there's another global economic crisis like there was in 2008 that the price of Bitcoin can go through the roof:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nShdlDc2B6M
There is no way bitcoin could hit a $10000000 mark even there is a economic crisi. There is no way people will just move from fiat to cryptocurrency, because there is crisis and so the decision on that time would just be fatal for them and the government will lend a hand of crypto-industry if that happens most probably the decentralized will be centralized.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are ICO's Dead? on: January 25, 2019, 02:32:46 PM
NOPE

I say - they are ALIVE!

Yeah you hear me right!

They are ALIVE because they can no longer sleep on one ear knowing funds will come in regardless

They are ALIVE because they focus on building the technology

They are ALIVE because the market requires this

We are going through a maturing phase - the strong will survive and they will deliver.

No one will remember the ones who quit - no matter how strong they presented themselves to be

People will remember the ones who stayed and delivered.

I am part of the www.elrond.com team

Our prototype is now opensource and very soon we will deliver the first version of the testnet.

I believe so, since there are lots of risks that contains the ICO in such a way that all of it scams its investors there is a way that investors may come to end up not investing anymore. There's this Security Token Offering which has more advantages than Initial Coin Offering, this STO is move for ICO to change. STO is much more secured and safe since before having a token the company/ developers must have an back up asset ( tangible ones) so that investors must have their fall back if the STO fails.
11  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Should i trade on this market ? on: January 25, 2019, 11:38:32 AM
if you want to trade on a bitcoin coin, besides bitcoin if you trader you will definitely suffer a loss, now I trade on bitcoin coins, looking for profit in the trading market is very difficult now, I will try to find profits in the trading market
everyone has their own level of concern about the current problem whether they really feel that now the market is experiencing a decline or is it still good for investment
Every trader has different perspective on looking the market whether it is good or bad, Yes it is but somehow there are just obvious time where trading is not really advisable because of sudden declines. For me up til now, trading is not a big thing to do now. If you lost from the last decline then waiting is a great choice to avoid further losses you had last time.
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Whats your most common uses for cryptocurrencies? on: January 24, 2019, 07:15:19 AM
I use it as my savings, instead of storing my funds in the bank I prefer to buy coins and store it in my safe wallet then never spend it and just keep it as my savings. Having Crypto gives me full control of my funds without needing third trusted party like banks. This made me feel more secure of my asset and even expect greater return in the future.
We're same i don't buy goods online with my cryptocurrency instead i use it as my back up money in case my wallet goes empty then i can sell it right away. I trust it more than banks do with my secured money on them although i have banks also where my fiat money are stored there are still risks like system glitch that i experienced once.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin ever exist in currency notes? on: January 23, 2019, 02:56:16 PM
The existence of ATMs in several countries is only to overcome the problem of difficulties in transactions because when making a transaction not everyone receives payment in the form of bitcoin so that this ATM is very necessary to convert bitcoin into money.
I also think they have bitcoin atm because their government are open on blockchain system so that corruption rate will decrease. The use of bitcoin is very efficient and not new when people are into it, just so happen that there are lots of scammed where bitcoin becomes the bait and lots of people also are against to it.
14  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 365 day 100$ trading challenge. 80% profits in less than a month!!!! on: January 23, 2019, 11:12:40 AM
This is a great trading strategy tho. It is really difficult to trade these days but you just did a 80% profit just WOW! I guess challenging yourself will able you to do this kind of profit rather than just merely trading in expectance of like 5-10% profit. Choosing of coin would be a decider for this kind of challenge, also time is your enemy here.
15  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Must we always Preach about Bull Markets? on: January 22, 2019, 12:48:21 PM
I feel that we own ourselves the truth and Nothing but to tell ourselves the truth. i am Not a good trader but i have always been following the cryptomarket. ever since we experienced the Huge bull Market of December 2017/ January 2018. it has been waves and waves of a crypto bull market predictions by our professionals Here and there. even bloggers, you-tube channels and so on but yet, the reverse has been the case. the bitcoin market slump from 19k to 3.5k.
Totally an abysmal failure. if this business was organised and managed by a centralized body, i felt that it would has SHUT Down.  Billions was lost to scams and to some fast and sharp traders.
Therefore,i will suggest for friends and Newbies here THAT Are yet to Master this Market to stay away from predictions because you will sincerely burn. you will definitely loose your Money.  Please Be smart, stay safe. Enjoy your Money while you have it.  Cool.
I don't think the word " expert " is right on this industry since there are no degree on people's longness here in the forum. There are just experienced ones but not an expert, they still uncertain here on this kind of market. It is really uncertain for all of us, and guess what we are all blinded on expected profit last 2018 and that brought us to slump. 2018 telling us not to rely on this kind of market.
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Let's kick some bear ass on January 30th! on: January 22, 2019, 10:45:44 AM
It's a lovely idea, but no it won't work. Even if all the members on this forum decided to purchase some BTC on 30/01 it would not affect the price, in fact, it would barely scratch the surface and as someone mentioned earlier the whales would just find a way to spoil the party.
Even if people follows this i doubt some or many will just take advantage of the price, remember not all bitcoin holders are on this forum and they could make the market down instead. Let just bitcoin be and the investors be as the market is kind of untrusted right now and putting money is just a waste. Many have lost and if they see the price is increasing they might take that opportunity to gain back. it's a big NO for me.

18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin holders must remain calm on: October 26, 2018, 10:19:52 AM
I have seen so many people claiming to be HOLDERS, just because they hold their bitcoins as long as the market falls like a few months, they call it that even though their true nature still feels uneasy when negative news arrives and the market does not show positive movement according to what they expected and led to panic. I think true HOLDERS are those who really hold their Bitcoin up to the time limit they specify or how much the coin they hold will grow regardless of outside influences.
It is pretty normal to get nervous whenever the market is gradually decreasing the opposite reaction of the people is negative also of course. Especially holders who put a lot of money on investments, simply because they want a huge profit. Holders must remain calm since we're still on a bearish market and the prices are quite low than usual.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Most ICOs Sales are Failing? on: October 25, 2018, 01:27:07 PM
Currently   Lot of ICOs conducting Sales failed to reach hard cap. Some failed at Soft cap leading to reversing of Funds to investors. ICOs Like Civic , Codex , trivier, decibles,  etc. It was also observed that Most projects delayed token distribution and Exchange Listing. SHOULD I say they are scared of been dumped. Some have been conducting Sales for over 6-7 months. generating all sorts of names just to raise Money,Which shows a clear signs that HARDCAP and SOFTCAP was Not archived.

What could possible be the reason behind this Failures ??

What i really think why ICO's are failing is because of difficult competition among the others. There are lots of ICO ongoing right now and we don't have an idea which one is legit here are going to enter the trust issues from the investors. Few years ago actually until now there are lots of scammed ICO project in which gave some investors the thought of negativity towards the market. No one to blame but the online criminals.
20  Economy / Economics / Re: Where should we focus this year? on: October 25, 2018, 12:04:05 PM
It's really ironic to see how attached some people to cryptocurrencies/blockchain and is persuasive to tell others that blockchain is indeed the next big thing but couldn't even explain well what a blockchain exactly is. Some of people are just riding in the hype and just wanted to earn easy money in the name of blockchain but didn't really know how a blockchain really works.
It is really funny how they are forcing people to believe them because of unknown and rare terms but they don't know it at the first place. There is a bad thing having on our community. There are lots of people in here who just engaged to blockchain technology because of bitcoin's hype last year. Its sad knowing people did just gain interest because of money.
