1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [OFFICIAL] CoinPoker - Bringing the Game Back to Players on: July 12, 2018, 03:36:41 PM
First of all this is not a scam I made an article on steemit about it. I have played online poker for many years. The guys who said coin poker is a scam have scammed the poker community for years. I wont say their names but trust me they make tons of mistakes at poker and have no business teaching poker. Jason Mo was the guy that is pushing hard on coinpoker being a scam. I watched his podcast and he admitted he doesn't know much about crypto currencies. He never played on coinpoker so he has no clue how it works and he says he works for  virtue poker. Coinpoker is blowing virtue poker into nonexistence. They got no room to talk coin poker is one of their few crypto currencies with an actual working product that was actually made very well and has the chp token apart of the ecoystem. Without the chp token you can't use it. As it get more popular and more traffic the coin will go into high demand. It works much better then all of the poker sites I play on. This is 10x better then betcoin using acr software, and seals with clubs is a dam joke. both sites were getting popular but died off as they were to lazy to upgrade anything.

Here is the article on coinpoker.

2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DASH] Dash (dash.org) | First Self-Funding Self-Governing Crypto Currency on: April 02, 2017, 01:08:45 AM
Monero and dash need to quit worrying about each other and worry about all the new anon coins hitting the market gaining popularity. I think the main reason Dash is continuing to fall is because of its pvix coin its the dash dark coin. It is getting a lot of investors. All these anon crypto currencies imo will be not be worth much imo in another 5 to 10 years because it will be over saturated market of anon coins and investors will be split up into to many different anon coins as more and more are made better then whats out on the market. I see the same thing happening with Ethereum too. A lot of of new block chains are coming out that have a better set up with more security. You will see new coins coming out that make the old ecosystems obsolete technology. I think the crypto community needs to find different ways of making crypto currencies outside of anon coins and block chains. Something thats different from what is out on the market. To much competition at a very rapid pace in same sector is never good. The only coin i see that is different right now is Lykke making a forex, stock, crypto currency exchange combined with no fees. Most coins hav to much competition or its not a good project. I do like how Dash user friendly ways, but the competition is getting fierce.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Lykke - Semi-decentralized Exchange on the Blockchain on: March 31, 2017, 08:00:24 PM
We will see more traffic on this exchange then all the exchanges combined. No fees along with how hard it will be to get the regulation needed (networking which Olsen has) to trade a variety of commodities and assets will take down competitors. We are talking about trading anything. Olsen even said houses. If we want to move to China and someone wants to move to Europe on lykke they could actually trade houses. Envision it as the Amazon of exchanges and Olsen is one of the few that can actually do it. Its why I believe it can surpass everything on the crypto currency market right now because hes making it in a way he will have a big moat around any competitor. Look at the stock price of Amazon. It has gone up so fast blowing past any sort of investment. Its market cap is through the roof because no competition. Just think of the traffic of combining centralized and decentralized traders into one exchange that can trade pretty much trade anything they want. It is almost hard to imagine. It has to much potential for him to actually sell it to another business. I honestly don't think someone else could run it as good as he can.

4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Lykke - Semi-decentralized Exchange on the Blockchain on: March 30, 2017, 05:50:06 PM
What's interesting is that if you change base currency to LKK and then look at the relative LKK1Y price it's somewhere around 0.875 while the offering was at 0.8 (20% discount).

So the guys who bought the LKK1Y are already making a decent  6 to 7% profit.

In Swiss Franc the LKK1Y-offering was at 0.04 CHF and price is currently at 0.044 CHF - about 10% gain. First I was concerned that many wouldn't know what it is, but it seems wanted (already during the offering - it was oversigned). Especially those who invest for longterm buy LKK1Y because it's cheaper and without disadvantages for longterm (> 1 year).

