3  Economy / Economics / Re: What do you think about crypto currency issued by the government? on: January 01, 2019, 09:48:49 AM
This is very good for the cryptocurrency market. At that time, Bitcoin will once again be take off.

Then what was the purpose of Bitcoin at the first instance, It was introduced to curb centralization and explicit control of the government over native currency, Any cryptocurrency introduced by the government will about nothing but complete centralization as the name implies to Govern "Conduct the policy, actions, and affairs of (a state, organization, or people) with authority." Why would anyone want this ?
I think it will never be a good idea because surely government are only the one that get more benefited and surely they will conduct policy which is also not good idea. So that's why crypto is decentralized which is good because government is not allowed to conduct policy to it. So I think many people will be glad because they get the benefit through it that what they deserve.

5  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin Worth To Be Currency? on: December 18, 2018, 03:37:55 PM
Well for me it is the best option to choose from and I believe that bitcoin will not become a currency in the future but will be the best thing to consider when making any payments and you can see that the market is constantly fluctuating and bitcoin prices are constantly adjusting and falling sharply, the bitcoin price fluctuations as much as the current time is due to bitcoin No country, or any government control, so bitcoin always fluctuates even in these coming days.
Yes but i think its not easy to be a currency because its value is always changing while if the currency needed it should be have fix value. I think its better if Bitcoin is only good as an asset because there is possibility give you huge profit. Bitcoin is better for an alternative currency as payment especially in transaction.
6  Economy / Economics / Re: Who is really hopeful about the future of Bitcoin and why? on: December 18, 2018, 02:52:00 PM
Who is really hopeful about the future of Bitcoin and why?
I do not hope for bitcoin, I hope in the whole crypto market. I am not the guy who invests in the big altcoins. I only invest in new growing albacans like Banano. It was fork from Nano and I think this is a potential altcoin in the future.
I always thought that investing now would bring great profit in the future. I have always believed in that. I will patiently wait 5 more years.
all of us are hoping for the good situation of bitcoin and to its future because we know that it is really helpful especially in financial. That's why we still believe to it even its not have higher value right now. A lot of us is hoping for the rising of bitcoin but some of us have no patience so they sell immediately their coin, so i suggest to all to become more patience because possible it take time before bitcoin become valuable again.
7  Economy / Economics / Re: What will you do in 2030? on: December 18, 2018, 02:09:51 PM
Everything is possible in 2030, anything can happen easily so better to be ready on that. There’s really a rumor for the next world financial crisis and maybe it will happen early before 2030. Well, i don’t have much money for the future but I believe my stocks account will allow me to survive on that crisis.

Investment is a good way for us to survive, and maybe cryptocurrency will be a great option for us. Who knows right? So preparing for the future is a must for everyone, don’t be too complacent for what you have right now because it can be gone easily in the future.
If there are still cryptocurrency then i'still investing to it. Year 2030 is too much far, there's a lot possible to happen so I think its better to focus what is current situation right now then only preparing and planning for the future.
8  Economy / Economics / Re: Starbucks drops hint at plans to accept Bitcoin on: December 18, 2018, 12:58:39 PM
I drink Starbucks daily.  I would love to see this.  I can't imagine using Bitcoin in a scenario like this.  If this happens and other retail outlets are forced to compete Bitcoin will be accept around the world almost instantly.  Very exciting.  I hope it happen soon.

Thou, bitcoin is known around the world, all I can say is that we should still preserve this kind of stuff. Not everything can be handled by bitcoin. It is good to innovate but come to think of it, old habits die hard... I think that it will be a big change for the customers..
well that good to hear if Starbucks give hint about the accepting in bitcoin, so I think if some store is also accept bitcoin surely it will become more valuable and become more popular. Also if many popular store accept bitcoin then possible those same popular store will also planning to accept once they knew that it easy to used.
9  Economy / Economics / Re: All times are good to enter crypto - Tim Draper on: December 17, 2018, 03:42:47 PM
All times are good to enter the cryptocurrency market. - Tim Draper
Do you agree with this guy? All I know is Mr. Draper is a billionaire, huge bitcoin bull and a venture capitalist.
I kinda agree with him when I look at the bitcoin inform of investment vehicle for long-term, not just hit and run kind of investment.
What y'all got to say about this?

