Underclock the core down to about 1100.
Mem on the high end is 2125, low end 1950.
This is with modded memory straps, you will not hit 2125 without them, just increase it as much as you can.

sol = hash H/s = hash per second MH = Million hashes per second
Ether mining produces hash rates thousands of times faster than Zcash, so you use MH.
a solution is not the same as a hash. They are fundamentally different measurement. ZCash reads out in sol/s because the Devs believe it is a better measure than hashes. That last sentence makes little sense and is misleading. OP, it sounds like you were equating the hashrate your cards get ethereum mining to zcash mining. You should just test mining some zcash to see how fast your rig is. At the moment, your AMD cards are almost certainly 15%+ more profitable mining eth than zcash, but that can change very quickly.

smOS is changing some of my card's core clock speeds without any input. The snapshot below is a of a rig running 7 RX 570s, all with stock bios, and no OC settings applied (ever) via the Dashboard. As you can see, two of them have switched from the default 1128 to 1191. This seemingly happens at random to different GPUs across all of my rigs. The change to 1191 is not random, however. A couple of my rigs currently have some GPUs with a custom bios which has a default core clock of 1191. The rig in the photo has not ever had anything but cards with the stock bios connected. I have also manually input 1191 as the core clock on other rigs of mine, but I have never applied an OC to the rig in the picture. Changing the core clock settings in smOS does not seem to have any effect. It will change the clock upon startup, but it may change again before mining even starts, without any notice in the terminal. edit: 1128 is not even the stock clock according to MSI spec sheet, it is actually 1268. So why is smOS automatically downclocking my cards??? it is using linux drivers not windows which may vary a bit Well that may explain why they seem to default to 1128. But I'm still unsure as to why the core clock would be changed, sometimes after booting/passing the "OC Phase" of startup, but before/just as mining starts. On another note, one of my rigs spits this out before eventually booting: Then mines at a severely reduced hashrate, sometimes with as little as 2 or as many as 6 cards, eventually crashing and rebooting.

so when u ssh into the rig and check the core clocks (aticonfig --adapter=all --odgc) there is still the default clock active? or is it the max clock and the actual clock is 1129?
that would mean that your power target is to low i would say so the gpu is downclocking to stay stable.
I left my power target alone, so i do not think it is that. I have never used SSH. But it does not look too difficult, but where do I find proper login credentials for each rig? Q: what user and pass used to login on console? A: miner/miner .... root/miner1324 than i dont understand what u mean. who is telling you the different clocks? The default clock of my current bios is set to 1191. But the smOS dashboard displays the clock as 1128. It is also hashing as if the clock is ACTUALLY set to 1128. When smOS first boots, before the miner starts, when the OC profile is applied it does not say anything about down-clocking. If, instead of leaving the OC settings blank, I type "1191" in the core clock field, the OC profile is then applied on startup, outputting "1191 ----> 1191" First boot after flashing the GPU, it hashed at 29.3 and smOS dashboard displayed 1191 as the core clock. After 10-20mins the hashrate dropped to ~27-28 and the dashboard began displaying the core clock as 1128. Every restart since, the card has hashed at 27-28h right off the bat, and the dashboard always displays core clock as 1128. edit: I would like to ssh into the rig to check your suggestion, but I have never done that before. I have installed Putty and am tying to figure out what the proper ip/port is. your ip you should know is it in your local network then ask your router for DHCP leases ... port is 22 ... user and password is miner ... after logging in you need to type the following: export DISPLAY=:0 aticonfig --adapter=all --odgc Putty just tells me "Network Error: Connection Refused" Sorry, I've done hardware repair for years, and am finally paying for avoiding networking

The Dashboard appears to be displaying a different core clock than I have as the default in the gpu bios.
my bios has a default core clock of 1191
Initially, the Dashboard displayed the correct clock of 1191, with the GPU at ~29.3mh
I noticed the hashrate dropped to ~28.1mh, which is when I saw the Dashboard displaying the core at 1128
But the terminal does not show any down-clocking
even when I set the core to 1191 in the OC settings via the dashboard, the terminal never says the clock was lowered, it just says "1191 ----> 1191"
anyone else experience this or know a solution?

Could some step me through how to flash GPUs with smOS? It would be much appreciated mhhh is SMOS capable to flash GPU bios?! ... if so i would be interested into too ... but for now i would say, SMOS is a mining os ... not an oc os "atiflash for linux - for now its only program located at /root/utils/atiflash If you know putty (ssh) then you can login into rig and flash custom bios remotly. The flashing from dashboard will be propably implemented in future but not soon. Right now you can do the flashing only by direct ssh into rigs."

MSI support page for the mobo. You might as well get the new BIOS from May, it works as well and even labels "above 4g decoding" as "cryptocurrency mining" now

I am having a problem with my SSRV1. 7 out of 8 rigs attached to it were rebooting nearly every 3 minutes, after some troubleshooting it appears that the SSR is actually rebooting all but 1 rig over and over.
I do no have watchdog enabled currently, and believe I set it up just fine according to Tytanick's instructions. Is it possible that the SSR is faulty? or could I have done something to cause this problem?

why people thinkt he diff is locked now? i still see the diff increasing in all the coin on whattomine, and i can easily buy gpu on amazon, if i can everyone can, there is no shortage of gpu, there are plenty available

None of the good mining gpus are available on Amazon or anywhere else for the matter unless you want to pay 3 or 4 times retail. what you are talking about i see plenty of 1070 available https://www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=nb_sb_noss_1?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=1070, many arrive on 12 june, which is not 28 days Small miners buying GPUs off of amazon are a drop in the ocean. The real shortage is for larger miners not able to get bulk orders through right now. In a month when AMD has more chips out, you better bank on all of them going direct to farms and difficulty spiking.

-Use either simpleminer-RX-v1093-4.11.rc8-16.60-enableexe0ANDips0.imgc or simpleminer-RX-v1093-4.11.rc8-16.60-enablerc60.imgc Any other settings you changed will cause issues. Set to Auto/pull cmos to get back to defaults before changing what I said above.
Have you used Ubuntu at all? Does Simpleminer come with the AMDGPU-Pro drivers? I'm having a really odd problem where my fans stop when starting Claymore but also when I try to boot via PEG (normally running IGD) with the monitor connected to the GPU. I did not have this problem the first time I set this up, and have not been able to get past it. Claymore will mine happily and run the CPU up. It thinks the fans are at 22%. Any help greatly appreciated! Sorry I have no idea! That is a pretty strange issue. My post above I just copy-pasted from something I sent to another person who uses smOS. All the other steps above should get 5-7 GPUs working in ubuntu.