For those who don't know what it is:

What is Lykke Forward?
https://www.lykke.com/city/blog/what_is_lykke_forward

It should continue to rise in value. Every month that gets closer to ending the 1 year contract the value goes up towards its real value. Lykke is at a rock bottom price period whether its 1 year or regular price. It will be top 5 to top 10 crypto in a few years and I am being modest about it. I think it could even pass ethereum and bitcoin ( I do like ether and bitcoin I am invested in both). There is so many new cryptos being made and so much competition now that your going to see a lot of these coins go down in value. Its just to much competition at a very rapid pace. But what Olsen is making is something not done before and I doubt anyone else can compete with. It will add all of these new cryptos to its eco system along with things outside of the crypto space. Combining centralized and decentralized business into one is going to be the first revolutionary project of any crypto right now. You don't need to invest much money into lykke imo to hit big on it. I have no doubt in my mind it will be a huge success and I can't say that about any other crypto I have researched.

can someone give a link the the lykke slack channel?
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Lykke - Semi-decentralized Exchange on the Blockchain on: March 26, 2017, 07:01:24 AM
Lykke could take off within a a year. It has more potential then any other crypto on the market. It could monopolize the forex industry. A lot of cryptos are taking off right now but don't be fooled. They will come crashing down. People are foolishly jumping into cryptos that don't even have anything up and running. Your going to see a lot of disappointed investors over the next few years with crypto currencies and Lykke will end up being a favorite. As they add more features to lykke eco system it will catch on like wild fire. The key is patience and you will be rewarded. I seen this same story with internet stocks. People jumped into them in the early 2000s and they came crashing down. Lykke has one thing most of these cryptos don't have, a co founder that knows what he is doing. And has a proven track record to excel in the forex industry. Imo your lucky he is even offering any shares for sale. he will turn this into a great business.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Lykke - Semi-decentralized Exchange on the Blockchain on: March 24, 2017, 12:44:40 PM
Nice to see LKK price reflecting the potential and awesome work they've done so far, Lykke is definitely one of the most undervalued and underhyped project in the industry. Seeing some obscene marketcaps lately like ETC, MAID, PVIX (WTF...like, seriously...) I can't believe Lykke is around 50 million considering total supply.

Considering only available supply Lykke ranks Number 100 at the moment at coinmarketcap.com... Huh

Lykke is actually worth around 65 million if you add in the rest of the shares that are owned by the company.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Lykke - Semi-decentralized Exchange on the Blockchain on: March 22, 2017, 04:07:48 PM
Thanks for your answer @tempus

Something I don't understand about LKK1Y,

Does the total fixed supply of 1,285,690,000 Lykke coins have changed or will change when LKK1Y become LKK ?

If yes:

100 LKK represents 1 share of the legal entity, so LKK's value is lowered since new LKKY (to become LKK) coins came into the game ?? Right ?

No, the total supply doesn't change. That are LKK/shares of the company-treasury. The reason why the price of LKK is a little bit lower since the LKK1Y-sale is more because some sold LKK to buy into LKK1Y and most likely also because Bitcoin hyped during that time. But it's only about 2-4%.

According to the investor deck, the founder and team members own 64% of shares, the Lykke Corporation treasury owns 10%, seed investors own 22%, and ICO and post-ICO investors own 4%. This sale involves another 4%, though it is not clear out of whose portion they are taken. Its actually around 8%
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Lykke - Semi-decentralized Exchange on the Blockchain on: March 21, 2017, 08:23:05 PM
@tempus

Yes it's solved, thanks very much  Wink, I'll take this occasion to ask a few questions about Lykke:

What are currently, the steps to trade / withdraw / deposit EUR or USD to the lykke wallet ?

I don't really understand the concept of colored coin, what does it mean ??  Huh

Do you plan on launching a desktop / web platform in addition to the mobile app ? It could accelerate a lot the usage of lykke exchange ...

EDIT: on the app, I see there's LKK and LKK1Y coins, what do LKK1Y represent ??