Fully positive, that's what I thought. Hearing him saying so, I agree and think the same way. Whenever you join and invest your money on bitcoin, it's good. Only people who only seeking for money who will disagree with it, while people with long-term investment who really invest their money, not to hit and run, will keep and stay their beliefs, their thoughts, and their moves on bitcoin. They have no doubt and no afraid of losing because they know that it's just a risk of investment.
Not all the time but you can still enter in crypto and wait for the bull run. And i think its better to enter while the price is lower because the price is more cheaper than its original price. Also you can get more profit if you buy it while its price is lower then sell it when the price is higher. Any time you can enter in crypto as long as you have enough knowledge and understand about it.
10  Economy / Economics / Re: the future of crypto is good or bad on: December 17, 2018, 12:07:11 PM
I want to invest my savings into cryptocurrency. So I think about the future of cryptocurrency. what do you think? Do you think the future or cryptocurrency is good? Or do you think the future or cryptocurrency is bad?
Please help me, because I will invest all my savings. So if I make a bad decision, my family and I will be on the road to improve my economy.

If you believe in crypto world then you don't have to hesitate to invest on some crypto. You don't need to invest all your income but little by little and be sure that it is legit.
Well when the topic is about the future we only have predictions because nobody knows what possible happen in the future whether its bad or good. But for me crypto will last longer for more many years and as long as many people are going to trust and believe to it then there is big chance the future of cryptocurrency will be good. And since the crypto is widely become popular in many country then possible many people will get interested to it.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: With all honesty, who still wants bitcoin to die? on: December 17, 2018, 11:11:52 AM
No one ever wanted it do you. No one has any benefit out of it dying. All the speculations and stories are created with a reason and there is always someone benefitting out of it. The price drop brought a lot of negative sides and the speculations and stories about BTC dying probably had their share in the price.
Generally nobody don't wants to die the bitcoin because, those few people want bitcoin to die are those who had not good experience or get benefits from bitcoin that's why they have a lot negative thoughts about it. For me Bitcoin will remain and possible last longer because even its having a downtrend many people are still believe and trust to it. Also I think bitcoin will never me die because most crypto convert in Bitcoin before they can get money.
12  Economy / Economics / Re: The harmful affect of a continuous downward movement of the Bitcoin price. on: December 11, 2018, 08:29:04 AM
Most people would agree that it would be more beneficial for the price of a stock/commodity/currency to slowly go up, rather than continuously going down.

Investors <short-term> are looking at a potential investment, where they can be motivated to invest more money into that investment, because the profit <carrot> is held in front of them, because the price is continuously going up. This is what happened prior to 2017 and that is why investors dumped large amounts of money into Bitcoin. <Back then, the price pattern showed a continuous upward trend>

Now, with the price constantly going down, investors are sceptical to invest in Bitcoin and some short-term investors are pulling the plug.

Even if you are not interested in Bitcoin as an investor and you are just buying bitcoins to use as a currency, then a continuous downward movement in the price is more heart breaking, because you are getting less value for the bitcoins that you bought the day or the week before.

Even merchants hate a downward spiral of the price, because they will lose profit, if they are not using a payment processor to convert the coins to fiat currency.

On the way down a lot of people panic and they sell at a loss and these people will lose confidence in the currency/commodity and they will never invest in Bitcoin again.