That's al for now, thanks for your time

The LKK1Y represents you buying lykke shares at 20% off if you hold the contract for one year. If you choose not to you can sell them back to the market. But if you do hold them you get 20% discount after the year is over the shares are released into your account. As for colored coins I believe they are bitcoin that turn different colors based on the contract you go into. If you want to sell a house the color of the coin might be one color. If you want to start a business it might be another colored coin. I am not sure exactly how it works but I do know a lot more can be done with a colored coin they a regular bitcoin.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Peerplays - First Ever Blockchain-Based Gaming Platform on: March 21, 2017, 05:10:21 AM
New to this thread,Can some one explain in short how it is different from vdice, edgeless etc

I don't trust anything on Ethereum right now. They seem to get hacked pretty easily. Edgeless is also taking out a lot of the profit. I believe its 60% goes to the team and the other 40% is put in a lottery and you get some sort of rewards based on the lottery. Supposedly the 60% goes to making the site better, but I am sure a lot of it is being put in their pockets. I am not a big fan. Also being edgeless with no edge and putting a cap on how much people can bet is not profitable when it comes to gambling. If some whale wants to play whatever he wants and plays poorly that is where the profits come in. THey can't afford to handle a big bank roll so I am not sure they will succeed.

VDice  I don't know much about but I didn't care for the website when I went to try to play on it...
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Lykke - Semi-decentralized Exchange on the Blockchain on: March 20, 2017, 04:52:24 AM
Again, I can really use ETH markets right now, I don't hold any BTC whatsoever at the moment and I won't be buying any anytime soon after all this uncertainty passes. So in terms of deposits/withdrawals for Lykke we are a little cornered right now. I don't mind using ETH or XRP for fast transactions and then convert to fiat or lkk inside the app but I just don't trust Bitcoin right now with all the delays and volatility, you can lose a lot of money just waiting for it to confirm.

It's incredible they've come to this situation, this should be a very humbling lesson for many.

I have done some transactions with Bitcoin. It was fast the few times I tried it. I am talking within 10 minutes. I know bitcoin block chain had some sort of attack I believe a week ago and it slowed down transactions for a day or 2. But I haven't had any problems with the Lykke exchange. It runs pretty smoothly. They will be implementing ethereum btw.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Peerplays - First Ever Blockchain-Based Gaming Platform on: March 20, 2017, 04:42:45 AM
Ya Jesus resurrected a year later to argue with me about Peerplays. I never said I didn't like the idea that Peerplays had. He thinks I have some sort of master plan... I will say that Peerplays has much more potential then breakout coin which has a restriction on certain countries, but claim they are decentralized.  Roll Eyes
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [BRK] Breakout Chain | Coin Sale Complete | Multicurrencies | Gaming + eSports on: March 19, 2017, 01:03:16 PM
Thanks for the exit 'pump'. It's been 'fun' while it lasted. FWIW I don't think this project is a scam. I honestly don't, and anyone with half a brain can realize that. Development is there, progress (albeit slow), is there. However its a seriously poorly executed project. Honestly one of the worst coins (as far as ROI) of 2016 and into 2017. Good luck to all brk/brx hodlers, I hope you all don't keep waiting in vain. In the meantime...onto bigger & better things. Good luck! Smiley

Anyone with a half of brain that plays poker knows that are just using grand poker software... Its cheap software that has no competition with any serious poker client. First thing to do if you want investors is to make real software or software that is better then the competition. Until they can come out with better software I think they have long way to go...

Huck seed says its decentralized... Breakout Gaming will use IP blocking, gaming collusion detection, KYC verification, and other measures to ensure full compliance with all U.S. gaming regulations. It sounds like any other gaming client but instead of using paper currency you your converting it to crypto currencies. soon as the word regulation comes in it doesn't solve any problems people have with the regulations restricting people playing online games for profit.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Melonport [MLN] Blockchain Software for Asset Management on: March 19, 2017, 12:54:59 PM
what is the total supply ??

WTF IS THIS SCAM ??