We need a slow upward trend to get us back on track or this will go down in flames.  Sad
It’s best the way that things have been. Although I am not happy for how the market is going down, but it shouldn’t only go up, cause many sees it as a source of making quick and free money. Now that the price is down, all of them have dismissed themselves and it would take them by surprise when the market begin to go back up.
If the movement of Bitcoin price is continuously downward then surely the effect of it is many people will be get less interested to it that cause to Bitcoin to not become popular anymore. Also Bitcoin most of the time it is the started to rise before the other crypto, and when Bitcoin fall it also fall the other crypto, so I think there huge eefect not only is but to all crypto once the bitcoin is falling. But I know that Bitcoin can recover from its long time falling price.
13  Economy / Economics / Re: Fiat, Banks and the future of Cryptocurrencies on: December 11, 2018, 12:17:59 AM
As probably most people on this forum, I am fairly active in investing and trading in cryptocurrencies. I had some luck and made a little money with it, but I am now concerned to move some of the gains back to fiat.

In particular, I am working for a large, global bank (which shall remain unnamed for now). They are in the process of setting up new guidelines to deal with clients that engage in cryptocurrency markets. For instance, they are monitoring money inflow from cryptoexchanges and would reject any money that comes from non-approved exchanges (in particular those that don't have strong KYC procedures). Furthermore, for larger amounts, they would even require some proof how the gain was obtained.

A couple of critical items I want to raise for discussion:

1. If somebody has experienced such complications with their banks already, it would be interesting to hear about their stories
2. If more and more banks adapt similar measures (or even stricter ones, like some credit card companies disallowing financing of cryptos all together), what do you think the implications on the market place will be? For instance, do you think exchange without KYC's will suffer?
3. Do you think this could lead to "ICO heavens" where only ICO's will have a chance to survive that undergo a stringent background check that would be acceptable for banks?

I do understand the banks concern to ensure that there is no money laundering or criminal financing involved, but such restrictive, strict measures could have a significant impact on the entire cryptocurrency market. In a doomsday scenario, I could even imagine banks globally to impose similar restrictions worldwide, and thus even killing the entire cryptomarket. The fact that more and more internet shops, service providers, or even brick-and-mortar shops might accept cryptocurrencies does not really solve the problem, as these shops would be forced by THEIR banks to impose stricter measures on their clients. Thus the problem remains, but would be shifted along the chain.  Do you think such a scenario is plausible?

nobody knows for sure mate! We'll see. It's like MGO's leap a few days ago. Seem like crypto is a complete mess or something
I think fiat and bank will be remain to be used while cryptocurrency will more features come and become more develop. The future of them are depend in the demand, so as long as many people are still using and believing to it, surely it will remain and possible last longer. Especially to cryptocurrency because its very profitable.
14  Economy / Economics / Re: why bitcoin price fall down? on: December 04, 2018, 10:10:33 AM
what do you think about it? my prediction is bitcoin price will be back to $1000/btc in next 5 months or less. since oil price was fall down now and trade war between US and china. give your opinion pls

Its really something that is hard to explain why the current downturn is really massive without any stoppage. For me, bitcoin price going back to $1000 is not something we should be envisaging at the moment although its going to be hard not to think of it but hope is the only thing we have in our hands and striving to make things better in our own little way.
I agree its not easy to explain why Bitcoin price is keep falling and also nobody knows when it price to rise again. So I think its better to wait for its comeback, and have patience all the time because sometimes it takes time before the price increase again. Also no one have idea if when its going to rise or to fall, so the best thing we can do is wait for it and keep believing to  Bitcoin.
15  Economy / Economics / Re: The US dollar is gaining strength on: December 03, 2018, 01:59:14 PM
I don't think so because if the current oil politics against iran made some of the countries to trade the oild with their native currency instead of the USD so it makes the value falls little bit down but many countries still following US rules,if that changes the prices will fall too low.
I think the reason why the US dollar is gaining strength is because their economy is gradually rising. Also there's effect for the fiat currency when the economy of the country is rising, so since the USA country is having right now a growing economy surely their currency will rise. And possible many opportunities will be given especially to their worker and those people who have not yet job.
16  Economy / Economics / Re: Is the Market Stabilizing? on: November 30, 2018, 10:30:06 PM
I don't have great analytical skills, but I have little sure that now is a stable price for bitcoin and preparation to go up.
now there are no stable coins and everything is falling sharply. and in my opinion the coin will begin preparations in 2019. this year is the worst year for the world of cryptocurrency because the price is difficult to rise.
In my own understanding market right now is gradually rising because when you see the movement of market its pumping a little, so I think it is the starting for the rise. And I hope this happening right now in the market is continuously to rise and I feel that is not only a little movement, because I think market is started to recover.
I think so, because market now is gradually pumping so I think it is the goos start for market rising. I hope pumping in the market continue to happen, and also I think this movement is a good sign that market is possible to rise before end of the year. For sure market is starting to stabilize, so we onlyy need is to wait if that movement is lead to the good start for market.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are you long on, and why? on: November 30, 2018, 04:00:30 PM
if you ask why we are holding back for a long time, of course we are waiting for the opportunity to get a big profit. well, at the moment I'm holding back bitcoin, eth, and some other assets. I will exchange it when I need money, but for now, I don't need it, so I hold it in my wallet.
What if you need money when the price of the coins you hold is bad? holding for the long term must be separated from money for your daily needs, so that the coins that you hold can last for a long time according to your target, btw I save bitcoin of course, XRP and stellar
Because im waiting for the chance to get huge profit ince the price increase. There's no reason to give as long as you hold a good crypto that can change your life. Also I'm still waiting even it takes long time because I strong believe that sooner or later the predictions of many that possible to increase the price before end of the year but if not i will keep believing and keep waiting for rising.
18  Economy / Economics / Re: Will crypto solve socioeconomic problems? on: November 30, 2018, 02:58:46 PM
In the list of social economic problems i no it includes 1- unemployment 2- poverty 3- corruption 4- educational challenges etc if this is what you mean by social-economic problems and you ask if crypto will solve the above problems, globally the answer is NO, but individually YES is my answer because some of the aforementioned challenges hing on CHOICE
The main problem in socio-economic is the unemployment then next is poverty in many country, so if they know how to used crypto then possible they will get earn and surely they will lessen the problem in their economic.  And since the cryptocurrency become popular nowadays there's possibility many people will be might get interested to it and possible used it. Crypto can only help people to have additional income, so I think it can lessen the problem in socio-economic.
19  Economy / Economics / Re: Apart from trading where else to use crypto? on: November 29, 2018, 05:44:37 PM
Crypto has vast number of applications other than trading but there are few countries which actually implement crypto for buying goods and services. But can you imagine how crypto currency can be beneficial for company, companies can use it as monthly wages if employees allow it. But right now Crypto is just seen as an asset which is traded on exchanges and converted into fiat but in future we will see many uses of crypto
If many country starting to accept crypto then possible it can used anything like used as payment in store or give as salary of employees, but since it only used as trading and it only become fiat when someone exhanges it to their currency. And I think cryptocurrency is now can used as payment in some site and accept in some country, maybe when years goes by crypto will be used not only as asset but lot of uses.
Right now some country is planning to accept it and some country is starting to accept crypto like in Japan. I heard that in Japan they used crypto as a wages for their employees. So I think cryptocurrency not only for trading and asset but only as payment in the future, we all need to do is still wait for it to happen and wait for our country to accept it.
20  Economy / Economics / Re: You missed all the trains, not just bitcoin on: November 29, 2018, 05:06:26 PM
I passed the opportunity to make a profit but I can still hold the assets of bitcoin, crypto and keep locking in the next few years, by seeing better train opportunities in the future.
Right now is not a good year for Bitcoin, so I think there are still some time to invest not only in Bitcoin but to those top listed crypto. So I recommend to those peoole who planning to invest in Bitcoin to start it now because I strong believe that it will become more valuable this upcoming year, and it seems it possible to happen because many people are still believe and trust to it.