Doesn't really matter cause they are going to make more of it when the project goes live. Its what I am noticing from a lot of icos they act like a low fixed amount but they add more inflation to it over time which will of course drop the price. People wanted to get away from inflating currencies to ruin into inflated cryptos. The lady running it is supposed to be some wiz day trader. I don't think she has any experience in running a business and this team looks like a bunch of young people who don't seem interested. Watch any you tube on them. Not much enthusiasm. The only serious project of all the cryptos I have looked at is Lykke which is ran by Olsen who was forex man of the year in 2016 and actually ran forex business for about 15 to 20 years successfully. A lot of these icos are ran by nerds who no business experience seems like it is just more of a hobby and they could possibly just be pocketing the ico money. They can care less about the investors. Investors want returns not people to run test with their money (golem, digix etc). We still don't even know if the ethereum chain actually works. So far I haven't seen one project up and running. They always make an excuse of ddos attacks. People are starting to get fed up with these ICOs...
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Peerplays - First Ever Blockchain-Based Gaming Platform on: March 18, 2017, 12:14:21 PM

Who paid 4.00 per coin? We don't have any proof anyone invested in this project. It is all hearsay as of now until the investors provide who they are and show proof they are a legit business. At least its locked up for 6 months. To inflate the coins giving it only to early investors and to make the price seem cheaper then what it is is not rubbing people the right way. Several people wanted to buy into this 2nd round, but they realize whats really going on now. Don't get me wrong though to people who want to invest in it. Peerplays is a great idea to cut out a 3rd party for competition. I just don't like this 10xing a coin rather see what happens when it hits the market.

Says the secret 9 post holder who says he's looking for proof of ownership but offering no disclosure that he already holds PPY with hopes to scare away anyone else from buying in so that the overall share count will be lower upon launch. Although their weekly shareholder announcement is called "The Fuzzy Show," this team has been nothing but transparent from the start.  But not as transparent as you of course Wink

I don't own any peerplays coins. I just started to research a lot of these ICOs to see a lot of red flags in some projects. You haven't posted for a year it says from your 39. Out of nowhere a year later you come out of a cave and post on peerplays saying they are transparent which is very odd when they have not posted 1 investor in the 4 million dollars they got. Nobody is stopping you from buying up the rest of this ICO. If you think the price is great a lot left for you to buy. I don't think anyone disagrees with the fact that Peerplays has a great idea in solving problems with the betting industry. Just not a fan of the 10xing of the ico price.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: People really are falling HARD for the Chronobank scam on: March 18, 2017, 10:59:17 AM

from ICORating . com

Update on Chronobank’s Investment Rating - 12/20/2016
ICORating decided to raise Chronobank’s investment rating from stable to stable + thanks to the following events: on December 15 AXL Strategic Partners, a company which specializes in the evaluation of start-ups and high-risk business investments, invested $ 1.1 million in Chronobank.
AXL Strategic Partners is part of AXL Group Holdings which specializes in areas such as a juridical and legal support (http://axllegal.com.au/ ), assistance in investment deals for Australian and international investors, loans and investments in real estate (http://axl.financial/).
AXL Strategic Partners was founded in 2006 and was registered on the ASIC (The Australian Securities & Investments Commission, the only Australian state financial regulator that controls all financial market participants, including companies and individuals.)  this

AXL financial website does look like a cheap made website. You can't even click on the team members to see back ground info. If you dig deeper you will find out Chris Anderson has the same labor hire business as Chronobank in the same location type area as Edway and uses the same address as his AXL supposed investment business. I don't want to call any business a scam, but I will say lot of red flags with this one... www.axl.partners
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Peerplays - First Ever Blockchain-Based Gaming Platform on: March 17, 2017, 03:38:11 PM
peerplays is not charging you guys 5.00 a coin its 50 dollars on this 2nd round of funding. So what they are doing is 10xing everyones holdings who bought on the first crowd fund who paid 2 to 3.00 a coin. The people paying 5.00 a coin will not get a 10x on the 2nd crowd fund of the coin. So the president i talked to confirmed it. So basically if you bought in the first ico you get a nice deal the people who are buying now are paying like 50 bucks a coin because you wont get a 10x inflation like the first round. So this is imo a rip off for the 2nd round buyers. He thinks its ok to boost the ico pric eto around 50 bucks cause they closed it at 41 on market cap that has nothing to do with a ico price. They are going to have 10 millions and who knows who these 4 million dollar private investors are they can easily flood the market with peer plays and destroy the price of it. Maybe they hold and it stays around 5.00 but I doubt it. This 5.00 price is a rip off. Its double the price of the first ico and your not getting a 10x inflation like everyone else ( including the private investors) from my understanding.

peerplays uia's were traded at $41 before they were locked at 23rd of december. so if you are calculating a little bit, it is a quite fair deal that is offered to the new investors. remember: the tokens are locked since december and can't be traded since the end of may. nearly half a year our money is blocked and we are taking the risk that they are not running away with our money... so tell me, what risks are YOU taking, if you are investing now, at a time when the peersplays blockchain has been developed and ready to take off?Huh

That has nothing to do with new investors. If it got halted that is not new investors problem. So if it got halted at 41 they should be 4.10 cents if they want to follow the market cap. Not 5.00 and tell people they are paying for a 41 million market cap. The people buying into this ico are being over charged. An ico is about getting it cheaper before it hits the market. Not the market price when it was really high. So if there is no lock out period for the 4 million from private investors ( who remain anonymous no proof of other investors) they can flood the market with peerplays and sell all of their shares and destroy the price and buy back at a lower price. I just don't think they will get many more investors in this ico. I been wrong before but this is very fishy to me. But gl with it I do hope it works out for everyone as I have heard the co founder is well known and respected person in the crypto community. So we will see but I am just going to wait for it to hit the market and expect the 4 million dollar investors to sell off and I can get it much cheaper. I do like the idea of it. And if I am wrong I guess I will miss the boat on this one.

I beleive ur assuming a little too much on that, I mean normally ico's offer up special deals to bulk investors. That is if their buying structure is tiered, there would be no advantage to them to buy bag fulls at the price the average joe buys in right? Doubt any of these strategic investors paid anywhere near 5 bucks

The Peerplays Bulletin details all of this in full transparency and was open for public review weeks prior to the launch of the crowdfund.

Section 3 - Token Information gives a full detail of the distribution. The strategic donations amount to 1 mill PPY tokens. The $4mill means thats they paid $4 per token. This is effectively only a 20% difference from where the public sale started. In addition to this, that 20% difference of the strategic doners has to be locked up for at least six months. This was done in the interest of ensuring stable markets following launch and ensuring alignment of interests.

In case anyone missed it, here is a link to the document: https://www.peerplays.com/docs/Peerplays_Bulletin-Feb_2017.pdf

I know these kinda questions go nowhere, but ... where do you guys see Lykke the next 1-3 years? Smiley

In the next 3 to 5 years it will probably be one of the most used sites to trade on. What these other exchanges do now like poloneix, Lykke will be able to do but also trade much  more including things on a stock exchange and forex exchange. Its a big project but Olsen is the one guy that can get the job done. They could have the biggest market cap even surpassing bitcoin quite easily if it runs smoothly over the next 5 to 10 years. Not a lot of marketing yet so people have no idea how big this is going to be and this is coming from a person with a very pessimistic personality with crypto currencies.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Lykke - Semi-decentralized Exchange on the Blockchain on: March 16, 2017, 05:39:30 AM
Lykke is an exchange, right?

How can I involve in?

download the lykke app on ios or android and then you can sign up and buy lykke coins. Or check out the website. Right now they have an app as the exchange but they are going to have a website down the line. Its a forex exchange where Olsen is going to set it up where you can trade anything on the website. And there will be no fees for trading so will be very liquid exchange. People have asked where they make their money. I believe it will be from other big businesses that want to be part of the lykke exchange eco system. Customers don't get charged anything but the businesses will be charged to use the platform. I could be wrong, but I believe thats how its going to be set up.
